We have never had to store our RV before this. All we knew was there was a problem through out the country of catalytic converter theft at storage facilities. The Bus Barn is not the cheapest storage in the area but it is seems to be the most secure. We were highly impressed with their prompt reply to our inquires and completely followed the advice given to us by the on site manager. The facility is immaculate and new. They have never flooded and survived hurricane Ian with no problems. There are cameras everywhere and each garage is double locked. A high fence completely surrounds the entire facility and each renter has their own security code. They are expanding rapidly with an eye on catering to the RV communities needs. Our tow truck driver was able to easily maneuver our RV both in and out of the facility. However the owner is planning on providing more pull through garages with 30 amp service in the future. We had electrical hook up in our storage garage. We saw no evidence of any rodents or bugs. I would highly recommend The Bus Barn which has easy access to Interstates 12, 10 and 55.

There are 2 gates, and most of the time one of the gates didn't work and was wide open. The sliding doors to enter were broken many times, lights flashing inside, and it was always super hot during the summer, spring, and even now in fall. They never ran all the air conditioners but still charged as much as other storage facilities. The facility was always filthy and the carts were terrible and had broken wheels. I wouldn't waste my $$ here. I only used this location for the convenience because of time constraints. Never again. We also had a rental at a newer facility and the difference was night and day. Now known as Red Dot....This place is absolutely terrible. DO NOT put your valuables in these…read moredumps. Not only do they have RATS, the customer service is garbage. I had an incident where a huge rat got into and died in my unit. The smell was awful along with the maggots and chewed up belongings. I was told to contact Red Dot and fill out an insurance claim. They sent a claim for Rodent and Insect damage. I filled it out and sent it back. After 3 weeks, still no answers. I tried several times to contact them and finally got someone. I was then told that they do not cover rodent or insect damage but yet they are the ones who sent me that specific claim form to fill out. You can never get anyone at the location or on the phone and when you do they are very rude and unaccommodating. I will fight this claim since I have a whole house of things in this unit and think that they should be responsible for it. I also will take all my things that I am able to keep elsewhere and not give this place another dime of my money.

My first visit wasn't very helpful. The lady at the counter pointed outside, saying all the sizes were available to look at, but there weren't different sizes available to compare. There were only two trucks of the same size, with no labels to distinguish them, and no further assistance was offered. I returned the next day and encountered a completely different crew. Every staff member I met was helpful, attentive, and quick to address my needs. Their excellent service made the experience a complete turnaround.
