Honestly I would completely avoid this practice. There are now much better options in the area…read more Not only will you get a rushed 5 min consultation where you have to have your questions ready to blur out before the doctor is out the door but also NOTHING you share will be private between you and the doctor. Their ipads records everything and it will transcribe every single minutia detail in your medical history including concerns or questions you have and will write things down without actually formally diagnosing you. Their lab test for hormones is not only inaccurate but they charge you "preferential cash" for it, when you can get your own full hormones panel at quest for $100+ less! My testosterone levels were imcredibly low and the doctor dismissed it as perimenopause without blinking. When I brought my results to an actual OBGYN, it took him 2 seconds to see the test was done incorrectly as the results showed the hormone levels of a DEAD person.... This can have serious consequences if you start things like testosterone / hormone therapy (when not even needed!) and will come back to bite when you are looking for life insurance and you will have to do unnecessary follow-ups to get coverage. Compassion and empathy are not the way of the practice - this is a pure factory money grab experience. Try the new baptist health primary care office for professionalism and association with an actual hospital instead of a place that pushes their tests, vitamins etc..

A number of years ago, I went to see Dr Moulavi for weight loss. I used to call him the "cookie…read moredoctor", writing him off as something less than a real doctor. I was wrong. I didn't realize he had been an ER doc for years, and then a family doctor. I now see him for my primary care, and he knows what he is doing. He takes the time to answer questions and is respectful. He does not charge thousands of dollars as a "concierge" doctor. Concierge medicine here is a scam, and it is hard to find a doctor not doing that. Doc Moulavi does have a lot of cosmetic procedures and products for sale, which is fine. Perhaps that helps him make up for not gouging patients for medical care, I don't know. But I do really appreciate him.

They have a lab on site so my blood work was done there versus having to wait 7 hours at a LabCorp (which if anyone reads this- you know EXACTLY what i'm talking about) Besides the friendly faces throughout my whole visit, the doctor was extremely attentive even though it was my first time! Usually when I go to a healthcare professional for the first time they basically cross off a check list and leave. After a 30 minute wait outside and another 30 minute wait in the examination room LOL. Which leads me into another highlight- the service was quick and efficient. LOVED THAT. All in all, this office treated me like I am a regular of theirs for years and gave me pretty spectacular service. Going to a clinic for your health care needs is extremely personal and you have to find a place that fits your needs. If you're looking for a place you can count on, feel comfortable and receive white glove service, I'd definitely check Glades Medical out. There's dozens of clinics i've been to, so if one stands out to me, I have to give it credit.

In fact I thought very evasive and I basically came away thinking MDVIP are going to earn a lot of money being the support for my doctor who appears to want to go into more intensive care with holistic medicine. Initially I had read most doctors had 600 patients on their books at a cost of $2,600 gives them $1,560,000 a year in comparison with having 1500 patients coming and going at however much they receive from that. Who knows what that money equates to. Clearly a better deal using MDVIP but creating a two tier health system. My doctor is starting at 300 it seems that means 1200 people being shunted out the door into the local area with limited doctors available to take them. Personally, I do not want to pay that type of money for a once a year selective blood test from Cleveland Labs (Quest) when I am not convinced that I would get any better service than if I have to wait a day to go to a new doctor or go to Urgent Care if something crops up. Do these doctors become your friend? Well I have been going to mine for 15 years and he's not my friend but he is a good doctor and I wish him well but I do not like the hard sell which has been going on for weeks either with text messages or with emails or phone calls. They are targeting insecure people who have spare money to spend so I am not convinced it is a good deal and online reviews are mainly negative. Medicare and any other billing will also be done by MDVIP it seems cutting out the doctor's staff from unnecessary time consuming work. My answer would have been join a practice with many doctors, to take the load and pay extra staff to do the work but that would not give the doctor $1,560,000 a year would it? Plus the fees can go up every year so for now some may have the advantage but next year or the following year when fees go up they will not be able to go to that doctor any more. By the way if you are receiving a pension when was the last pension raise that gave you an additional $2,600 to spend on medical? I almost feel it is a scam.

GOTCHA! * Forgot to wash your hands after dinner last night? GOTCHA! If your regular physician is out of town or off, NOBODY CARES! At all. It's obvious the covering physicians & staff don't care if you're not one of theirs. It's shameful. Um, I'm paying $2,500/year just to walk through the door. I'm done with this mess. This model is for making people money wherever they can and you're nothing but a billing vessel to drain.
