In short, Ilya and I Roof Alberta have been outstanding. He explained all options, pros and cons, costs involved and set realistic timelines (of course weather dependent). On my roof, he worked with his crew and did quite a bit of work himself. It is evident he takes pride in his work, provides excellent workmanship and does not cut corners or rush the job. There were a few sections of the roof that were rotted and he replaced the plywood - first talked to me and sent me pics. He also recommended more professional and leak proof solution for my chimney and different method and material for my very low pitched garage roof. I have tons of reno experience myself and have hired many professionals to do work for me before. I also do tons of research (mostly on the internet), plus check references and talk to people who had similar work done. I am also at the jobsite quite a bit, almost daily, and follow very closely what is being done and how. No issues with Ilya, he checked all the boxes for me. Lastly, metal roofs are great but they are also very expensive. I had several quotes and I Roof Alberta was not the cheapest but definitely nowhere near the most expensive quote. My roof never leaked until I had Dwight's "subcontracted" roofing staff on it. Plus, get this, their solution was for me to keep crawling up into the attic to place a pan to catch the rain coming in..... WOW. Had to fix it myself.

They appear (as many things do on the internet) to be a legitimate business but this is just the surface of a huge scam. Installing a roof is generally an undesirable thing to have to do and dwight's turns into a financial nightmare. They cannot install a non-leaking roof and tend to charge you just under the going rate, so it makes it look like a bargain. You then realise you've been screwed and taking them to court as others have done is not something you normally want to add to your bucket list. So, to wrap up, avoid these clowns and tell your friends to avoid them as well. Your pocketbook and psychologist will thank you.
