This was my first time staying at the Red Rock Resort and we really enjoyed this property. It is off the strip, but there is still enough going on that you will not get bored. They have several restaurants and other activities to indulge in. Our room was nice, with a decent view and the bathroom was very nice. The overall ambiance felt very elegant. We found the service at this property to be good and everyone was very attentive. It was also nice that the Summerlin shopping area was a 5 minute Uber away. We made appointments at the spa for body treatments and massages and the service was amazing. I had surgery shortly before this trip and the massage therapist made adjustments I needed without a problem. I also liked that the spa automatically added a 20% gratuity to services so I didn't have to think about that. I would highly recommend this hotel/resort if you are looking for a Vegas experience that is a little more low key, but still allows you to have the gambling, dining and shopping experience. read more

You know, in a city of service, casinos, and gambling you would think that they would treat you well here a red rock casino. We had been planning a birthday celebration for over a month. We frequent many of the station casinos. This was our first time staying at one though. We had spoken with the host Seth Fink. He had set us up with our suite, as well as an early check in at 1030 because we were going to the Rouge room pool at 11am. He had guaranteed an early check in because we had over 15 people coming and had a lot of items for the party. We had two other guest of the party book rooms. Which their rooms were both ready by 11:30am. Mine though was given away the night prior!! And I guess the WHOLE RESORT WAS BOOKED! So I couldn't even get a regular room for the time being. I didn't question why they didn't just give me someone else's like they had done with our suite. Our suite which was promised at 10:30 am wasn't ready for another 3 hours until 1:30pm while we had the all our guests at the rouge room cabana and couch which come with nothing but water for a total of 400$ and 200$. So mind you.....I'm already 600$ in at red rock casino. No room. Running down to the bell desk to get into our luggage constantly. Nothing from the host Seth Fink. We actually haven't heard from him for over a week now. And none of his colleagues are helping him out. As I mentioned it's a birthday celebration. So a balloon. A cheap bottle of champagne, or at this point a freaking cookie would have meant a lot. We get to the suite and there's nothing. So it was a disappointment but at this point I expected it. Get the bill for the cabana and couch. Well it's over 2,000 dollars. Seth said he was at least going to take care of the 400$ charge for just having the cabana where there are no misters in ours. But misters in every other cabana. They tacked on that 400$. So strike 2 Seth! No early check in. The front desk was honest about what went on so I appreciate that. But offered not one solution. And now I'm paying to have a dilapidated cabana. As well as a couch right in the sun. We gamble. Everyone in our party gambles so you have 10-15 people running around your table games and slots. Which I understand it's gambling, so you can eventually lose. So at this point we are in over 10,000 on the tables and slots....... Brining the total to over 12,000 dollars at red rock casino. And this is without any tips so far. This is where I'm at the tipping point. If the front desk would have noted about any of experience and reached out the next day it could have made a difference.... 11am is check out. I run down to the vip service check in and ask for a later check out which is what you get with AMEX. Let alone with a casino booked room/suite. This woman at the desk Monday 7/27 places a binder down given me all the expenses on why they charge 100$ an hour for late check out and says welllll you could ask your casino host. I politely ask her please try contacting him because I haven't heard from him in over a week. I have to say on the Las Vegas Strip. I haven't experienced this. They are accommodating, especially when they are correcting mistakes in their property. I pile in everything to my friend's room who did get a later check out at 2pm. I do understand the difference in servicing a suite vs a room. At this point it's a 50/50 of the lack of communication as well as the treatment from employees. We go to their oyster bar and drop another 300$. Play a bit more so another 1500$lost. Brining my grand total to 13,900 for one night for just us. Adding our other guest booked rooms. We have our parties grand total to 14,500$. I must say I don't plan to visit another station property. Unlike many locals. I'll stay on the strip. Very disappointed. I really wanted to enjoy the pool at Red Rock Casino, especially after deciding to give it another chance after my previous experience, but unfortunately the service was just as disappointing. We arrived on a Wednesday, paid for daily passes, and the pool honestly wasn't even busy. After finding chairs, we watched multiple cocktail servers walk by over and over without a single greeting, acknowledgment, or "I'll be right with you." After almost 20 minutes, I gave up and was about to walk to the bar myself when I noticed Alicia taking an order behind our chairs, so I asked if that was her section. She said yes and told us she'd be with us shortly. Another 15 minutes passed... and nothing. When she finally came by, she seemed rushed, asked if we were ready to order, and there was zero introduction, no friendliness, no menu suggestions, nothing that made us feel welcomed. I actually had to get her name off the check because that was somehow the one thing she managed to come back quickly for multiple times. The service here is honestly terrible. I work in the industry myself, so I understand busy days and hard work, but this wasn't that. I watched guests literally chasing down servers all day. The staff here acts like customers are inconveniencing them by wanting service. No personality, no attentiveness, no effort to create an enjoyable experience. It's confusing because good pool service is exactly how you make money in this industry. At this point, I think I'll spend my money at another pool in Vegas where guests actually feel welcomed. read more

Red Rock Casino is a beautiful Casino that Locals Love. It has that sophisticated charm about it but it also has that Family feel as well. This is one of the Local Casino's that has Kid's Quest, as well as an amazing Movie theater for the kids to enjoy! And the adults has the Gambling aspect, the Sports book, Bingo, Keno, the amazing high end restaurants and great shows. A beautiful casino that used to be the flagship of the Station Casino chain. I believe the Durango has taken its place as the key casino. It's still nice to visit, although I haven't been back in quite a while. The casino is huge and packed with a wide variety of slot machines. The sportsbook is fairly large but it is showing its age. It has served as the model for the new sportsbook at the Sunset Casino with an almost identical layout. What's great about placing a bet at a Station Casino is that you can cash your ticket at any of their locations. Boyd Casinos forces you to cash in tickets at the location where the bet was placed or mail in your ticket via registered mail. William Hill also allows you to cash in at any casino who is part of their group. My favorite slot machine at the Stations continues to at least let me play for an extended length of time so I can pad my comp points even if I don't make a profit. Many of the older restaurants have been replaced so if you had an old favorite, you'd better check to see if it still exists. The buffet that was once a huge draw has been taken out I'm not sure that was a wise move. Many patrons now go to other casinos and don't spend their gambling money there anymore. I was only able to spend a few hours there since we were dropping off some people and getting them checked in. I'm impressed that he's acquired VIP status with Station Casinos and receives prior entry to restaurants and hotel check in as well as VIP access to a reserved section of the parking lot. It's still worth driving out to Summerlin to eat, play, or stay at Red Rock. Much less of a hassle than dealing with casinos on the Strip. Check it out if you've never been read more

Over the years this has become one of our favorite casinos in Las Vegas. Easy location to get in and out. Free parking. Nice area with a lot of shopping choices around it. My dad lives in between this and the South Point, so we often split our time these days between the two. Some favorites here are The Lucky Penny and the Yard House for food. Great service, food, and atmosphere at both. We love the sportsbook area and both my wife, and I have signed up for player's cards. She had some free slot play on hers this last trip, so I sat down at the machine next to her and played a quick $5. Mine turned into $65 really fast so I cashed out. She flipped her $5 into $20 and cashed out as well. Not bad for a quick 30 minutes. They also have a great gift shop here, a couple of Starbucks for drinks for the road, a theater, arcade, and many more attractions we still need to check out. read more

I've been visiting Red Rock Resort for years. I first came as a guest shortly after the movie 21 came out, returned a year later because I loved it so much, and now visit regularly as a local to enjoy everything it has to offer--from great dining and top-tier entertainment to excellent restaurants and the relaxing spa. As of this writing, Red Rock is running several great discounts and specials for locals, including staycation deals and spa packages. They also still have the classic $5.99 burger and fries special. Over the last few years, we've made our way through nearly everything the resort has to offer: the Rouge Room, T-Bones, Lotus of Siam, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Lucky Penny, and Regal Cinemas. This trip, we treated ourselves to massages at the spa and arrived an hour early to enjoy the facilities. After checking in at the front desk, you're escorted to the gender-specific side, where first-timers receive a quick tour. You're given a locker, robe, and sandals. The women's and men's areas each feature a wet sauna, dry sauna, spa pool, cool-down pool, and rain showers, plus a comfortable waiting lounge. The co-ed side includes a yoga studio and a beautiful outdoor saltwater pool with plenty of loungers, tables, and cabanas. You can order food and have it brought right to your spot poolside. What I love most about Red Rock is that it truly has everything you could want--dining, entertainment, shopping, and relaxation--all in one beautiful resort. I love the scent that you smell when you first step into the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa, especially near the registration desk. IIRC Green Valley Resort has a similar scent. Great job to whoever from Station Casinos picked that scent. The rooms are modern and comfortable for working or relaxing. The bed is soft/firm, and super comfortable. The room has plenty of outlets for charging phones and computers and cameras etc. The room service options are amazing - I was honestly impressed with the New York Strip steak (dinner portion) I ordered. The shrimp cocktail had an amazing presentation, and they used huge shrimp... the cocktail sauce and horseradish both had a great flavor. The horseradish was creamy and not too strong... BUT! This dish was $18 so I expected more than 4 pieces of shrimp, even if they were huge shrimp, and photogenic. Cmon man. 18 dollars for that! There are several good food options inside RedRock Casino. I was there for a "work trip staycation" because I got booked to shoot a PR campaign nearby in the Red Rock Canyon area. We booked several rooms and ate at Red Rock Casino every day/night. Lucilles BBQ is a good option for those looking for something hearty but casual. Order the beef ribs. Hearthstone has a more upscale feel, with beautiful atmosphere (the ambiance and the hostesses were both fire), especially around dinnertime/sunset. They had really good appetizers, but the standout here is the Prime Rib. Order that! Yard House is good too, for a casual meal... esp for those who drink beer. I don't. Family road trip to Vegas! The Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is honestly a nice hotel. My cousins held their wedding here. My family and I checked in here mainly because we were given a group discount for my cousin's wedding. We booked 3 rooms and requested for 2 of them to be connected and the other room to be located next door. Check-in is at 15:00, and check out is at 11:00. We arrived a little before 15:00. We were thankful that our rooms were ready a bit early. They were able to accommodate connecting rooms, but one room was a door away. The rooms were spacious and clean with basic amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tissues, vanity kits, and towels. We were given fresh towels on our second day. The housekeepers were quick and efficient. We asked for a few more bath robes because there were only two robes provided in each room. The front desk agent over the phone was hesitant to provide us more bath robes for whatever reason and stated she'll have to speak to her Housekeeping Manager first .. over bath robes?? I thought it was odd that she made a big deal because the robes were considered a free amenity. The alcohol and snack bar were not complimentary of course. The note clearly states that if an item was removed for more than 15 seconds, then it will be charged to the room. I did not like that the mini fridge was stocked with overpriced alcohol and drinks. There was no other fridge provided in the room, so we couldn't store any leftover food or drinks we had. Other than the hotel rooms, the resort had many dining options like Starbucks for your quick coffee fix, fast food for late night bites, desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth, fine dining for date nights, and bars to grab a cocktail. There was live entertainment at the bar as well. There's also more dining options and shopping at the plaza located across the resort. The casino is huge with tables and slot machines everywhere. I appreciated the signage and arrows because we often got lost. For family friendly activities, they have a bowling alley and a movie theater. Service was quick & efficient. Majority of everyone we encountered was courteous. Check out was easy. My biggest advice is to take videos and photos of the snack and alcohol bar to have proof nothing was used or taken. We were emailed our billing on the day of departure. A day after checking the billing, we noticed we were charged $15 for an amenity from the snack bar we did not take. My aunt called the hotel to dispute the charges. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There's many entertainment, so we never got bored. There's endless dining options, so we were never hungry. We splurged on the Signature Suite with the king signature bed -- which typically starts around $499-$509 per night for that suite style (so three nights was a lovely weekend treat!) -- and every dollar felt worth it. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere and vibe -- sophisticated but warm, stylish without feeling stuffy. This is my local casino and resort that we frequent mostly for dining. It has a good selection of restaurants that range from expensive steakhouse to fast casual sandwiches. There's something for every taste bud and budget. I have stayed and visited friends at the resort a few times, mostly when out of town family and friends are in town, and once we did a family staycation just for the pool in very hot July. It was great! There is a large gaming floor if you feel like donating to the city and there's also a bowling alley and movie theater. This place really has it all. read more

The most exciting thing to do yesterday was to go to Red Rock Casino and try The Cheese Store Of Beverly Hills Pop Up. WOW! I am so lucky that I went extra early. Our local newspaper (The Las Vegas Review Journal) posted the WRONG HOURS (12-5) for this event that took place 11-4. I got there about 10:30 and I still had to wait about an hour to get in and order. Once inside at the time I went there was plenty of cheeses to try. They also served fancy crackers and some lunch meats. After about an hour we finally got to order. My husband was going to order extra food for another time but everything was pre-made and nothing could be special ordered. I was surprised that they weren't selling cheeses. Anyways we tried a sandwich and a Jidori Chicken Caesar salad. They didn't have any seating so we strolled to the food court to find a table. When I opened ur to go I noticed that they DIDN"T give us any napkins and they didn't GIVE A FORK to give me a fork for my salad. The food was ok but could have been better. The sandwich bread was good but the sandwich seemed like it might have been made yesterday? The filling was squashed hard together and didn't have that fresh sandwich texture to it. My husband thought that the provolone cheese seemed like not the best. So the sandwich was ok. I had the Jidori Chicken Caesar Salad. It was OK. It was well sized but seemed like an average chicken Caesar salad. I saw our local Food Critic's pictures from this same event. Latter in the event many more goodies were brought out for sampling. My husband got mad when he saw the pictures because we went treated the same. My husband and I love staying at Red Rock Casino and Resort whenever we are in Las Vegas. It has become one of our go to hotels, and one of our favorite activities here is playing bingo together. Huge shout out to Michelle and Eron for being such amazing bingo hosts. They are always friendly, welcoming, and consistently provide top notch customer service. They make every session fun. We stayed for 2 nights and overall we had a great time! I was hesitant to stay off the strip, but I enjoyed it. We stayed here for the proximity to Red Rock Canyon. Check in was a breeze and we were able to get a closer room to our friends. Rooms were nice and clean. I would avoid a connecting room as the room we were in had a bigger bathroom. Is it fair to give this place a 1 star because they took a lot of my money that day? Probably not a fair review. This on the west side of vegas near Summerlin. I'm a craps player and this is still afforable even though $15-$25 dollar tables does not fit my budget. They do have stadium craps which is like virtual better with live dice that can be rolled. The only thing you have to deal with is they move fast and rolling the dice with lots of bumps when you roll them. You can't roll them across or else dealer will warn you to hit the wall over and over again. Lucky Penny is there 24/7 diner that you can eat from and at 12 they have their version of steak and eggs special. I really like how they have activities you can do with the kids during the day such as bowling , movies , arcade, pool, walking distance shopping center and kid friendly foods in the food court such as Panda Express and wing stop! Seeing RED I was a guest of the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa for 2 nights (3/6 - 3/8) in March 2025.. We thought it might be nice for a change of scenery (away from the bright lights and crowds of The Strip), and decided to stay off strip. We also watched a video from vlogger Travel Ruby which helped us make this decision. NOTES 1. Free parking! Aside from the West and East parking garages, there's also uncovered parking in the lot(s) surrounding the resort. Pro Tip: The East garage is closer to the hotel lobby and elevators (Yes, we learned this the West way). 2. There are 2 Starbucks on property: 1 on the casino level near the entrance to the East garage, and the other near the food court. 3. There is no convenience type store (like an ABC store) on the premises; though there is a small store near the lobby elevators (casino level) that has soda, water, and chips among other thing........yes, souvenirs too, of course. 4. The hotel is not far from Downtown Summerlin. Check-in was efficient and seamless thanks to the competent staff member that assisted us. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that parking in the West garage was the wrong choice (we literally gambled and lost on our choice, parking roulette anyone??). HOTEL AMENITIES 1. Food Court 2. Bingo tournament room 3. Movie theatre 4. Bowling Alley 5. Spacious pool area with bar and multiple hot tubs. 6, Multiple restaurants located throughout the resort. Rest assured, one will not go hungry. ROOM AMENITIES / absent amenities 1. Spacious bathroom.....there was a tub! The shower pressure was awesome too. 2. The room was spacious.....quite spacious; more than I expected. 3. Flat screen tv 4. There was a chaise lounge situated near the window with pool view. 5. No fridge in room (no fridge was very disappointing honestly). 6. No coffee maker in room (we thought this was purposeful so guests would visit Starbucks daily). During our stay, we gambled a bit, visited the donut shop, ate at the food court, contemplated watching a movie, and relaxed in the hot tub on a chilly morning. The pool area is very spacious, and I wish we could have enjoyed it more (we decided to cut our pool day short as it was a cold morning in early March). Lastly, we liked the food so much at the 8 Noodle Bar restaurant that we ate there twice. Order the signature pork fried rice.......you'll thank me later. BOTTOM LINE Overall, a decent 2 night stay at Red Rock. With so many resort amenities and food choices, one never has to leave honestly. My family love this place. Got introduced to stay here by a friend of ours and since than it has been our go to when we visit Vegas cause I'm tired of staying on the strip. Tons of restaurants to eat tons of table and slot games and for the kids they have a kids club and movie theater and bowling alley! This is the real definition of a resort! It feels like an all inclusive resort from all the amenities it has and don't get me started on the rooms. The rooms are nice and clean and MODERN. I cannot stress the modern part enough as a lot of the hotels on the strip is still very old school vibe to it that hasn't changed since I was a kid. The atmosphere was such a vibe. Think dark, moody, and effortlessly luxurious. The deep red velvet lounge chairs, softly dim lighting, and overall aesthetic made it feel sexy without trying too hard. They had a DJ, a dance floor, and an outdoor patio overlooking the pool, so there was a little bit of everything. It wasn't overly crowded either, which I actually loved because you could still have a conversation without yelling. Second time staying here this year and it won't be our last. Red Rock is part of Station casinos and has everything you need from food to entertainment to plenty of game options all year round. A bowling alley, movie theater, oyster bar, pool, etc. It's off strip but you get free parking. You'll see mostly locals so it's not rowdy. We got connecting rooms to connect the family with one king and two queens. My favorite would be the bathroom because it's large with two sinks and a tub for the kiddos. For us adults, we loved the lounge area by the lobby with the huge grand chandelier to wind down and listen to live music. The kids loved the pool. There are 9 pools, one of them being the main and 2 of them being the jacuzzi. The main pool has a slope that's shallow where the children could play. There was a pool attendant that asked for our room key to verify our stay and checked our bags for no drinks. We had sippy water bottles for the kids and said that was fine. All chairs were up for grabs unless it had a "reserved" sign. The fridge has sensors if you remove an item, you'll get charged. Same for the items on the desk. You need your room key to access the elevators. read more

Wow, I was really blown away by the dining options here! It's a shame the main pool with the fountain was so chilly though. Honestly, for the price we paid, you'd expect it to be a bit warmer. It was definitely not a pleasant experience when trying to swim. Hopefully, they can fix that for future guests! Slots looser then others. Nice being off the strip! But dont book during spring break, 1000 of kids. Didnt even know kids were allowed in a casino. Make sure you book in the fall. read more

Clean and nice rooms with beautiful views, comfortable beds, fun for the kids at the movie theater and bowling alley and pool, and great service from the staff. We liked the breakfast at Lucky Penny and the spa is lovely too. This is a great family-friendly hotel if you want to stay away from the strip. Thank you, Red Rock! read more

This is a "locals" hotel & casino. It's nice and has a lot of restaurants, as well as things to do. It's close to shopping and Red Rock Canyon. The room was nice, though very noisy. You can hear your neighbors and people in the hallway. read more

We had an awesome time at Red Rock! Our car club reserved a private room for bowling one evening while we were at LV. The employees assigned to our event were fabulous! Very friendly and accommodating. The food we had was really good! Much more so than we were expecting for a bowling alley. The chicken tenders were the best I have ever eaten. Love the Summerlin setting, right next to a wonderful mall and the casino has everything conveniently right there. Great food court and bars with comfy seating and friendly bartenders. Ate lunch at the Yard House and dinner at TBones steakhouse. Stayed a couple nights in a suite which was spacious, modern and clean. No coffee maker in the room but there's a couple Starbucks in the hotel and one is right near the lobby. We had spa treatments which were great and so was their private spa area with a nice warm swimming pool where we were able to swim and chill after our massages. Only slight negative was the poolside service was pretty bad. The waitress passed me multiple times not even slowing down to ask if I needed anything (I did!!) her ignoring me was rude/weird and I ended walking up to the bar to get my drinks...She ended up stopping to service people on both sides of me (one lady complained to her that she was overcharged) but never acknowledged me nor did she ask if I need another drink or anything. I didn't let that ruin my trip because the rest of it was great! It would have been a 5-star rating if it wasn't for her terrible service. read more

Came out to Vegas to visit friends and ended up at The Lucky Penny at Red Rock for their late night specials--so glad we did! Our server, Kim, was absolutely amazing. She made the whole experience so much fun with great conversation about why we were in town and our sightseeing plans. It felt like catching up with a friend rather than just being served. Kim was incredibly attentive (seriously, never an empty glass!), super outgoing, and truly went above and beyond. She turned an already great trip into something extra special. I was here for a conference and was happy that it was not on the strip. The strip is fine but ... in small doses. The is a pretty nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was well equipped and so was the gym. The conference arrangements were great. I had a great stay overall from when Phillip who picked me at the airport to the great restaurants to when I left. Would recommend this if you want a more relaxed Vegas experience. read more

Horrible experience. First night I got stuck in the bathroom cause the door wasn't opening properly and on top of that the lock was broken. Second night I found a spider on my bed and got moved to a new room but it wasn't even better than the last room. Found HAIR in one of the beds and bathroom door was broken. VERY DISAPPOINTING. This one star is only for the Polaris Bar at the Red Rock Hotel and Casino. The bartender Eddie was so unprofessional, rude, incompetent and amateurish. First, I asked Eddie for 20 dollars in change. Then I ordered sugar-free Red Bull and a glass with ice. This guy took his sweet time, and I had to ask him twice. Then he tells me you already asked me three times for it. After that, he goes to his buddies who work probably at Red Rock after their shift to badmouth me for asking him for that $20 in change and for my gesture of tapping the money on the counter. Well, this unprofessional thing left a bad taste in my mouth during my visit. I was caught by surprise. Everybody in Red Rock is so nice and friendly, except the bartender called Eddie at Polaris Bar on Sunday night. read more

I've been here before and this is my first review. Honestly, I think this place is the best casino off the Strip. I also like Durango, maybe because it's newer and also pretty nice. Red Rock did it right for the overall premium resort in Summerlin. read more

We are locals and my husband is a chairman player. We go to bands frequently at Rocks lounge. They now make you pay minimum 100$ to reserve a table because Phoenix is playing. They blocked off the top so you can't stand to watch either. I hope they make plenty tonight because we won't spend anything there anymore. read more
