Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews but personally, I thought this was one of the better seafood places to eat. They boiled love crawfish and not heated crawfish like the others in town. Crawfish had seasoning all the way through. read more

Updating review because we came here last weekend and it was just not the same. They changed their menu and no longer have the combination fried rice. Their credit card machine wasn't working so they handed us the phone scanner. They charged my husband's credit card 20$ for using a card! Food was very good but I would definitely recommend using cash when you come here. read more

The food here is absolutely amazing.!! My favorite is sack #2 with crawfish and Crab legs. The sauce RCB and FIRE!! omg the best seafood ever! Everything tastes so fresh. I've tried crawfish at crab city and I realized that red crab actually cleans their seafood. Others just cook and send out as is. Servers and bartenders are super friendly. I wanted crab legs, and the cheapest offer for crab legs ( 1 cluster , and shrimp) was 45.00. And went ahead and got it. But I won't be going back. It isn't worth the price at all. Service was ok. The food here at red crab is great with some dam good seasonings but it's very pricey. My wife and I got the date night and was never offered the drinks. Doors to outside next to the restrooms and patio are intentionally left open not sure why and flies galore!!! It's sad to pay so much for a dining experience and have to shew flies away. To top thinks off waitstaff isn't great either as I'm choking down food lol, the server didn't check on us regularly. And my wife and I had to share scissors and leg cracking utensils because the server said they didn't have any more. Story we got when asking was that the servers had to provide their own tools to customers. Overall food is great if you can look past the bull crap. read more

Terrible service and even worse food! It was an overall bad experience. We saw multiple people be seated and just leave after getting their drinks. We should have followed them out the door. But we still have them a shot. Starters (fried pickles and mozzarella sticks) small portion of pickles not that bad but the ranch was sour, mozzarella sticks blew hot grease all over my hands when I bit into them. I requested to try the broil sauce to see which I wanted. They were TERRIBLE! I am the kind of person to throw down big money for good food. Ok, first and foremost, my girlfriend and I frequent this place often. This last time, about a week ago, left a bad taste in my mouth. We ordered 2 pounds of King Crab legs, yes i said TWO pounds. I'm 54 years old and have been eating crabs almost my entire life. So when they brought our order out I immediately saw it was only one pound, with only 3 legs!! Server downplayed it and said it was accurate. I got a Mgr and she didn't believe me so she went and got a scale. Scale read 1.46. Look at that! NOT 2 pounds. She goes into the kitchen, comes out with a whole other pound and apologizes, says they made a mistake in the kitchen. No they didn't make a mistake, they tried to pass off a pound as two and didn't think I would notice! DO BETTER RED CRAB! Such foolery is unacceptable! Went here during the soft opening after waiting almost a year for them to open. Drinks were good ( over priced like most in Odessa). The RCB bread appetizer was very good. The wife ordered the fish basket we both thought it was good. My crab bag came out almost 20 minutes after the wife's plate. It was worth the wait, probably the best crab place in Midessa. Prices were about the same as any other seafood place here. The 4 star review is due to how loud the live band was. It was overwhelming. The staff was even asking the band to turn it down because they could not communicate with each other but they didn't. Several of us had to walk out side while waiting on our food just to give our ears a rest. Very good food, cool place but I would not recommend going in a nite they have band. read more

Taking into account this is located in West Texas, 5 stars for my initial experience. Too often W.TX businesses are hit and miss; either really good and the next visit a month later horrible, but for now reviewing this first visit, it was 5 stars for me. It was pricey, but with several drinks, seafood tray for two and appetizer I take into account 1) it's W.TX 2) it's seafood 3) it's post-Covid, I wasn't surprised at a $217 bill for me and my wife for 5 - 22oz draft blue moons, 1 Bloody Mary (do Not recommend, tasted like cloves, but didn't count off of stars due to different tastes of bar tenders, this isn't a five star restaurant requiring Michelin star consistency), "Date Night Tray" with 2 each, lobster tails, snow crab clusters, 1 lb shrimp, 1 lb crawfish, sausage, corn potatoes and added eggs. Everything except crawfish was cooked to perfection, crab slid out whole (not over cooked or too frozen), shrimp not tough, lobster was about a minute or 2 away from being tough, but appreciate the fact they use splint lobster tails which is the tastiest and best value in my opinion. Not as sweet as Maine, but better value. Not fishy like Rock lobster. Calamari appetizer was THE BEST WE've had in W.TX, including the upper scale steakhouse / restaurants between midland and Odessa, as well. Was just really refreshing to have good cooked shellfish out in the desert. Hook and Reel, Crab Station, Red Lobster, etc. Always overcook the crab to the point the meat sticks in the shell, shrimp is tough (or it's old and sticks), etc. Place was clean (should be, it's new) and the service despite other reviews was exceptional when we went. Our waiter was attentive and we really didn't have to ask for anything. Hopefully this place stays open and stays consistent. For everybody that had a bad reception we, hopefully they understand this is a new restaurant and crew and obviously have issues ti work on and work out. I think they'll only get better as time goes on, fingers crossed. Will update in future as we visit again. read more

Hyped this place up to my son because the food that I had previously got there was good. This time was an utter disappointment. Received the appetizer and the food and didn't get our drinks. Had to ask for the drinks multiple times. Ordered mild and received spicy when I told the waitress it was not mild she stated that she could rinse it off in the back to make it less spicy to which I declined. When I took the issue up with the manager the manager said that she would have re-cooked it if we had requested it. Which is not what the waitress stated. Would give zero stars if that was an option. If you could give zero this would be the place. excited to try something new in Odessa. Wondered if we would be able to get in with parking lot packed. Should have known when we walked in and all servers were sitting at the bar. Obviously people only parked there to shop other businesses. Had to wait on server to finish her break to get a drink. Ordered appetizers, entrees and totally disappointing. Hushpuppies were mushy and undercooked (no worries they'll cook them again including the one you bit into and bring it back to the table) NO THANK YOU. Left most of the meal on the table and was asked if we'd like to go boxes. (NO we'd like to have eaten it here). Plastic forks if it's not too much trouble for the server to walk all the way back to kitchen. Place was filthy and mis-managed. Server complained to manager on our way out that they only paid the exact amount(which included the twice cooked hushpuppies). Grudgingly paid that.
