After traveling one hour to Fort Dix for my all day handgun training I find out that the class has…read morebeen canceled. I was so upset I had not been notified by no one. I could've been contacted phone or email and I cannot believe that this happened to me. I highly don't recommend anyone doing any business with shoot New Jersey. Terrible customer service and business practices **Update to shoot N.J. comment. Completely untrue on how things transpired. Not accurate at all. It's note my fault that the company had a faulty and unreliable website with in accurate information. It's funny on how the day that I arrived to Ft Dix a worker there told me that this happens with OFTEN with Shoot NJ . He was not surprised. Also, Dawn with shoot N.J. Anticipated people coming to that cancelled class and instructed two men that also work for Fort Dix to tell Anyone that would show up that the camp class was canceled and postponed till the next day. When I spoke to Dawn on the phone she herself admitted to me that she was there that morning leaving at 8:20am to make sure to address anyone who would be coming to that class that was canceled. So if there was no problem in your scheduling why Was she there and instructed workers that were there to give that sort of information out to anyone who would show up.So all of the information that you have posted is not accurate to what happened. I hope that in the future you tell your customers the truth and disclose all information. I know when I scheduled my class online it reflected the same date that my friend signed up for as well. Don't try to cover up something that you know went terribly wrong with your company. If you own a company I would hope that you would keep your customers happy and work out something to keep them happy. Under the circumstances was not offered a refund or even a reschedule date. What I am more upset about is the principal about how this was all handled. Apparently the company is so money hungry that they can't give it back it's customer $175 refund. Very sad. Also how much does a manual actually cost I don't think it cost anywhere near $30 and a certificate you probably just print out from some computer in the office, you can put that one passed me. Food is probably just catered from a local food company and you always have extra. I know how your class runs I've known about it before so don't tell me that you spend all this money and preparation for me to show up to the class because in actuality you made money on me by "no show" . Don't try to re-iterate your policy it's not about your policy it's about the fact that your website had the incorrect date on it when I registered. It's funny how when I mentioned it to Dawn on the phone she would stay very quiet, that to me shows me that she knew something was going wrong on the website. And by the way this is not an alias this is just my nickname that I go by, I have nothing to hide. Public beware.

The pricing was very competitive and he was able to order and receive within 5 days. I did read some reviews prior to going to bullseye about "attitude". Chris has a stern but accommodating attitude, after all he is in the business of firearms and not Christmas trees and I respect it. I wouldn't want people clowning around making customers feeling unsafe. I was there for about an hour until the background check was completed and browsed the inventory and asked additional questions about different items. Chris is very knowledgable about firearms and provides straight forward reviews with a caveat "I will sell you whatever you want but this is my opinion.", almost like reading a review online but still having the ability to buy what you want. He is a firearms dealer, organizes/teaches weapon training courses, and is an avid shooter, so his opinion is based off of using the product not just reading a brochure. At the end of the day, I would go back and recommend others to go there as well.

For a very reasonable fee & registration, members of the range provide instruction on the safe handling of varied guns, ammunition, & the guns themselves. They also provide ear plugs & safety glasses for those that need them. We (the ladies) were broken up into groups & were able to shoot many varieties of guns, 22 rifles & pistols, 9 mm's, 38's, double barrel shot guns, & even high powered rifle's, as well as a few I can't recall. Instruction was one on one which was very nice for a fairly novice shooter like myself. Safety is paramount & the instructors continually repeated the safety rules throughout each station. The property is quite large & offers skeet shooting & several target shooting options. It is a 'members' facility but this particular event I was able to attend as a non member & being a recreational shooter I loved it. They offer youth programs as well & if my daughter was still a 'youth', I would have signed her up! I absolutely LOVED this experience & am looking forward to the opportunity of going again. The men & ladies of this club do an excellent job & take responsible training very seriously, as it should be! The only drawback is the cost to join. It is very pricey, plus you must be an NRA member another expense), however, it's a great place & I think worth it if you plan on sticking with it.
