They're very picky about what they accept, and prices follow suit, which is fine because it's usually good stuff. The items are put together very nicely, although the store is pretty dark. Service, however, is terrible. Most often I'm completely ignored while the staff talk amongst themselves. (The friendly dogs will greet you, at least!) Pretty often, they are closed during their posted open hours.

It's been critical for us to clear out things we no longer need (or things that we never needed but were bequeath to us)! And of course we found Treasurer After Treasurer there, From kitchen tools... to blankets...to shoes...to jigsaw puzzles... small furniture items... The prices are beyond reasonable, and it feels good to know the money is going to a great cause. It's just fun to go here and look around, even if you aren't looking for anything in particular, because there's always something that you can't live without! They even had the unique shiva that can be hard to locate and overpriced. They had fossils and rocks as well, especially the petoskey stone. The items were fair priced too. They currently do require face masks and the restroom is closed. However, the lovely worker with an awesome accent instructed us how to get to public restrooms a short 2 minites away! We love this cute shop and were excited that we saw it.

I think "original gifts" would be more accurate. They have jewelry, items for the house and garden, old post cards, pottery, masks, drinking glasses...we had a good time just poking around to see what they had. The owner was friendly and asked if we needed help, and left us to wander. We ended up buying stone earrings for $10 each. We enjoyed the store and recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Like most thrift stores, the stock is a decent mix of nice things and junk, and that's the fun of the hunt. They have clean fitting rooms, something that other stores have eliminated. All these great things are reasons why I hope they see this long-winded review, because I would love to be able to enjoy shopping here again. As it is now in fall 2026, I can't pay these prices! Over the past year or so, they have increased prices to a laughable degree. They mark up all clothing and shoes with mid-level brand names (Eddie Bauer, WHBM, Talbots, Prana, etc.), or crappy brands that are new with tags (Basic Editions, H&M). It doesn't matter how dated or damaged the items are. Obviously they have someone in the back whose job is to look this stuff up online and then price it the same waY--seemingly unaware of the fact that online sellers: PAY for the item in the first place; pay listing fees, sales fees, transaction fees; have to cover preparation, storage, and shipping time & supplies. They also pay income tax on those sales. This is all baked into the price online. I'm not sure what logic is at work in this store's pricing strategy. If they are trying to discourage resellers, it's working--and they're losing a lot of business because of that. Regular people do not go to a thrift store expecting boutique or consignment pricing. Price these donated goods to actually sell, and keep cash flowing in! There are things that have been on the rack for months. The stock is stagnant because of the prices. I lost it today after seeing used shoes for $75 and a pilled polyester fall coat for $40. I want to love this place, but I'm done until they get more realistic about pricing.
