My friend and I heard a commercial that the endless shrimps at red lobster were back and we were excited to go and give it a try. I haven't been to Red Lobster in over two years.. when we arrived we were greeted by the hostess at the front door who was very pleasant . She stepped away to go and find us a table. When she return, we let her know that we noticed that the football game was on at the bar and decided to sit at the bar instead.. we took our seats at the bar said hello to the bartender who respond " hi" and than sat there for about 5 minutes, which felt like forever because we were hungry and ready to eat. Finally, she walks over to us and says. " are y'all waiting on a table or do you wanna order a drink?" we responded " we would like to sit here and eat and watch the game" she asked a few more questions back-and-forth, which came off a bit, passive aggressive, giving us the impression that if we wasn't ordering alcohol, she really didn't want us to sit at the bar and eat. So we let her know that we had a glass of wine before coming and wanted to continue drinking wine. She said they didn't have any wine.. SMH, so we said OK we'll have margaritas. It really gave the impression that she did not want us to sit there. Her tone, body language and facial expressions was not pleasant.. We let her know that we wanted to do the endless shrimps and she told me that they didn't have such a promotion and that it was already over. I let her know that we recently heard the commercials, and in fact the promotion had recently started. She stepped away and came back with a triangle menu, saying OK here and set it there for us to choose the shrimp dish we wanted , this given us the impression she really did not want us to order the endless shrimp.. When the food arrived, everything was hot and fresh . we wanted condiments, but we're a bit afraid to ask because of the attitude we had been getting from the bartender who later we learned her name was Michelle because we listen to her be rude to one of the waitresses that came up to the bar asking for change. ( the bartender never introduced herself to us so this was the first time we heard her name.) . I worked up the nerve to ask for the condiments so I could enjoy my meal. To sum things up our experience with the employees, excluding the bartender was pleasant. Our food came out prompt, hot, and fresh, Hennessy margarita was OK. . Would I recommend this Red Lobster? I feel that our experience was damper because of the attitude and intense ambience that the bartender created during our meal, we hadn't been to Red Lobster in years. We're excited to come and try the new garlic, crusted shrimps, but the bartender made us feel not very welcomed.. Saturday night about 6:30 pm. Place was busy, told hostess just 2 of us. She walked around looking for a place to seat us. Said it would be a couple minutes while a table was cleaned. I pointed out an empty booth. Service was a little slow but understandable. GF ordered all you could eat shrimp., I went with the Admiral's Feast. We had plenty of biscuits. Food was descent. Only regret was I forgot to order mine grilled. Therefore it came out fried which was okay except the fillets were thin and dry. Like every where the prices have increased. Extremely Alarming & Unprofessional: Ruined a 20th Birthday Celebration I used to vouch for Red Lobster, but after the appalling experience my family had at this location, I will never step foot in this restaurant again. We came in with six adults and three young children to celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday. What should have been a fun family dinner turned into an absolute operational disaster. Here is what happened: No Biscuits: Midway through waiting, we were told there were no signature biscuits available because the person who makes them "just decided to leave." How does a Red Lobster run out of biscuits because of one employee walking out? 2-Hour Wait & Abrupt Kitchen Shutdown: We waited nearly TWO HOURS for our food, only to be told that the kitchen had completely closed. Refused to Feed a Toddler: Due to a total breakdown in communication between the front of house and the kitchen, one of our toddlers received no food at all. When we asked if they could literally just drop two chicken tenders in a fryer and slice half an orange so a hungry child could eat, we were turned down because the kitchen was shut down. Unauthorized Food Substitutions: I ordered the $45 Lobsterfest meal. Because the kitchen closed, they randomly tried to hand me an extra order of shrimp scampi instead of what I actually ordered and paid for. Cowardly Management: The manager, Jamie Lee, was completely useless. She was visibly too afraid to come over and have a respectful conversation with a paying customer, choosing instead to hide in the back and push everything onto our waitress. The ONLY bright spot of the entire night was our waitress, Journey. She is a hardworking college student who was single-handedly running her entire section in a restaurant that was otherwise completely dead. It is infuriating that bad management forced her to take the heat for their massive failure. FORGET CRABFEST IF YOU LIVE IN CONYERS, GA!! We went to RedLobster Saturday night for my birthday. I ordered 1-1/2 lbs of my favorite food, crab legs. This was $31.99 + $12.99 for JUST the crab legs. They came out and they were beautiful, but something was missing. I had to ask for the cracker tool. "I'm sorry, we don't have any. Just use your hands." Wel, I don't know about you, but I can only crack the little ones. I said, "You've got to be kidding!" But no, they weren't! How can you serve crab and have nothing to crack them with!! I ended up bringing them home to eat, which totally screwed my birthday dinner. My husband ordered shrimp and got spoiled cocktail sauce. My sister-in-law ordered a grilled steak. This was my first Red Lobster experience. I ordered curbside and picked up my order. The service was quick and the waitress who brought my food was very friendly. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and gooey in the middle. The cod sandwich was delicious! It came with hush puppies and fries. The hush puppies were tasty, but the fries were not. The absolute last time I will ever step into a Red Lobster again!! It's officially Dead Lobster to me! I dined in with my husband and daughter around 4pm on a Saturday. I went in first to get a table. I was seated before my family came in. The waitress greeted me and was friendly. When she saw my husband and daughter her demeanor and body language changed completely. My husband and I are not the same race and our child is biracial. The service was horrible. To make matters worse the food I ordered - Shrimp Trio- made me violently ill while in the restaurant. Halfway thru my meal I had to go to the restroom. I was so sick. Table for 4 for dinner  We have not been to this Red Lobster for a few months. En route to the restaurant Wifey went online to join the waitlist.  We arrived and quickly found a parking spot in the large parking lot.  We entered the restaurant and were seated quickly.  Our server stopped by to introduce herself and advised she would return to take our orders.  She did not return as quickly as I expected.  When she arrived she took our drink orders.  I ordered the Voodoo Ranger Hazy Ipa, Wifey and my youngest daughter ordered the strawberry lemonade and my oldest daughter ordered a sweet tea.  After a few minutes, all the drinks arrived except mine. I assumed it was a little slower because it was coming from the bar.  After a while our server came by and advised that they did not have that beer anymore.  I just settled for the water I already had.  Everyone was ready to order their entrees.  Our orders were pretty much in sync.  Wifey and my youngest daughter ordered the Steamed Crabs dinner and my oldest and I opted for Shrimp Dinner.  She ordered the Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp while I split  mine between the Coconut Shrimp and the  new crispy Dragon Shrimp.  We waited for a while and the food had not arrived. I flagged down our server and asked if things were running slow.  Her response was "It has not been that long, it has only been 18 minutes". No "Apology" or "Let me go check on it" and last I checked 18 mins is a long time.  Well add on another 10 minutes and the food finally arrived.  Needless to say, the service was slow and the food that arrived was not that great.   I ordered broccoli as a side and it was overcooked and under seasoned.  My "Crispy" Dragon shrimps were more bread than actual shrimp and not "Crispy".  Wifey's Crabs were cold and we had to send them back to be reheated.  After we all finished our meals and I received the check I noticed a mysterious additional Crab dinner was added. I flagged down the person, who I thought was the manager, and explained the situation. She looked baffled and said she would track down our server.  Our server eventually came over and had the extra entree removed. I have not been in a Red Lobster in ages and not my choice this time, but anyway I ordered the admirals feast because I was familiar with it. All I can say is that it was truly disappointing. The platter was flimsy and not nearly as good as it once was. The clams overcooked and shrimp was tasteless. The waitress said I got two sides with the meal so I asked for a side salad and a baked potato, never once did she indicate that there would be an up-charge of $1.99 twice for both items. When I asked why she didn't tell me she just stood there looking stupid and and said I'll bring a manager over to explain it, and of course the manager never came, which was fine because I ended up taking it out of her tip. So I'm from Philly and I really don't get the service at Red Lobster that I got at this location Thee moment I walked in there was someone to greet me. Not just someone standing behind a desk taking my name and number and shooing me away. The wait wasn't long and we were there later in the evening on a weekend. The only thing I had to ask Seneda for was ketchup, and I didn't have to ask for that, I just didn't notice it was already on the plate. She saw our drinks low, she bought more without asking. Biscuits low, she brought out more without asking. She was nice and pleasant and served us well. Oh let's talk about the food. Good to the drop last scoop of everything. The lobster dip is a must for the table. The fried flounder sandwich was perfectly done the fish was crispy and crunchy and perfectly fried golden brown. The drinks (fountain drinks and lemonades and smoothies) were good. No after taste that some fountain drink had. I went with my family and just glad we had a pleasant time. It's ran like a well oiled machine (at least this nite). Everyone was nice, no attitudes, no slowness, and it made for an enjoyable experience. Next time I'm here I'll be back. Okay so, being pregnant and hungry and out in these streets is a dangerous combination when takeout and food prices are through the roof! And although i don't frequent chain restaurants, i had a SERIOUS craving for crab alfredo! Red Lobster came through in a clutch on this particular occasion. While i wasn't impressed with the smell of old, dirty carpet when entering, the aroma of the entrees triumphed and was quite appealing. In addition to the crab alfredo, i ordered a ton of other items that i can't remember but featured fried and grilled shrimp, some veggies, and at least one lobster tail and mashed potatoes. The feast delightfully fed me, my husband, and 2 kiddos comfortably for 2 days, although i'd skip the side of rice next time - just tasted a bit off. Overall, i would recommend the food. It's been a while so I figured let's give it another try. Went in ordered the Bardi crab was served regular crab. Bardi is bigger and has more flesh defiantly try it if you haven't; but don't try here. Server was pleasant however seemed new and a bit confused.
