I've moved into the area a few yrs ago. I don't have the best credit or background. I was having such a hard time time finding somewhere to rent that I could afford. Finally I found one very reasonably priced managed by RedKey. Since that time I have rented a couple different places managed by them and I've had nothing but positive experiences. RedKey's properties are always priced lower than the other rentals. Every unit I've rented has been clean and everything was working when I moved in. Every time I have made a maintenance request I have gotten prompt results. The entire rental process is online which makes it super easy and covid-friendly. Even when situations arise that could potentially be very uncomfortable, RedKey does what they can to minimize the pain for everyone involved. If I could give this property management stars red key would get NONE! I live right next door to a red key property and I will say this loud and clear SLUM LORDS!!!!!!!!! DO NOT RENT OR HAVE THEM MANAGE YOUR PROPERTIES AT ALL! I have contacted the management myself regarding the issues with the neighbors and the noise disturbances at 1 am in the morning! and the response from red key??? "it is a civil depute and tenants are not breaking their lease" The police are in my neighborhood every week or weekend because of this issue that has been going on for three years now! I have elderly neighbors (who are on oxygen) as well who have to deal with the issues. who have been pushed to the ground and have had several property damages to their vehicles because of these animals they let rent out the property. I have been renting from RedKey since 2019 and my girlfriend since 2020. If there is work to be done or appliances need replaced RedKey responds very quickly. Trevor and associates have always responded swiftly via the Portal and I've talked on the phone with Trevor several times which has always been a pleasant experience. Great company. Trevor has always been good to work with. I have lived in one home that was managed by Redkey and one apartment that was managed by Williams management group (now Redkey). I was late a couple of times on my rent but we got it worked out. The home I was in was old and needed lots of upkeep. Trevor's team was always fast and so nice. I think his name was Mike and the first guys was Bill and Kelley. I was able to buy a home and Trevor was very nice about me breaking my lease early and we found a new tenant. Red key took over my property about one year ago. THIS HAS BEEN AN GREAT EXPERIENCE. This team is prompt with communication have just the right amount of notices (automatic emails for payments, transfers, work orders, statements, etc). They also took over a collection and we now receive a wage garnishment for my old tenant (we only get about $100 a month but this is better than the zero I was getting). Call red key. LOVE Red Key so far. Trevor, the PM, is great to work with. I read the other reviews left hear and questioned Trevor about them when vetting him. This is the ONLY bad reviews that I could fine. Bad reviews are going to happen with any business. I couldn't sell my house because of the time of year, and googled best property managers in Tooele. The reviews here on Yelp are not the same as Google. Google has many more and, so far, in my opinion they give a better overview about the company. They have great communication, and were able to rent out my house within a week of it being listed. I rented from wmgutah many years ago. Trevor was always nice and helped us when we had problems. He took money from or cleaning deposit but it was fair. We moved back to SLC and now Tooele. We started renting again but now they are Red key and have the same manager. I recommend red key and trevor. They have good maintenance workers to. read more
