It was quite a drive from Scottsdale and the area in Goodyear didn't seem that exciting haha. There was plenty of parking and it was on a grassy dirt area in front of the stadium. Surprisingly there were a lot of Reds fans too. The stadium did feel like a new, clean and cementy stadium. Plenty of vendors lined up for food, drinks and snacks around the park. The actual concessions were not the best at all though. It was cool seeing a little baseball field that little kids can enjoy and hangout. We sat super close to the field which made it a fun experience to enjoy. Overall the stadium didn't have any character and felt like a college stadium or something. I guess I'm bias with Giants having their own stadium.

It would have been helpful if there were traffic attendants at the light because this was what took us the longest. Make sure you arrive 1 hr early so you can get food and find your seats.

Went to see the Bruno Mars Romantic Tour concert with my cousins and it was a fantastic…read moreexperience!! We sat on the floor in the 20th row and the vibe was just great!! Took awhile to get thru once we passed the security check-in and were filtering down a few levels to get to the floor. Of course there were a ton of people and we were packed like sardines but the flow was smooth and people were patient. Once we got to our seats, we got situated and Leon Thomas was already midway as the opening act. There was a slight mixup as one chair, the "30th" seat was missing on our row and we ended up moving down one seat to our left as the group with the seating issue kept trying to figure it out. Some numbers were missing on our seats but mine was visible and we could verify where we were seated. Luckily, our seat neighbors were nice people and accommodating since there seemed to be an extra seat that was empty. When we first arrived, there were some people who sat near our seats that weren't supposed to be there but you know there's always one of those so they moved. It was fun and festive. The woman in front of us with her daughter was recording the whole time as well as the lone guy next to my cousin who was doing the same and singing to EVERY SONG, LOL!! Thankfully we never had to use the bathroom as we went during dinner right before the concert. There were Porta-Pottys on the floor level inside as your bathroom. Also, you couldn't take an actual canned drink inside. Attendants had you put them in a cup unless they weren't paying attention and you had your drink in your see-thru backpack like the guy in front of me walking in. Speaking of, you need to look at bag dimensions and restrictions prior to going to the events. I looked ahead of time and brought a clear, plastic purse within the allowed guidelines/dimensions. Acoustics were great, there was never a glitch, 2 large screens on the left and right of the stage were great for folks seated far away and were a great visual for close ups even for us. Security was effective and checkpoints at the entrances went smoothly. It was a bit crazy getting out of the stadium but we got out. Getting out of the parking lot was another story. It was a long, log-jam and some vehicles were impatient and nearly hitting other vehicles just to get in the line to get out! I think the parking guides and traffic monitors could've done better in an orderly and streamlined fashion. In any case, we had fun and luckily people inside were nice and courteous. This was my 2nd concert at this stadium and am well-pleased with the ambiance. It was just the parking lot situation that needs to be more efficient. Hopefully they worked it out the next evening since Bruno played 2 nights here.

You went in circles and there was no signs set up to help you get back to the main road. Definitely looking forward to the next event

There were no hot air balloons at the hot air balloon festival. Need I say more? Well, I may not…read moreneed to, but I want to. The gates opened late. The person who showed up to open the gates late, still had not trained the volunteers on how to scan our tickets so we had to wait for her to do that before they actually allowed us in. The vendors were open, but it took us less than 30 minutes to see them all. We ordered some (over-priced) snacks and drinks, and sat at a bench to discuss how ripped-off we all felt for about 15 mins. Not one ballon? Not one vendor offering information on balloon rides? No tethered balloons just looking pretty? We asked about the balloons on the way out and were told they would be there "maybe between 3 and 6 pm." We also found out that the tethered balloon rides would probably start at 6 pm, and only on one specific balloon. So, if I wanted to wait another 5 hours I might be able to see a ballon, and I could stand in line with who knows how many other people, who had also waited for hours, for the opportunity to pay someone an additional 30.00 for a tethered ride. We decided to just end our misery early and just leave. My family spent 100.00 to get through those gates, and there wasn't one balloon to see.
