What an unbelievable team! We use them for our entire family- from root canals, to fillings, to cleanings for adults and kids (ages 3 and 6). They are impeccably clean and have great COVID precautions (wash your hands upon arrival, rinsing with hydrogen peroxide). The staff is professional, kind, and thoughtful. They assuage your nerves and have a very spa vibe about the place. Our previous kids' dentist office was a "kids dentist" but this one doesn't have a TV or kid-friendly images on the walls. That almost dissuaded me from taking my kids here but the dental hygienist was amazing with both of my kids!!! She explained everything in fun, kid-friendly terms, encouraged them to ask questions, and let my 3 year old sit on my lap for the whole procedure. For my 6 year old, I was in the room the entire time except for X-rays. They are really a fabulous practice with great people and services available! read more

When Dr. Parisa Safaei took over Dr. Lynch's office on Burrill St., I was missing my front right incisor and had a bridge to fill the space. By the time I realized how negligent and mercenary Red Rock Dental was, I had no front teeth and had spent thousands. Under Dr. Safaei's dubious care I suffered with a dysfunctional replacement bridge, two misfit partials, two botched extractions, a double root canal, and a torn sinus. I had paid for multiple crowns, cementings, X-rays, and at this point, other questionable procedures. When they told me all my teeth would be pulled, I found a reliable dentist. After a remedial root canal and twelve thousand dollar surgical implants, I can eat properly again. I still have half my teeth left, at least, and suffer no more infections. Newton is Dr. Safaei's main office, so Swampscottonians you are only a secondary concern. This place is a five star failure. read more

This dental office is a beautiful, clean space. Everyone there is friendly and nice. Mostly, my dental work was fine. So why two stars? First, repeatedly, this office would mix up the records of members of my family. There are eight of us with the same last name, but there must be at least that many Smiths or Browns, and this is a professional practice. My father in law would get reminder calls for his son's appointment, and no one would catch it until he was in the chair. They would call me by my neice's name, and have her record up on the screen until I pointed it out (she's a child, with braces: I'm adult without- not easy to mix us up). This was annoying at first but the more it kept happening, it started to worry us. Then, one of my fillings completely came out after 18 months. I called them to complain, and apparently fillings are only guaranteed for a year. (I mean really? Shouldn't they last longer than that?) I no longer had dental insurance, and here I was with a massive, painful hole in my tooth. But, to their credit, they agreed to fix it for free since 18 months was a short life for a filling. When I got to the appointment, however, she began the procedure without any numbing. I think trying to reduce costs or time? I had to ask to get numbed. For a filling! Those suckers are painful. Then a month later, I get a bill from them in the mail, for the procedure they agreed to cover. The filling still isn't right, I have constant pain in that tooth, but I've found a new dentist to fix it because I just don't trust them. read more

Dr. Safaei is lovely, but Jillian, the hygienist who spent nearly 2 hours with me, was amazing! She was super knowledgeable, funny, endearing, and kind. I am a nurse, so working in healthcare my standards are high. This office is clean, efficient, and friendly. I am also completely confident that they are on the cutting edge when it comes to patient privacy and electronic charting and record keeping. In the 20 plus years of her dental care I have never had a dental issue outside of a cavity needing to be touched up after being put in 40 years ago. I recently went to a dentist for a problem I was having with a crown , Was informed the tooth had an open margin .The dentist explained what an open margin is. And stated the crown needed to be replaced. So I contacted Red Rock Dental in Swampscott who performed the dental work back in 2014 for the crown I am having issues with. When I made the appointment just a half hour later I got a call from the dentist telling me we are cancelling your appointment. They wanted to bump my appointment weeks away and knew I was having severe pain when I told them. What they didn't tell me and what I heard from a new doctor is that they can decline me the service because the tooth was done 4 years ago. The new dentist is telling me that the crown needs to be replaced. I will have to pay $698.00 out of my pocket. Why should I pay a fee for a mistake the dentist and lab are responsible for . This is not the first time I had an issue with Red Rock dental and had to go back to have additional work done to remedy work they have previously done. Dr Safaei made it clear they are only concerned about getting paid and not the comfort of the patient. Dr Safaei stated out loud in the office you have MASS HEALTH and they are not going to get paid for the recall work. Dr Safaei clearly made comment about my insurance status and made every attempt to embarrass me. Overall I do not intend to go back to Red Rock dental or recommend the dentist to anyone read more

Dr Safei is an amazing dentist! I have severe dental phobia and truly despise going to the dentist, even for a general checkup. Parish was very kind and patient and made me feel at ease. I needed a crown, and it was done painlessly and without any anxiety in under an hour. Unfortunately, I could not get the permanent crown right away and had to delay getting the final crown cemented for almost two years, which is not recommended. However, when I went back to Parisa to get my permanent crown put on, the temp that she had made two years before had remained perfectly intact and the permanent crown still fit perfectly!! I was so happy! I would definitely recommend Dr Safei to anyone looking for a great dentist, she has been mine for years and I always get compliments on how great my smile is! read more

Was told I needed four new back teeth several years ago. Dr. Safaei would space out work to make insurance work. They messed up the 1st crown, which is not big deal, because accidents happen. Went to new dentist who told me I didn't need any new teeth. I feel like I took my car for an oil change and mechanic told me I need a new transmission and engine. I still have the three remaining teeth she was going to replace and have NO issues with them. Also, she had appt with my daughter to fix a cavity... new dentist told us none was needed. read more
