One recommended we drive into Teec Nos Pos to the Trading Post. Teec Nos Pos is everything you want it to be and more. A museum, a butcher, a convenience store, a drugstore, an art gallery, a library, a gas station. It's the most happening place for miles. You can still buy music on CASSETTE TAPES! You can buy Cactus Cooler in the can! Medicinal herbs in baggies prepared by a medicine man for all sorts of ailments. The real treat is, make sure you're not too muddy, and go in the artist room. You will see color ways, rugs, jewelry, all hand made by local artisans. We bought a gorgeous color way for a very fair price. We got to see the community coming in for gas and snacks. It was probably one of my favorite moments of our entire trip.

Trekking a major road trip on motorcycles (3400 miles) and we can't afford to put anything less than 91 gas in our tanks. I didn't know about this Sinclair gas stop on the same road til I walked inside & a local told me about it. What a relief! About 10 miles in between both gas stations. They are absolutely correct…read more The store here has food pantry items, including for baby, lots of snacks that are a pricey, sodas, water, hot and cold coffee, slushy beverages, sandwiches in the cooler, some automotive items, some toys, etc. Besides bathroom, gas and food, they have compressed air and a car vac. A picnic table and replica dinosaur (the Sinclair logo) are to one side of the parking area. We made this stop between Four Corners Monument and Albuquerque, NM.
