Having recently moved to Magna we wanted to try our new local Chinese restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with speed of service and convenient location. Portion size was generous. Highly recommended!

Picture of the current menu.

The food was great! Every one is always so entitled and believe that they are right and no one else is. I truly loved the food. When I entered the store it was clean and service was great!

First time coming here. I thought it was pretty good. Not the absolute best Chinese food I've had, but better than most! I got the generals chicken and egg rolls. The chicken tasted like it had actually been recently friend and was nice and crunchy, as well as the egg rolls. I did feel like the wait was kind of long, but there may have been a lot of phone in orders ahead of me. I would return here for sure to try something else

Really good! You get a lot of food for your money. I've been going here for years. The food taste really good I love the sesame chicken. Amazing pot stickers! And the cheese wontons are awesome

Excellent food, low traffic, fast service. The "Family Dinner for 4 special" exceeded my expectations and will be visiting again for chef's suggestions. The location has a few tables to eat, however appears to be more of an express pick up/delivery place.

The two stars are for the management, not the employees. We came in for lunch on a Saturday, and the dining room was unbearably hot. It honestly felt like eating in an indoor sauna. At first, we thought the AC was broken. After asking about it, we were told that the staff couldn't adjust the AC without the owner's approval, and the owner was out of town. I can't verify whether that's actually the policy, but if that's what happened, it's hard to understand why no one could make the restaurant comfortable for both customers and the employees working there--especially considering how hot it's been lately. That experience left a really bad impression. If saving on air conditioning was the reason, I think that's a poor decision that comes at the expense of everyone's comfort. While writing this review, I also noticed another google review from someone who said they had concerns about how management treated employees. I can't speak to their experience, but combined with what I experienced, it doesn't leave me with much confidence. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be coming back

We got our soup which was really good (hot &sour) then our food came out and the first thing we noticed was the portion sizes, the plates are huge! Great spot for some Chinese food…read more I was visiting some friends in Utah and they were really excited to take me to this restaurant. They said it was their favorite in town and that I just had to try it so I was really excited for it. When we arrived, we didn't realize, but it was prom night and so a lot of kids were dressed up in there prom outfits. Because we made a reservation, we were seated quickly. The server was really friendly and very helpful, very knowledgeable of the menu. We decided to do it, Family style and ordered a couple different things to share. We started off with an order of their Dumplings, then ordered cashew nut chicken, beef, and broccoli, and fried rice. The Dumplings were really big and fresh, so that was super good. The flavor was really nice. The cashew chicken was so good! The sauce that they used in the flavors were really good. The beef and broccoli was also yummy. The sauce with the seasonings that they chose, tasted like your traditional beef and broccoli. The fried rice was also very traditional. Definitely something you would expect. Overall, all the food had really great quality and tasted exactly how you would think so. I definitely think if you're looking for Chinese food in Utah, this is a great place to start.

We ordered 4 entrees family style to share at the table. Three dishes came out fairly quickly, but the 4th dish didn't arrive for nearly 30 minutes. Since we were all sharing the meal, we eventually ate the three dishes while waiting, and by the time the final entree arrived, the meal was basically over. When we brought the issue up to the manager, instead of focusing on customer service or finding a reasonable solution, we were met with excuses. She said, "If I take it off the bill, I have to take it off the table." That completely missed the point. We ordered the dish because we wanted it as part of our meal -- we weren't asking for it to be taken away. After making us wait 30 minutes while the rest of the table had already finished eating, the obvious customer service move would have been to acknowledge the inconvenience, comp the dish, and still let us enjoy what we ordered. Instead, Tess focused on explaining "owner policy" rather than taking care of a customer issue. After decades of loyalty to Mandarin, it was genuinely disappointing to experience such inflexible and poor customer service over something that should have been handled far better. By the way Amber our Server was great

It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall spot, but that's part of what I like about it. I've tried several dishes over the years, and I've always had a good experience with the food. My usual order is the Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp, which I get almost every time I visit. The chicken pieces are generously sized, with a nice crispiness on the outside while still being moist and tender inside. It comes with shrimp, peanuts, and a flavorful sauce that brings everything together. Despite being Kung Pao, I personally don't find it spicy. There's maybe a very mild kick to it, but I think the sauce adds more flavor than heat. The portions are also pretty generous, and depending on how hungry I am, I can usually make one order last anywhere from two to four meals. This time, I also ordered their homemade dumplings with pork, leeks, and shrimp, along with a Thai milk tea. I enjoyed the dumplings quite a bit, and they were surprisingly filling on their own. Between those and the Kung Pao, I knew I wasn't going to finish everything in one sitting, although that was partly intentional since I wanted leftovers for the next few days. The Thai milk tea was also a nice addition to the meal. What I appreciate about Mom's Kitchen is that it's been a consistently good place to come back to over the years. The food tastes authentic, the portions are generous, and there's a nice neighborhood feel to the restaurant. I've enjoyed trying different things on the menu, although I usually end up going back to my Kung Pao Chicken and Shrimp. It's a great local spot that I'd recommend checking out if you're in the area.

This tastes like mom's kitchen if mom had a high flamed gas stove. The dishes that benefited from that smoky hot wok flavor had it. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of all the dishes at the table. Green beans with garlic was so tasty, I finished the leftovers the same night, I remembered to take a photo in the takeout container. The cauliflower (I don't know the actual name but it's stir fried, spicy and comes with peppers) had wok hei and I couldn't stop eating it. Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better. If you happen to stop by the largest Costco in the world, make a pit stop here to refuel after all those steps.

Don't let the words "spicy numbing" scare you. If you like a little spice you can handle this and you'll love it. I've taken many friends and coworkers there, and very few trust me and don't order it. But once our noodles come and I let them try mine, many of them wish they had ordered it instead. I lived in Taiwan for over 6 years and this is like the little hole-in-the-wall restaurants there that no fancy (looking at you, Din Tai Feng!) can conjure up. One More Noodle House is a casual Chinese restaurant specializing in noodle dishes, including beef…read morenoodle soups. It is also listed as a Michelin Bib Gourmand, so we wanted to check it out. Came here on a Sunday evening for dinner and it was very busy. We were able to snag the last open table we saw. You order and pay at the front counter, then find a seat. Staff at the front were friendly. We ordered the Sour Veggie Beef Noodle Soup and Eggplant Tofu Dry Noodles. Our food came out pretty quickly and the portions were solid. The Sour Veggie Beef Noodle Soup was more sour than expected and lacked the depth and richness we were hoping for. We have had this dish at other places, and usually the vegetables are pickled and tart but don't impact the flavor of the broth as much. The beef was also cut into smaller pieces than we have experienced with other beef noodle soups. Texture of the beef was mixed with some tough pieces. The noodles were chewy and cooked well. We enjoyed the Eggplant Tofu Dry Noodles slightly more. They were more flavorful, although still on the lighter side. The eggplant was cooked really well and had a great texture. The noodles and tofu were okay. Overall, giving One More Noodle House a 3.5/5, but rounding down to a 3. Service is quick and portions are solid. It is self-service for cleaning up the table and putting dishes away. We had high expectations because of the Michelin Bib Gourmand designation, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. Not sure if we would return.
