Chocolate pie, Lemon Bar, and apple pie. All good!

4.5 edging to 5. Stopped in to grab some sweets to go. The service was fast and friendly. There is a large seating area if you are ordering food and want to sit and eat. They had soo many good looking pies, cookies, and cakes to choose from. I could have honestly purchased like 10 different items. However the settled on 3. Apple Pie: Nice crust and the filling had the right amount of sweetness. It was not overpowering sugar taste and let the apples show through. Chocolate Cream pie: the whipped topping was very good. The chocolate filling was good not great. The crust was a little tough. In general it was a good slice of pie, but I have had better. Lemon Bar: nice slice of lemon bar with the right amount of sweetness to sour. if you like lemon deserts I would give it a try. I think The Red Barn Bakery is worth a stop especially when on a long road trip. I would have loved to try the lunch menu everything looked very good. would recommend and return.

Work had me down in the area and decided to try the Red Barn Bakery for lunch. They do have more than just baked good. Went with the fried chicken tender plate and it did not disappoint. Clearly freshly hand breaded and fried just right it was a great lunch. Came with fries, Texas toast, and good serving of gravy for all of it. Service was great, very attentive but not over the top. Will 100% be back and would recommend if you're in the area and looking to support a local option rather than driving to San Marcos for fast food.

Tasty biscuits and gravy from Red Barn Bakery! The pancakes were also fluffy and delicious. The service was a bit slow, but they said it was because the biscuits had to be prepared which did taste great! The decorations were homey and the people were friendly. Overall, good visit.

Tried this place for the first time. The food was amazing. The bakery items were great too. The place itself was cute. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Although we went 45 minutes before they closed we were still served. Glad we found this place and will be returning soon.

Excellent service, greeted as you walk in the door, feels like you've walked into grandma's house. Cozy atmosphere, combo of antique store, bakery and restaurant. Food was delicious. Everything made fresh, could smell the bread baking. We had the french toast, biscuits and gravy, and the red barn breakfast plate.

CFS, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and biscuit. Delicious!

We really enjoyed our lunch here! I got the king ranch chicken and it was so delicious and flavorful with the right amount of spice, the beans were cooked to perfection and the cornbread was moist and delicious with the perfect hint of sweetness. My husband got the CFS and the batter was perfectly seasoned, mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious and well seasoned. Not pictured was the cheeseburger and fries, i tried both and they were so good! The fries were crispy and seasoned on the outside and soft on the inside. We also got a lemon bar to go and, wow! They nailed it!

Saturday special Turkey & Dressing, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Beans, Salad & dinner roll. Dark meat.Mashed potato's and gravy.

This will be my go to place from now on. So responsive and kind. Hopefully the food is as good as the people that work there.

First off, the feel of the place is so chill and jazzy. It feels way more intimate and casual than…read morethe previous shop. The menu is a fun twist on classic cafe food. It's a little confusing when you first read it, but Peyton was very polite in explaining what they have. They have military discount. I had a latte with lavender and caramel (weird combo but I like it) and the coffee was really nice. I also had the mango fusion and it wasn't overly sweet. Very refreshing. I had the GOAT smashed croissant with a honey drizzle and it was delicious! You definitely have to get it with honey. A very pleasant combo of flavors. I also had the Mac n cheese pie with bacon. It was a little dry but the owner Alsue was quick to offer a replacement or some extra cheese. I got the extra cheese and it fixed it right up. I think it's a really good sign when an owner is quick to provide an effective solution. The other owner Pat was very nice to talk to and both were very helpful to the employee, which I also think is a good sign The seating is mixed and fun. Accessibility There is a ramp, a roll in non automatic door, and a low counter. There is an accessible table outside, but the dining area is a bit tight and isn't very wheelchair accessible. The bathroom is big and has a foot pedal opening trashcan. There is a seat in the lobby if you need to sit down. Overall, I really liked it. Reasonable prices, nice food, polite staff, and a pleasant ambiance. Can't wait to come back.

We dined here late Sunday morning after a positive recommendation from a friend, who told us about…read morethe friendly owner, but she was away on a family emergency so we didn't meet her. We decided to split two smashed croissants, plus a Rizz pie. The croissants were served first (one breakfast & one G.O.A.T.). The cappuccinos came with that meal and were served in a small paper cup. The coffee was steaming hot, just as coffee should be & perfect. Perhaps a regular cappuccino mug would have been better, and more matching the comforting interior. Some thought did go into the design, it was really nice & cozy. We finished our croissants, and since it was 25 min since we ordered, asked about the pie. It was soon brought out, but was cool on the very inside middle. Regardless, it was tasty. The meat was tender, and also had mushrooms, topped with mashed potatoes and cheese. It was a nice flakey crust. If it were hot and delivered with the meal, then this would have been five stars. 25 minutes, with us being the only customers, is really too long to wait for food for a counter service meal. Parking was adequate and easily accessible.
