I needed a new battery. We showed up about 15-20 minutes before closing time and was told they stop installing batteries at that time. Then was told they didn't have the battery my car needed. I couldn't start my car. We had to jump it.. it took a while.. was then told if my car didn't start, I could leave it overnight or they could push my car to the street! The street! Um no! Bought 23 battery's here this year they advertise a 2 year warranty lol I've had to return 20 battery's within the first year at first they would exchange with no problems. But now they try and get out of replacing or send me back out with another bad battery. That's the owner I'm dealing with not the employee. What a terrific find. Came here at the recommendation of the towing company that jump-started my car. Someone walked right away to my car, tested my battery on the spot, and returned with several battery options a couple of minutes later. Refurbished for $35 or "like new" for $59, both with a 2-year warranty. 5 minutes later, the battery was installed and I was on my way, having never left the car. Wow! What a different "car mechanic" experience. All they do is sell batteries, that's it. It was a little challenging to find, but worth the drive. This was the worst over the phone experience on a Saturday around 4 or 430 pm. I had family in the car and the phone was on speaker - the group heard the whole degrading conversation. I simply asked if they had the battery in stock for my car - the guy was like look we are probably low on those idk but show up and I'll see what I have. I said sir I'm coming some distance can you give me a solid answer? He said yeah theres probably a couple, I asked the price and he said around 30.00 then said no like 40.00 then the core is 16. I told him I was tight on money so I'm writing this down. He said plan on bringing going like 80.00. I said wait, the battery is what again. 43.00 and then the core is like 17.00 and then sales tax - I said ok so what's that all come to he said already told you 4x. He said you dont know what sales tax is or how to calculate it. I said I am driving a distance I need to know if in stock and final price he just laughed at me and started whistling. Recently just purchased a battery from this facility and i never will again. I traded in my battery for another one and they gave me a battery that was 2 sizes smaller than the battery I needed. Went to start my car twice and it didn't start, so I started thinking something else was wrong with it so I took it to another facility closer to my home after I jump started it and they let me know that the battery that was in it wasn't there correct size for my vehicle. I found this place three months ago when I needed a new battery. They replaced my old battery, and replaced it with a reconditioned battery for thirty bucks. Two year warranty included. Some might doubt getting a reconditioned battery and opt for a new, more expensive one at a retailer. But this option is not only cheaper, it is also an example of real recycling. My battery is working great. This morning, I used it to jump my buddy's car and we drove over to get his old one replaced for the same price. These guys have excellent customer service, and are fast! I called all around town for a 2016 Optima battery, and didn't have a single quote below $200 before the charge to install the new battery, but Recon were able to get me a brand new battery for $99, or even less for a reconditioned battery.
