His crew was also extremely courteous and friendly as well, my cat got outside and I was worried that she'd get hurt from all the work going on that they stopped and looked for her and brought her in the house for me. I hired Ilya to do metal roof on my lake cottage in red tile Spanish look…read more There are not many metal roofers and even fewer experienced and good ones. In short, Ilya and I Roof Alberta have been outstanding. He explained all options, pros and cons, costs involved and set realistic timelines (of course weather dependent). On my roof, he worked with his crew and did quite a bit of work himself. It is evident he takes pride in his work, provides excellent workmanship and does not cut corners or rush the job. There were a few sections of the roof that were rotted and he replaced the plywood - first talked to me and sent me pics. He also recommended more professional and leak proof solution for my chimney and different method and material for my very low pitched garage roof. I have tons of reno experience myself and have hired many professionals to do work for me before. I also do tons of research (mostly on the internet), plus check references and talk to people who had similar work done. I am also at the jobsite quite a bit, almost daily, and follow very closely what is being done and how. No issues with Ilya, he checked all the boxes for me. Lastly, metal roofs are great but they are also very expensive. I had several quotes and I Roof Alberta was not the cheapest but definitely nowhere near the most expensive quote. In fact I Roof Alberta was very competitive when taking into account the quality of the materials (e.g. gauge and finish of steel) and the care they take to do a very professional job.

They appear (as many things do on the internet) to be a legitimate business but this is just the surface of a huge scam. Installing a roof is generally an undesirable thing to have to do and dwight's turns into a financial nightmare. They cannot install a non-leaking roof and tend to charge you just under the going rate, so it makes it look like a bargain.
