I placed an order through their online system, and the automated message said it would be ready in about 20 to 25 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes later and was told it would be another five minutes. This restaurant is interesting because it's set up like a small stall inside a convenience store. That means there isn't much seating aside from a small two-top, and most of the food is meant to be taken to go. On the night I was there, a man and woman were working together behind the counter. For dinner, I decided on the chicken kebab plate while my wife went with the chicken feta salad. I had the choice of rice or salad and went with the fattoush salad, then picked two sides: cauliflower and eggplant salsa. I also asked for mine to be spicy. Both of our meals looked good when I opened the to-go boxes, although I would have had a hard time spotting the cauliflower at first. I started with my chicken, which was served over the salad, and it was delicious. The chicken was moist, the salad was flavorful, and the spice blend added a great kick without being overpowering. Both of my sides were good too. The eggplant was nicely cooked with a custard-like texture, and the cauliflower was roasted well with a tasty sauce on top. My wife also really enjoyed her salad, especially the chicken. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first found this place, but the food ended up being delicious.

We decided to eat dinner at a local burger spot we only discovered a couple months ago. Pop Top here in Webster, Texas has a friendly staff and they are always clean and ready for business. My wife got her favorite, the Old Fashioned Cheeseburger. I got adventurous and chose the Razz Burger. Wow!!! I have never had a burger with this flavor profile. Razz Burger - Beef patty, topped with razzberry sauce, cream cheese, jalapeno slices, shredded lettuce and mayo. If you want a burger and you're feeling adventurous try them out. So many different options including Buffalo wings, salads, and several different options for sides. Oh! and the desserts are next level.

It was absolutely delicious! Service was great, the waitress had a smile on her face the whole time. She was on it, and you could tell she enjoyed her job! It was a smaller place but it was clean and inviting. The food was served hot and fresh. We opted for the Mac-a-tak burger, the Oh-lay burger and split the Best of both (tots and fries) The only thing I think that I could say somewhat "bad" is maybe having a specific fry sauce or even fries tossed in a good seasoning. Don't get me wrong they were delicious but I believe that could take them up even another notch. But it's for me that's for sure and we can't wait to get back there to try more burgers! Do yourself a favor and go to this place, like today!!!! Prices, food, service are all amazing!!!!!

Courteous, always making sure the customers were taken care of well and were served in a timely manner. Often came to our table making sure everything was ok, if we needed anything else and with this big old smile on his face. Definitely we will be back as well as recommended this place to our friends. We ain't in Queens anymore…read more For years, I've eaten on Shah's all around the borough, initially out in Ozone Park and Briarwood before finding a real audience in Sunnyside. Now that they've sufficiently blown up around NYC, I was a bit shocked (and excited) to see them finally come to H-Town. What's the verdict? It's good enough to pass muster for NY standards (#1), is open super late, and will likely be my go-to Halal food for the foreseeable future. Since I've only had it in cart form, I'm still a buggin over the fact it's become a franchise. It's similar to my shock of eating Halal Guys at a store for the first time. The digs feel as foreign (prices, large, clean and bright interior) as it does familiar (taste, logo, etc.). Even though I had a laugh seeing the wall photo-mural of a Shah's cart in Times Square, I did appreciate the nod to Ozone Park with the 121st & Liberty street signs. The chicken + lamb combo platter ($12) is and always will be the winner. The lamb had the same kind of seasoning that most Halal spots out here try to replicate but can never get right. The rice was fluffy, and the white sauce was easily the highlight. I can understand why they've decided to bottle it up and sell it as liquid gold. It makes every meal better. Kofta ($12) and chapli ($13) are rarely my favorites, but I knew I had both in platter form. The addition of adding chickpeas and these other salads is not something I'm used to from the carts (#2) but I loved the fact it was drowned in the white sauce with a dash of hot sauce. The latter is supposedly extremely hot, but I didn't find it that spicy. While I have to say the cheeseburger was a bit of a disappointment (overly bready, thin patty), the pakora chips and french fries were fabulous. They were perfectly seasoned, had a nice crisp, and frankly would be an excellent, gut-busting addition to any platter. I don't love the extra charge, but I hope they remain consistent with it. This store location in Westchase along Westheimer is an up and coming part of town. There are numerous Middle Eastern businesses in the adjacent area, along with an abundance of parking spots and a good amount of late night activity. Service was friendly but I do hope they keep their standards up. As time goes on, I'm 100% convinced this will be a destination for the many late night meal seekers and fans of NY nostaligia. __________ (#1) Which automatically supersedes a lot of the ones here in Houston. Just keeping it real. (#2) Is the chickpeas a Houston thing? Genuinely curious.
