I had about a week before we flew to Hawaii for our shows and though getting the artwork to Corey and the setup times did not leave much time - after telling him the situation, he assured me he would meet the mark. I got a call the day before we were to depart and he had finished the entire order and informed me it was ready for pickup. The artwork was my own, so naturally, I would be critical but it came out better than expected. the shirts were as requested, the printing itself was pliable and not over thick or crusty feeling like ive received before from other shops. They specialize in all kinds of specialty printing for promotions. In the back, they have a good size printing operation, but they are expanding more into retail, promotional items, as seen at the front of the store. As you might expect from the name of the business, they have lots of items for dogs, such as specialty Auburn dog biscuits. The owner suggested we feed one to our Doberman, but she said she could not discern the difference between a regular dog biscuit and an Auburn dog biscuit. (The dog I mean, not the owner.) Be sure to say hi to the several pups in the store. One of them was the model for the store logo. To my surprise, they also had a good selection of Growlers, which for those who are not beer drinkers, are large thermoses for holding lots of beer. I'm pretty sure the beer is not included however. So overall, a fun place to visit for both humans and dogs. Be sure to try the Auburn dog treat and tell me what you think.

I have a musical act, a little modern and a little classic, with no real obvious symbology or visual go-to, and I wanted a striking T-shirt that did with an image what I do with sound. I contacted Dane and found him easy to work with, genuinely eager to be part of a creation, and very inspiring. I asked for a design that I could emulsify on to a silk screen and then print T-shirts from. Dane was experienced and knowledgeable with myriad media and instantly understood just what I needed. We talked back and forth about styles and fonts and such which was a fun process because of his amicable nature and deep love of creativity. He made a couple mock-ups, which we discussed and critiqued, and then he would go back to work. The end result is bad to the bone. I love it. I know that I wasn't easy to work with because I have a hard time describing art in words, but Dane found my pulse, if you will, and made a better image than I could've dreamed. He gave me a disc with the files and an original. The price was very reasonable and I was happy to pay it, in part because he communicated his progress with me so I saw the work he put into it.
