One of 4 pools
Courtney M.

Mood - Nature With all of the hustle and bustle of life this proved to be the neatest thing I have encountered in some time. There are many different hiking trails to entertain as well. Perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy nature, relax and take some amazing pictures. These hotsprings are coming from one flowing spring that has been separated into 4 different pools. I felt like Goldilocks. Testing out each pool until I found the one that was just right. One Shabu Shabu hot, others not so hot, and one that was almost cold. Over the years these springs have become something that people gather to enjoy either under the stars or during the day to take in the landscape. There have been additions added, such as steps, wooden benches, fire pit, and a porta-potty. The springs are open 24 hours. Please be mindful to pack out what you pack in as this is something for everyone to enjoy. Would def recommend - pricing is Free. Yes you read that correctly. FREE. Be sure to bring a towel that you dont mind staining up as the minerals in the mud are hard to get out of fabrics. Some spots are slippery so make sure you wear adequate shoes. If you have ATVs or OHVs def bring, as this is a paradise for off-roading. Location is 300N go east until it turns into a gravel street, follow it all the way around, and you will see it at the top on the right. - ample parking

These hot springs were easy to find. The pools are tiny and the bottom of the pools are kinda slimy and muddy. I would definitely still go again though. There is a little bathroom right next to them which is nice.

Cool vibes, great place to enjoy nature. Surprisingly clean. I would highly recommend if you are in the area. Also free!

Kelsey you were the first smile I received back in January & missed you on my way back this trip. When we pulled in yesterday Ali (Owner) & Dan were on the roof installing this awesomely & artfully designed "Ace's Place" sign. This cafe is next door We proceeded to have a fabulous dinner before heading off to the priceless Red Hill Hot Springs up the street. Our bodies fell into a sweet slumber in comfy bed at the adjacent sweet & historic Monroe Inn! I love Ali's touch, she has thoughtfully remodeled this Inn and added such personal & artistic flair throughout the Inn & Cafe. Ali remembered I wasn't fond of lights at night & unplugged the ones in backyard. Dan is the man who seems to excel at everything including cooking! I wish these hard working folks all the best because they really care. Till next time thank you for an exceptional experience!

The Inn was exactly what we were looking for to recharge and reconnect outside of the big city. The Innkeeper is so wonderful and hospitable, we loved all of the little touches-everywhere from the garden to the shower curtain. There is also a stellar little diner attached to the Inn. We found the chef to be extremely passionate about his cooking and the labor of love that is the Monroe Inn. It seemed like everyone we encountered was passionate about the Inn and the beautiful little town. So many people were working together to make the Inn and its diner just the most relaxing, beautiful, and enjoyable experience. We fell in love with this sleepy little town and can't wait to go back.

The close location to Capitol Reef Park and mountain views from this hotel are perfect. The room…read morewas clean and comfortable. Onsite restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a BBQ restaurant across the street. There are several hotel-like sections with either a parking lot view or the mountain view in the back. There are also small cabins, teepees and covered wagons to rent. It was chilly and windy at night in May, so I was glad we had a room with a window heater that worked well. The room's windows opened which was nice for fresh air. Some rooms have better chairs to sit to admire the mountain view; ours had a cushioned metal chair like you would see in a banquet facility, but I thought it was a thoughtful touch to be able to sit outside our room to sip a coffee and admire the view. The room had a sofa and coffee table and wet bar with a Keurig coffee maker with Starbucks coffee which was a nice touch (instead of generic or cheaper coffee) and a generous supply of creamer/sweetener packets. Mugs and paper cups were provided. Refrigerator (no freezer}, and microwave. Lots of room on the bathroom sink. Toilet and bathtub/shower in a separate room. I can't remember if it was this hotel or another one where the bathroom fan in the toilet/shower area would run for a pre-determined time even if you shut off the switch - just let it run. There was a slightly annoying curtain between the bathroom area and the bedroom which was pulled back but still hung down on the top. It was to provide privacy if you were changing in the sink area which would be nice if you had a family or friend you are traveling with. Shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, soap (rather drying to the hands), hand/body lotion, mouthwash, Q tips, a dark makeup washcloth were provided. Two luggage racks and extra blankets in the closet. The room looked a bit dated and had a Southwestern theme, but it was clean and comfortable. We had room 406 at the very end of the hotel building section next to the covered wagons. It took about 5 minutes to walk to the main building with the restaurant. Pool was 3 - 9 feet and the hot tub was deep and felt wonderfully hot. Wooden steps up to the hot tub. There was a closet filled with towels which was really nice. Fitness center. Outdoor gas firepits and chairs. To get heat, it was better to sit where the wind was blowing but it also blew the gas smell. It was a bit too windy and cold to enjoy so we didn't stay long. Breakfast (not included) was fresh and hot, scrambled eggs perfectly cooked. Small gift shop with some snacks on-site. The front desk receptionist greeted me every time I walked in and was nice in our interactions/questions. You would reserve llama and horseback trips, but it looked like the llamas will carry the gear and lunch if you choose but not you. We drove to La Cueva Mexican two nights for dinner - good prices for the amount of food, and I loved the salsa. We stayed at the resort for two nights before going to Bryce National Park for a night then to Zion. This isn't a fancy, modern resort, but it was clean, comfortable, and had some thoughtful guest touches. We would stay here again and recommend.

Be aware however, they are small and they did not design them with any places to put a suitcase or your stuff. However, the location and views are amazing. Where this place lacked was service at the front desk. When we checked in, the girls was simply regurgitating a list of things we could barely understand since she talked so fast. Since we had the cabins, the walk to bring our stuff was quite a distance. She never offered any assistance for us. Now, we simply thought that must just be the deal, but the next day, we saw someone with a golf cart helping another family with their luggage to the cabins. Hmmmm.....we just got ignored. I do want to give a shout out to the guy at the restaurant at breakfast however. They were shorthanded and he was running around like crazy. Obviously flustered, but he handled it like a pro. He was friendly and helpful and just kept running around. I don't recall his name, but he was awesome. I would stay here again, but they just need to work on customer service at the front desk. And for goodness sake, offer assistance with luggage. This place is a big property.

We went rafting on Labor Day which is actually the last day of the rafting season. My wife mentioned that it was really difficult to get a hold of them on the phone and ended up scheduling our reservation through email. I have a feeling its because they are short handed sometimes and not able to man the office phones at all times. Our raft guide was Tylen he referred to himself as Ty. He was very friendly and he made our rafting trip down the river very fun and had a great personality. We only did the white water rafting, but they had other things available to do. Everyone in the family had a great time and we would highly recommend this adventure.

They supply life jackets and a ride up river for $18 a head. Once in the river you float about an hour & half back to their base. This time of year the river is basically a shallow canal.
