The young lady working the pro shop was very nice, as were the bartender. The course could only use 2 improvements. The first one, would be to cut the grass a little shorter. The second one would be to put water stations out on the course. The course is fairly wide open, do you can miss shots and still be in play on the hole. Overall. I had a pretty fun time out there. I have played at all of the courses in our area and beyond. I've never been turned away because of cargo shorts. And they also told my friend that he has to tuck in his shirt. I always practice good golf etiquette. This was disappointing. I personally willing to pay $100 for a round of golf should not be turned away because of having pockets on the side of their shorts. The course is beautiful, phenomenal views of the lake and foliage this time time of year. The course is not overly long, but a few dog legs and strategic tree placement makes the course challenging. The course is in phenomenal condition, the staff takes amazing care of the course. The country club has a snack bar with sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs etc. There is a full service restaurant with a great chef as I understand. There are tennis courts and many activities.
