I decided to sleep and the bed was comfortable but the pillows had blood on the them and were not very nice to rest my head. The other guests were rude and have the biggest side eyes and were nosey. ((( IMO- this would be a great family vacation stay option too! ))) *only gripe was we had trouble with the TV & a few lights in our room- & -no one could- or -would come look at it. (I felt like it was probably a flipped breaker since it was everything on the 1-wall of our room). It was late- & -there were no other rooms available to move us to- the next day the manager wrote me out a card for a free night in the future- since my bill was paid in advance. *My only other complaint- there are no carts to move your luggage & also no elevators. So ask for ground level if steps or carrying your heavier items are a problem. We were on the ground floor- thank the Lord- because we were physically exhausted both days from wedding set up- the rehearsal & then the actual wedding- & -lastly take down of said wedding afterwards. Whew -it was alotta work! *Hotel is on main strip leading into town- so it's close to most anything you might want to eat- it's close to the stadium/ MSU campus as well. Fortunately, we were quickly checked-in by a gentleman (I was so fatigued that I forgot to obtain his name) at the customer service desk. The gentleman provided us all with our keys (my parent's and sister had one room, while my wife and I had another) and a detailed rundown of the hotel's amenities (i.e., gym, indoor swimming pool, complimentary buffet-style breakfast, mini-market, and bar). Desiring to wind down and enjoy an adult beverage (or two), my wife and I headed down to the bar. The bar area is very comfortable and has a plenty of seating options. We were warmly greeted by a bartender named Megan who immediately inquired about our drinks of choice. For the first round we opted for vodka tonics and margaritas for the second round. Megan was so kind to hand us a remote to one of the televisions so that we could tune it to a station of our desire (at the time we were the only individuals at the bar). Megans drinks were absolutely delicious (especially her margarita) and she even provided us with popcorn to soak up the alcohol. After a much needed night of quality sleep (I forgot to mention that the rooms are very spacious and clean), my wife and I headed downstairs to grab some breakfast. That particular morning they had the following food & drink options: scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes (complete with peppers and onions), a wide range of cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. After enjoying the surprisingly good breakfast (hotel free breakfast can be hit or miss), we made our way to the gym. The gym had an exercise bike, treadmill, elliptical, and dumbbells up to 50 pounds...plenty of equipment to get in a good workout. We enjoyed our three day and two nights stay at the Springhill Suites by Marriott, I have bookmarked this hotel for future stays whenever I'm in town visiting my family in Murray!

She was interesting and talked an awful lot. I was actually kinda worried about her well being. This is a pretty decent place to stay with that said. Rates were reasonable even though I booked two rooms the wrong date the first time through Expedia. Lost that $350! It's my fault though. Still pisses me off. It was clean, smelled good, decent amenities, nice staff, place to sleep. Bed was actually comfortable. What else do you need I guess? There is a bar in the lobby with booze. The breakfast is typical blah. They do have biscuits & gravy though, so there is that. Bacon is paper thin. After that it's a bunch of breads and sugars. Don't eat that stuff! It's bad for you! We had a family reunion here and we had a very nice room looking out into the patio with access. I was actually shocked at how much event space was here at this hotel. Why?? Also the only soap they have is in soap dispensers they don't even fill with the same type of soap, and have probably never cleaned because there's hair on the bottom of it too. There's picture frames on the wall, without any pictures. Not sure where the art in the supposed gallery is. I've put a chair in front of my door because I can't say I feel safe here as a solo female traveler. Tempted to move the dresser too, it isn't busy though and I haven't seen sus people. You can hear the cars going by though and even the person snoring next door. Rooms were freezing when we got inside so I quickly turned the heat up. It would be good if you're just looking for a cheap place to stay for one night, and aren't alone. But I wouldn't say it's family friendly by any means.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Lynn, who provided exceptional customer service. She was friendly, compassionate, and went above and beyond to take care of our family. Given that Paris is a small town with limited hotel options, finding one with such great service was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely stay there again in the future!
