I decided to sleep and the bed was comfortable but the pillows had blood on the them and were not very nice to rest my head. The other guests were rude and have the biggest side eyes and were nosey. Fortunately, we were quickly checked-in by a gentleman (I was so fatigued that I forgot to obtain his name) at the customer service desk. The gentleman provided us all with our keys (my parent's and sister had one room, while my wife and I had another) and a detailed rundown of the hotel's amenities (i.e., gym, indoor swimming pool, complimentary buffet-style breakfast, mini-market, and bar). Desiring to wind down and enjoy an adult beverage (or two), my wife and I headed down to the bar. The bar area is very comfortable and has a plenty of seating options. We were warmly greeted by a bartender named Megan who immediately inquired about our drinks of choice. For the first round we opted for vodka tonics and margaritas for the second round. Megan was so kind to hand us a remote to one of the televisions so that we could tune it to a station of our desire (at the time we were the only individuals at the bar). Megans drinks were absolutely delicious (especially her margarita) and she even provided us with popcorn to soak up the alcohol. After a much needed night of quality sleep (I forgot to mention that the rooms are very spacious and clean), my wife and I headed downstairs to grab some breakfast. That particular morning they had the following food & drink options: scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes (complete with peppers and onions), a wide range of cereal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, and tea. After enjoying the surprisingly good breakfast (hotel free breakfast can be hit or miss), we made our way to the gym. The gym had an exercise bike, treadmill, elliptical, and dumbbells up to 50 pounds...plenty of equipment to get in a good workout. We enjoyed our three day and two nights stay at the Springhill Suites by Marriott, I have bookmarked this hotel for future stays whenever I'm in town visiting my family in Murray!

If you are coming to Murray, well... at least you can buy booze now apparently. We did have a run in with a pretty methy-like-half-naked lady out on the patio late at night. She was interesting and talked an awful lot. I was actually kinda worried about her well being. This is a pretty decent place to stay with that said. Rates were reasonable even though I booked two rooms the wrong date the first time through Expedia. Lost that $350! It's my fault though. Still pisses me off. It was clean, smelled good, decent amenities, nice staff, place to sleep. Bed was actually comfortable. What else do you need I guess? There is a bar in the lobby with booze. The breakfast is typical blah. They do have biscuits & gravy though, so there is that. Bacon is paper thin. After that it's a bunch of breads and sugars. Don't eat that stuff! It's bad for you! We had a family reunion here and we had a very nice room looking out into the patio with access. I was actually shocked at how much event space was here at this hotel. Why?? I will probably never know. I have a decent amount of family in the area. Murray isn't a bad place these days. Heck I may even come back here someday to save the Murray meth lady. '25 - 69/111

I can't say enough good things about this little gem of a motel. Pulling in to town at the end of…read morethe day, we were tuckered & just wanted a clean comfortable room. I was too tired to call around for a smoking room so the plan was to find a single level motel w/parking in front of our room so I could smoke by my car before bed. The inn keeper is also the artist of a myriad of sweet little paintings decorating different corners of the motel. She's a friendly sort and takes the time for conversation if you so desire. She even gave us a free writing tablet w/one of her artworks on the front. We were given a corner king suite w/bedding that was SO comfortable I made sure to search out the tags to discover the maker of the softest smoothest sheets I ever felt, that I was caressing them until I fell asleep. That's not an exaggeration. I thought the quilted seat cushions & cheerful bathroom w/green tile & shower curtain made for a homey atmosphere. My favorite thing is the vintage touches - even the keys are old fashioned! I was pleasantly surprised to find a smoking area in a gazebo w/tables and chairs located out front. The only con I found with this motel is one side of the bed did not have a night stand w/plugs. But since my husband has an extra long charging cord , he slept on that side using our ice chest for a table. Sadly, I've been searching for the same type of accommodations in every town we retire to & have come up short so far. If I ever get back to Murray, KY this will be the motel we choose.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! If I could give this hotel 0 stars I wouldn't because I would give it negative…read moreinfinity stars. Every single aspect of this hotel is absolutely disgusting. From the customer service to the integrity of the building to the state of the rooms it is flat out disgusting and unacceptable. Starting with the outside of the hotel, it is crumbling and falling apart. There are roaches and rats running around and going in and out of people's doors. Next the door to your actual room is in no way shape or form secure. Could easily be forced open so beware especially if you're a woman traveling. Now let's talk about the room. Upon walking in the room we booked (supposed to be non-smoking) it immediately smelled thick and musty of cigarette smoke. It had an awful yellow haze it was absolutely horrid. When checking the beds we were mortified to discover multiple bugs in the covers and under the mattresses. Along with the bugs we also discovered a cigarette burn in the sheets. As well as tons and tons of mystery brown, yellow, and red stains. The sheets and mattresses looked as if they hadn't been cleaned ever. It looked like a trap house it was trifling. Now let's talk about support staff. While attempting to check in the woman working the front desk jumped off to an awfully rude start immediately wanting to up charge us for no reason. When I said ok if that is what she wanted then we would just like a refund and we will stay somewhere else all of a sudden she wanted to cooperate and give us a room. Obviously we checked out that room and it was completely uninhabitable. So upon returning downstairs to speak with her to have a refund processed ACCORDING to THEIR refund policy she rolled her eyes and gave us a horridly rude look. Then when I told her about the bugs and stains and provided her with picture and video evidence and asked for a refund she then stated (I kid you not) "Oh don't leave here I'll put you in a really nice room. This room is a really good one." Which obviously left me to infer that she placed us in a crappy room on purpose. When I refused the new room her all of a sudden cooperative attitude changed and she directly stated "No I'm not helping you anymore". Not that she was any help in the first place. She told me she could not refund me and to reach out to my 3rd party booking site and she would approve the refund through them (fair). So here we are I've reached out to the booking site we used and they told me to reach out to the hotel to notify them that they need to approve the refund which the woman working last night said she would do. And the man that answered the phone proceeded to hang up on me 4 times. When he finally matured enough to have a conversation he didn't mature enough not to yell, cuss, and insult me. I tried to notify him that priceline needed them to confirm the refund to which he yelled and screamed at me that he already refunded me (which I thought the lady last night said they couldn't refund me and priceline had to do it.... hmmmm....) When I tried to explain to him they just needed to confirm through email he continued to yell scream and cuss. He kept reiterating to me that booking.com did not email him which I kept reiterating to him that I did not use booking.com and that I used Priceline. I asked him to calm down so we could have a conversation to which he screamed some intelligible stuff and hung up. Every single worker in this place is hostile, cold, unwelcoming, rude, and have no idea that the idea of a hotel is hospitality. I would never recommend this hotel from hell. There genuinely is not one single positive point I could truly provide about this place and trust me if I could find a bright side I would but there isn't one. This hotel was so awful I would recommend it to my worst enemy. Sleep here if you want to get berated by staff, your room and car broken into, lots of bed bug bites, roaches in your stuff, mouse poop in your stuff, probably some kind of hepatitis from the bathroom and water, and possibly stolen based on the security of the doors. Truly this place is a scam ran by truly greedy, nasty, and awful people. Take my warning with heed, DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT DO IT. I know youre thinking but it's so cheap I could really save money. Well when you catch whatever infectious disease by staying here you won't be saving money when you get those hospital bills trust me. Spend the extra hundred bucks and stay at the Hampton instead. Trust me.

Excellent Stay - Ask for the 4th Floor!…read more I had an excellent stay at the Hampton Inn in Paris, Tennessee. I stayed on the 4th floor in Room 421, and I was extremely impressed with how clean and fresh everything was. I had the pleasure of meeting Kristy, the room attendant for the 4th floor, and she does an absolutely outstanding job. My room was spotless, smelled fresh, and you could tell that she takes real pride in her work. I stay in hotels quite a bit, and unfortunately, many are subpar when it comes to cleanliness. That was definitely NOT the case here. Kristy deserves recognition for the job she does. It makes a huge difference when you walk into a hotel room and immediately feel comfortable because you can tell it has been thoroughly cleaned and cared for. If you're staying at the Hampton Inn in Paris, TN, ask for a room on the 4th floor. If Kristy is taking care of it, I don't think you'll be disappointed! Great job, Kristy, and thank you for making my stay such a good one!
