Best casual Thai in town- very nice cook and staff. Large portions for a reasonable price. Always refreshing to stop by here.

The interior is very colourful and bright which isn't the standard for Thai places. The venue highlights the fact that they make contributions to help support Thai children in need of aid. So you can eat and feel as though your contributing a little towards helping out underprivileged youths. The menu is full of classics like Tom Yum, Pad Thai, various stir fry and noodle options. They offer $9 specials all day everyday. I decided to order Tom Yum Vegetable Soup with Mushrooms and Tofu as well as a Beef Salad. The menu offers really cheap eats. The soup was $6 and the Beef Salad was $11. The Tom Yum Soup was one of the best I have had in a long day. So spicy it had me grabbing for the tissues and water. Packed with fresh vegetables like broccoli, snow peas, mushrooms and plenty of chilli's. Great choice from the menu and would go back again just for this. The beef salad didn't look amazing on first look but the Salad was surprisingly good too. It had lots of tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber, carrots and capsicums. The sauce was really delicious but it wasn't really mixed into the salad and sat at the bottom of the dish. Packed with Beef this is a really good low carb option for the health conscious. Nice friendly staff and good menu options make this place a great option to try if your in Bondi.

This fabulous casual Thai restaurant servesreally good food, the best Thai food I've had in the East!Large portions, good service, can't easily be beat! From the street, you'll notice that the restaurant is not big, nor have a discerning influence on the culinary aspects of Rose Bay. This new find in Rose Bay has already started to make a strong presence in the discerning Rose Bay/Bondi restaurant scene. If you're heading there on the weekend, especially Saturday night, try to call ahead for a table, or you may end up waiting, as it gets very busy. We demolished a veggie pad siew; a beef pad sieuw; BBQ chicken salad; and the duck salad. The portion sizes were generous and the chefs know what they are doing, the meals come out quickly and surprisingly for a Thai restaurant, the place takes credit cards! Go Blue Monkey! Chimp chimp

I guess one thing you need is a good product - and Blue Monkey Thai does deliver. Their ingredients are super fresh and their dishes are full of flavour. Besides their great choices on the menu - one thing I can guarantee is you will NOT go hungry. They are not scared of big portions sizes and so I suggest sharing or taking some home for next day left over snacking, It's a little bit pricey with dishes costing around $20 (which is a bit for Thai) but as I mentioned you're getting BIG DELICIOUS PORTIONS and so I consider it to be good value.

Less menu from what I understand. We ordered Omelette Chicken with rice on the side, Pad Thai, Grapao Chicken basil, Crab fried rice. Omelette was good, tasty and good portion. Chicken basil leaf was also good, similar to Chicken Mint Leaf in US. Pad Thai was slightly different, probably due this location. No minced peanut on side and noodle on soggy side. Crab Fried Rice was also good. Overall good and tasty Thai food. Reasonable portion and price. FYI, tip is compulsary in OZ, however it's a starting trend now. Tip jar and tip line on receipt. Service was excellent. "Fast food" OZ style meaning small dining area. If I feel like Thai then this is my number one go to, I don't think I've tried any other Thai restaurants in the Eastern Suburbs. Secondly, it's a 30 second walk from my house, which probably contributes a lot to my first point but the pad see ew is too good to pass up. Their fish cakes are also juicy and full of flavour. Thirdly, the Randwick restaurant is uber cute as it's small and exclusive except everyone knows about it and it's constantly busy. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is lively. Great for all occasions.

Even relatively bad Thai food by most people's standards. I know it's bad, but like a 3-legged dog, I love it all the more for the awkward stares, unimpressed looks and pity it gets. For those who are pickier than I (it's not hard, people) Spice & Wine does not fall into the 3-legged dog category, but instead rates up there with some of the better Thai food you've ever indulged in. The Naked Fish is an easy dining highlight, my partner literally licked the bowl his yellow curry came in, the cashew nut chicken is perfectly seasoned and the steamed veggies come with *both* western and Chinese broccoli. But beyond all this, (and their liberal BYO policy) there is a blond braided waitress that just gets. sh*t. done. She is amazing in every definition of the word and makes the dining experience that much better. As do their inside heat lamps and blankets. Listen, I stumbled upon this spot because it's my local. That said, I'd consider this "go out of your way for" Thai. It's at the terminus of all the Bondi buses, so hop on one and experience this spot for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Naked Fish…read more I knew I'd seen these familiar yet unusual menu items somewhere else in Sydney, and indeed a waiter at Spice & Wine informed me they have the same owners as the Spice Market mini-chain. This relatively new Thai restaurant follows the same formula for success as its counterparts - low lighting, simple, timber-clad interiors and friendly service. Oh, and let's not forget delicious food. Friends and I were only after takeaway; our phone order would be ready in just ten minutes, they explained. On arrival, the waiter who served us took the time to ask if any of us preferred our dishes a little spicier than usual, and accordingly added in a complimentary dish of smokey chilli sauce. While I'm a fan of the abovementioned items I'd already tried at their Kirribilli Spice Market outpost, this lazy Sunday evening called for tried-and-tested dishes. Chicken satay skewers, beef pad see ew and chicken pad thai were well-executed favourites, followed by an indulgent red duck curry featuring sweet 'n' juicy lychees.
