I had to go to one of my Rental properties up North in Lincoln CA, that I hadn't been to personally in about 10 years and there were some THINGS that had been, lets say unattended to. So as Landlord'ism goes I packed and stacked and discovered items tenants had left as well as got the yard back to my personal standards. Needless to say at the end of the weekend I had things I needed hauled away and disposed of! So I turn to my friends on yelp for "Dump Services" and all my fellow yelpers said Sanchez Home and Yard Services was incredible. Mind you it is Sunday at around 10:00am. I give the crew a call. I am mentally prepared for them to tell me "Dude its Sunday" or not to even answer at all. TO MY SURPRISE I get an answer from Mr. Felix himself. He asks me what I need and lets me know he will be at my place between 2-3pm (ON A SUNDAY LAST MINUTE CALL). OK so I'm impressed ... SO FAR... Time goes by as I continue getting bags loaded with trash and the like, I look at the time and its about 1pm.. I needed to take a quick run to Home Depot thinking "These guys will definitely show up at close to 3pm" THEN I get a call at 1:45 from Felix stating they were there at my home and ready! 15 minutes early, For the win! I get there and I notice 2 Truck Ready for action now I'm like WHOA These guys aren't F'n around! Felix gets out of his truck, greets me and asks what/where the job is. I show him and BOOM! He lets me know the price, tells me he has 4 guys and ensures me this job will be quick! These guys get the trucks in place set up cones in the streets and are running into position like soldiers on the beach of Normandy! I mean when was the last time you were excited and complimentary of the cleanup crew. HOWEVER Felix and his team are much more than a clean up crew..... THESE GUYS ARE A PROFESSIONAL GRADE Service ! I kid you not!!! So they get the Job DONE, they suggest things that I should keep (That I would have just tossed in my frantic state of trying to get things done) AND THEN after everything is done I look back and Mr. Felix himself has a yard blower blowing out the garage!!! WHAT ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! (I will add pics) This is over the top like I'm not exaggerating, Im not hard to please but I'm also not easily overly impressed but these professionals are the real deal. They obviously have many talents but if they perform all of their other services even a quarter of what they did for me on this job YOU WILL BE IN EXCELLENT HANDS! BOTTOM LINE..... I didn't have that many items to move since I live in a studio, but I did have some larger furniture that I couldn't move myself-- which is why I hired movers. I picked this moving company because I thought they would be extra careful with my furniture. To my surprise, 1 of the 3 men wound up damaging 1 of my wardrobes to the extent that I now need a new one, even though it was wrapped up, and injured himself in the process. The top and back popped off, the doors are uneven, the screws are exposed, the connecting pieces are out and/or missing, the wood is chipped and broken off, and the shelves don't stay up in the wardrobe. Their customer support had the audacity to only offer $45, saying the "plan" I paid for covered $0.60/lb and estimated (with no research) that the wardrobe was 75lbs. Wrong! The wardrobe is actually worth $200 and is over 100lbs, so they are already lowballing me. It shouldn't matter what "plan" I paid for; if YOU break it, YOU need to make it right and replace the wardrobe! I could have saved myself $300-$400 and a wardrobe by getting movers through Task Rabbit, which I've done in the past and had no issues with. Definitely never booking with them again. The only positive experience was the friendliness of the movers themselves.
