I love historical places and Glaciers National Park is reach with history and filled of activities to enjoy. Red Bus Tour made our visit complete by taking my wife and I around the National park which they call tour of the continent. The experience was amazing, our driver and tour guide Ms Nori was magnificent. She gave us history lesson and stories, gave us tips to enjoy the park. Epic tour!

The Red Bus Tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Glacier National Park. Spoiler alert: we saw a bear! We weren't expecting to see a bear but we saw it on the way to Logan Pass and it passed our bus and crawled down the steep mountain. These historic red buses were refurbished and is a comfortable way to traverse the Going To The Sun Road. We had traveled up to Lake McDonald Lodge to pick up the bus and it takes you to Logan Pass and back. The buses have an open roll-top and three bench seats (four to a seat). We sat in the last row which is a little cramped because of the wheels but I also didn't mind because in front of us was a storage compartment that separated us from the next row. Our driver Ron was a fun character. I don't know if drivers are required to dress in uniform but he looked the part of a "jammer" from the 30s with hat and elaborate facial hair. He certainly kept us entertained throughout the 2.5 hour tour, giving us all the tea on Glacier. This is an amazing drive and we could enjoy it with an expert driver. The views are simply awe-inspiring and the commentary adds flavor. The icing on the cake was getting to see a bear. Getting a few moments to see this beautiful animal then watching it proceed on its way into the mountain below was special. Book a spot in advance because these tours sell out. When you book you are warned to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure and we made sure to leave plenty of time because the entrance to the park can be crowded. Even so, we ended up waiting on JILL, who did not show and another party was able to sub in. Glacier National Park is simply amazing and this tour allowed us to simply sit back and enjoy the view.

It is a long day but it is one that we would happily do again. Loved the bus and the company we had. Excellent experience!!!! Highly Recommended!!!!! Thank You Tanya for an amazing day!!!! Not one that we will ever forget!!!!

We had a great time on the morning tour with Maddie. We left from the Apgar Visitor Center, making our way up to Logan Pass and back. The journey over the ~10 mile stretch of of GTSR that is under construction was a bit rough, especially sitting in the last row on the wheel well in this older vehicles. Maddie was full of great information and factoids about the park. She had a very positive and friendly demeanor, making it a fun time to be in her group. On the way up it was drizzling, but once we got up to Logan Pass the skies cleared and we were able to take the top off on the way down and see the vibrant blue, smoke-free skies for a short time! The bus is equipped with Pendleton blankets and heated seats to keep you warm when the top is down. The checkin process was smooth. We showed up at Apgar Visitor Center a few minutes before our start time and we're easily able to find the employee in charge of checking us in, who assured us are bus would be back around shortly since they only have two parking spots allotted to them. We enjoyed getting to take short stops at the Lake McDonald Lodge and Logan Pass Visitor Center, as well as various photo stops along the way. We did think the tour was a bit pricy, especially considering that the park shuttle drives this same route, but you are paying for the experience of riding in the Red Bus and the information offered by the your guide.

Excellent tours with Jammer Cari!! Review of Glacier Park Red Bus Tours Reviewed yesterday I had the privilege of touring Glacier National Park with Jammer "Cari". She provided exceptional knowledge of the park, history of mountains and glaciers providing stops at look-out points for photo opts. Cari provided additional information on native animals and horticulture. She tied in the different stories of Chalets, Railroad and historical fires. If you had any questions, she took the time to explain or point out at a different location. I enjoyed the Western Alpine Tour so much, I booked the Eastern Alpine Tour the next day and very fortunate to get Cari again. During the eastern tour, she stopped for wild life (spotting from a distance) so cameras could be ready. Bears and elk were close enough and tried to find Moose and Mountain Goats going back down. Cari's knowledge of Glacier National Park was even further demonstrated when she made recommendations of trails to hike, especially Highline trail. She made special mention of where to stop and take pictures. I am not sure if you can specifically ask for your Jammer, but insist on waiting for Cari if at all possible. You wont regret it!! If you are in a large group, make sure you take the time to thank her personally. She works hard and deserves it.

All vehicles are ADA accessible and equipped with lifts. Most fares are $1.00 each way," according to their website. Eagle Transit operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am-7:00 pm. However, routes vary in terms of days and hours of operation, so it's best to check their schedules to be sure. The transit service offers bus service in Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls. I was staying near the Kalispell Center Mall & wanted to ride around to see the sights and act just like a local. (This is always a high priority for me when I travel to a new place.) I jumped on the Whitefish Express (the Express bus costs $3) that ends up at the O'Shaughnessy Center, hung out for a spell, and then jumped right back on the return express bus to Kalispell. I kind of got a city tour for the price of a bus ride. But I had to deduct 1 YELP STAR due to the Kalispell to Glacier Park bus service not starting up until July! I want to go there now! Still I have to commend scenic, rustic Kalispell for having such great public transportation options like Eagle Transit.

But it was worth it; especially with the 2025 construction, it's the best way to get to this part of the park, which is itself a highlight. I love the huge lobby, which has tons of space and seating to eat snacks, play a game, or whatever while looking out the huge windows over the lake. And often a random guest is playing a song on the piano. Our "Value Room" was comfortable and had everything you need. Service was great at the front desk and bell staff. There's a talk every evening; the nights we were there were a native storyteller and a ranger presentation on birds; very different, but both great, and something not many national park lodges offer.

When we asked for new plates, we were told that "the kitchen doesn't follow the menu". Apparently the manager doesn't have authority over the kitchen staff, and they literally put whatever they feel like putting on a plate. For example, I tried to order a bison burger with no bun due to an allergy. It was supposed to come with caramelized onions and an aioli sauce. They first brought it out on a bunch with crunchy onions, which are obviously not the same. The sous chef told our waitress that the fried onions were the same thing as caramelized onions. Obviously they're not, and this person is just incompetent. So long story short, do not eat here unless you enjoy playing roulette with your food.

I went to Glacier Grizzly Resort the day before and to confirm with the owner Daniel that the glamping tipi is available due to the bad reviews. Upon checking in (7/11) Daniel first told me that they had a "power outage" and I could not stay in the glamping tipi due to this. He went on and on that they will have the "power outage" fixed by tomorrow. By the end of the conversation he (the owner Daniel) told me that what actually happened is that they overbooked the glamping tipi and they did not have any tipis for me to stay in. They did offered me the camper that they rent at a "discounted" rate (even more than I was paying for the glamping tipi) BUT only for ONE night. When I refused to stay in something that I did not rent and demand a refund,he argued with me about refunding. He did not get or give me any information for refunding me and I never saw him again. We booked ours in Feb based on their website that stated they were all new resort with camp store, laundry facilities, 50 amp hookups, ADA bath house. In the last month or so they updated their website to say they were still under construction. We had an RV site and 2 Glamping Tipis reserved, 10 people total. We contacted them the week before our scheduled arrival and Lori confirmed everything was good to go. (We had seen some recent reviews saying otherwise) We stopped by there the day before out arrival and met the owner Daniel, he told us to pick any spot we wanted when we come in, as some sites aren't complete yet, and that our Tipis were ready to go. The next morning we moved our rig there, set it up, and tried to check into our Tipis. 1. We have a 50 amp rig with 2 a/c and the pedestal was 30 amp. They told me they had built a 50 amp converter they would put on the pedestal to make sure I had 2 hot legs (They never did this, so no clue what the contraption was) 2. We were told Tipis now weren't ready yet, needed to be cleaned from previous night. I said that's fine, but asked for them to tell which ones were ours, due to it would be evening before we get back from the park. He said he would text it to me since we would be in park with no service, then I'd get the message when I got service again. 30 mins later I get a call from Lori because they were confused about the Tipis, but got that straightened out. Later that evening when we come out of the park, I get a text saying they overbooked and now don't have our tipis, but they'll put us in a basic tipis (no floor, water, electric, or actual beds) for small discount, an older used 5th wheel and new smaller TT for no discount, or refund the tipis and we can go elsewhere. Neither Daniel or Lori would answer our calls, so we canceled my Nephew's 18th bday dinner to go see what was going on. Daniel was actually in the campground when we got back (Usually no host, he just comes by randomly throughout the day). We discussed what had happened, he told me the electric was out in our tipis, so we couldn't stay in them, and they weren't overbooked. He eventually backed up and said they were overbooked after I told him I could see the lights on and people in the tipis. We told him we wanted full refund on 1 tipi because my SIL would stay with us, and asked for a discount for the hassle of staying in his rv 1 night, then having to packup next morning and haul it all day until he decided where to put us. He told me he wouldn't discuss it until tomorrow. From here it evolved into an argument between both of us that ended with him throwing his truck in gear, saying he's not talking about it anymore, as he peeled out and threw gravel all over my truck as he left. I later texted him and Lori both and told them both we wanted to take the full refund on both Tipis that they offered. We have yet to receive a response, though messages have been read, and Daniel never came back to talk to us the next evening. So we packed 10 people in camper our 2 nights there and have not got our refunds yet.
