I forget if it includes used books. But they are great deals. This is a Christian / religious / spiritual / inspirational bookstore. They have Bibles and a lot more. Included are children's books and children's activity stuff that you find in bookstores. Includes some books-on-tape, books-on-cd. Most books are on big pieces of plywood supported by saw-horses, so it's kind of a warehouse deal. If you shop at one store, you get a discount coupon for the other store. It goes both ways, so don't buy everything on one stop, go next door, use your coupon there, get another coupon, and come back here to finish up. If you're a book-lover or a fan of independent bookstores, you owe it to yourself to stop and browse if you are driving by on I-75. It's just 1/2 block from the Interstate highway. The other store has secular books: fiction, non-fiction, computer, children's etc. I was last here in November 2009.

Nice to see an oasis of literature. Not to mention, too, that they had a book reading listed to occur later that day. They also sell truffles, plus many different trinkets. I didn't have a problem at all finding and purchasing the book I wanted and the cashier was super nice. My issue was with the person in the cafe, hence the 2-star rating. My plan was to have a slice of quiche and start on my book. I stood at the counter for longer than I thought was necessary. The person behind the counter was making a coffee for another customer and when done, called the customer to pick up the order. Then the person proceeded to prepare another order, I assume for the folks who were sitting down waiting. Not once was I acknowledged; she walked past me at least twice without saying a word, not even eye contact. I was totally bemused! It was if I was invisible! Needless to say, after a while, I just walked out. No more cafe' visits for me! Subpar customer service at best. :-(

It has your Starbucks café inside, as well as your customer service desk, children's area, and the like. I passed by this past weekend to get some books. Lately I've been obsessed with the Bridgerton books, and well, it being Tallahassee, it made much more sense to get them at a bookstore over Amazon. Much quicker! Not to mention, too, that they recently changed their membership program, and being the bibliophile that I am, you know I'm a member. I should also add that their app is super convenient in that it tells you if they have books available. You can also order them for pick-up, but I chose to go there instead and peruse. I somehow limited myself to what I went for, but I admittedly was tempted to purchase a book by Isabel Allende. Next time I'm sure, next time.

When you have kids that read a lot, this is the place to go for them to find more entertaining books and subject matters that they like. I'm a chef and I always go through the cookbooks and magazines to get new ideas for me and just love coming here with the family to load up on reading material. Although I do download audiobooks, collecting some sets is something I've always done with the kids from Harry Potter to the latest story, they have it here! Recently I saw the TV show and I was so hooked that I finished the series in a span of days, which is saying something as I much prefer books to TV. That said, when I found out that the TV series was based on a book series I just had to get my hands on the books. I chose to start off with the first two and I ordered from this and another place, figuring whichever got to me first would be where I would get the books and the second place, well, I'd have my order canceled. True to my word, I did just that and came in to pick up my books. Imagine my surprise at how large the bookstore was. It even has a coffee shop. I'd have spent more time there, but my companion was in a rush, so picked up my books and wound up buying a card and that was that.

However the prices are ridiculously high compared to online retailers like Amazon. I love the atmosphere and experience of shopping in person but it's hard to justify the higher prices for the same books that I could get delivered to me. Great store, just wish the prices were more reasonable.
