From their refreshing watermelon juice, crispy entrees (my son could not stop eating their eggrolls and their battered soft shell crab) to the soup and main meals. All were super tasteful and well presented. They have an extensive menu with a lot to choose from. Despite their busy evening, you could feel the staff was attentive to each clients present. Easy to find free parking on a saturday and baby friendly atmosphere. Really nice decor which made great family pictures souvenir. Definitely worth a stop, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful restaurant! We visited from the States and the chef surprised us with her specialty…read moredishes. We had the seafood fried rice, fried fish, papaya salad and other fabulous dishes. The smoothies were so good. The mango smoothie is now my children's favorite drink. I don't think we'll be able to find the same drinks in the states. We returned a second time before our trip ended. Must try the fried ice cream and sticky rice mango coconut dessert. So delicious. Compliments to the chef(s), all the employees and the owners. Everyone was so welcoming to us. Highly recommend for authentic Thai food with great ambiance. Everyone needs to try this place out. You'll love it and will never want to go to any other Thai restaurant in Sydney.

After coming to the area looking for Korean restaurants close enough to the Giants' Stadium, my…read morepartner and I couldn't help but be excited to find yet another Thai restaurant we'd yet to try. Naturally, my partner went with a massively sized fish and I ordered my usual tofu & vegetable red curry with brown rice. I was quite shocked that they even had brown rice, as nearly every other Thai restaurant I've been to in Australia never offered any in their menus. I truly wish I could give a higher rating as the food was quite good, and they had been SO kind and accommodating when I mentioned my food allergies and dietary restrictions (vegan and vegetarian options available!). The texture and spice levels were beautiful, and not to mention the tofu was done exactly to my liking! But I was a bit bummed out that none of the drinks I tried ordering were available (they were out of nearly every alcoholic base). I gave it a miss and then opted for just water. Though I did keep eyeing the vast number of bottles on display behind me... On top of that, I was never made aware of just how large the 'large' sized rice bowl would be in terms of portion. Normally a cup would be the portion for small, and large would be double that. I received a rice bowl larger than the bowl of curry I ordered. Larger than my head, even! My partner did his best to help me out, but even then it proved to be just too much rice. I think I'd probably recommend that you call in first just to make sure they're in stock with certain ingredients and/or drinks if you're planning meetup anytime in the future. The waiter was absolutely lovely, but it's going to be a miss for me.

Been walking past this busy restaurant many time and finally tried it…read more I ordered Lao papaya salad, crispy pork belly and Lao trditional soup. The salad was very spicy even though I asked for medium spicy. The crispy pork was nice and tasty. The soup has a lovely smell and taste. The beef could be a little bit more tender. The service was good and faster then expected consider how busy they were. Overall was a nice restaurant. Might come back again to try other dish on the menu.

My favourite Lao diamond in the dust. This place is truly a local's gem and my go-to when I need to…read moresatisfy that spicy, sour, salty craving of the real deal lao cuisine. For those of you who are not acquainted with Lao cuisine check out Star Lao as a first experience, you know what they say about first impressions! My staples... Lao 'Som Tum' Paw Paw Salad - Traditional salad dish of shredded paw paw, carrots, cherry tomatoes, dried shrimp in a salty, spicy, sour crab paste sauce. Must get it spicy otherwise it can be a little pungent Lao Sausage - Seasoned with Lao flavourings & sticky rice, again salty, sour & spicy with sour/spicy fish sauce dip Grilled Ox Tongue - Perfectly tender and succulent grilled Ox tongue with sour/spicy fish sauce dip Chicken Feet Salad - crunchy clean chicken feet (don't let the toes gross u out haha) mixed with Asian herbs, carrots, red onion in a spicy sour fish sauce Green Chicken Curry - they sure do keep it literal as this place rocks the greenest green curry I've ever seen! I've been told they use spinach to give it the bright green colour but when it's this good is even gobble it down if it were purple! Grilled Pork Belly - A little indulgent with all the fat but oh so worth it. Lightly battered and grilled leaving a thin crispy covering before it melts away into your mouth. Dishes average $8-10, an absolute steal!

Fried ice cream, banana fritters and fried dough sticks with coconut ice cream and pandan sauce are just yum! Best thing about this place is the desserts!
