I had to pull a guest from our group just so I could get into my own room. They also refused to let my videographer up, and my maid of honor had to leave her prep to escort him. The breakfast staff the next morning was clearly overwhelmed, with one server trying to run the whole restaurant on a holiday weekend.

He was ready to help me problem solve along the way and was an incredible ally during a very trying time. As anyone who assists elderly and/or disabled folks or is disabled themselves, displacement of any kind can be scary and exhausting. Having someone help us manage inevitable obstacles was amazing. ***Quick tip for anyone with accessibility needs - there are at least two different types of accessible accommodations at Sonesta. Double check that the room you book meets your needs- if not they may have a better one available. Rookie mistake on my part, but this was an emergency situation.
