I drove from Davie for my regular yearly checkup. No one called/texted me to confirm my appointment nor did they send me any reminders about my appointment. I get to the office and the lights are off. Somebody was inside telling me they were closed. I proceeded to tell her i had an appointment today. She came to the door to then tell me again they are closed so i showed her my appointment card that was provided to me. She tells me they have been closed for OVER A WEEK! So you been closed a whole week yet NOBODY called me to cancel or reschedule my appointment!?! Where did the professionalism fail? Im done with this off im done with driving to pompano for bullshit. Your telling me no one could give me a courtesy call? Yeah im done with your office. You can take your apology and shove it. read more

I went here for years because finding a new Gyno sounded like a pain. Even so, I always felt this place was gross. Nothing has been updated for decades. Women get to 'cover' themselves in horribly cheap rough sheets of what feels like parchment paper. The office and rooms look disorganized and will give you the "icks". It appears as if their only concern is to maximize profit and not the comfort of their patients. I have since found a new Gyno, and no joke... its like a SPA! Soft robes, soft socks, candles burning, nice music. They try to make an uncomfortable situation as pleasant as possible. After this place, I have no idea why I put up with this nasty office as long as I did. Hope this helps. Find a nicer place... there are better options out there. read more

Please save yourself a headache. Avoid this place. All they think about is Money. Nothing else. This doctor caused me a miscarriage and he did not care at all. And it was preventable. A lot of people give him lots of credit and i decided to try him. Big mistake of my life that i am still paying until this day. But i learned my lessons. I barely give reviews but if i save someone else the pain and suffering then yes,that is the reason i decided to write this. But please,be really careful when choosing an Obgyn! Of course I found Dr Chidiac thru my insurance company. I had been thru 2 other Dr's and had 2 miscarriages and needed a Dr who would actually help me hold onto a baby. His office is clean, and bright, the staff is a little iffy. I have had phone calls not returned and an attitute once about my insurance I had maxed my out of pocket. But that is the receptionists. The PA is great and the nurses who meets you for weigh in is very nice too. Dr Chidiac is WONDERFUL! A great demeanor, truly friendly and considerate. Sure like any OB the appts are fast (like 10 min) but if you ask a question he does answer it and so far I have been very happy. I did have to call once after hours and was called back with in 10 min. Now I haven't given birth yet, but I'd rather see his smiling happy face in delivery than anyone elses :) read more

Gave me incorrect dose of antibiotics, then overdosed me on antibiotics and we all know what that now leads to for me, 60 more days of suffering and expensive diet and vitamins to cure the mistreatment. If I could give Dr. chidiac and his office ZERO stars I would. I normally don't write reviews on anything, but I would be doing a disservice to any pregnant woman, or any woman in general in search of a OBGYN if I didn't. I truly do not know where to begin. For starters, Dr. chidiac has no regard for the feelings or questions that a pregnant woman feels. Every appointment was rushed in and out and he never even sat down to answer my questions or ease my nerves about certain concerns I had. This is my first pregnancy so like any other first time mommy I had questions! Dr. chidiac has literally made me leave his office in tears. After informing him that I would be relocating back to New Jersey towards the end of my pregnancy to be close to my family, he tried to tell me he didn't want to follow a patient that he wasn't going to deliver and that he would transfer my records to another doctor IMMEDIATELY. I now know that it was because he wasn't going to receive that fat delievery check after all the "work" he has done being my doctor for the last 9 months. After questioning how on earth he could leave a woman going in the second trimester doctor-less, he tried to do some damage control. When I was 8 months pregnant I finally made the move back to New Jersey. I made an appt with Chidiac the week before we left for a finial check up with him and to get my records for my new OB in jersey. The girls at the front desk encouraged me to just have them faxed up and that it would be a waste for them to make a hard copy when they can just send it to the new office. I thought that made sense and agreed. After making sure there was nothing else I had to sign, release or do I left the office in good faith this office was going to do something right. Once I got to NJ I tried to make a appt with my new OB and needed my records, there a release that needed to be signed. I tried to get in contact with someone at that office for 4 days. I was put on hold and repeatedly hung up on over and over and ACTUALLY LAUGHED AT ON THE PHONE while I was crying in frustration. When I finally got in touch with a supervisor, it was taken care of. As is everything above isn't enough, my first prenatal appointment (4/20/16) Dr. chidi-QAUCKS office entered the wrong "codes" for blood work. The office ordered testing that Was not only never done, but so ridiculous that it was not covered by my insurance ( I have atnea and they cover almost everything). Because of the issue, I had $1,300 bill for Quest that was sent to collections and to this day is effecting my credit. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a different Dr. and office. Save yourself the headache and stress. And find a doctor that actually cares. read more

And I have an insurance plan with Humana .So I had to change the doctor and need my history of exams , call the staff and they told me they will charge $1.00 per page if I want a copy . read more

I have to agree with Rachel, this office is only concerned with how much money they can get out of you. I had a uterine biopsy and was told I had no copay for that visit, this was confirmed by my insurer. Dr. Chidiac also insisted I see him face to face for the results as he said they can be "very complicated" (said in a very condescending tone)... here's the catch... Dr. Chidiac was on vacation for 3 weeks, after waiting 3 weeks to find out whether I had uterine cancer, (my results were negative, thank god), he spent 1 minute with me, charged me a 75.00 copay and offered me no treatment options... when I asked "What are we going to do about the fibroids"... his answer "nothing, but get another ultrasound I don't like the way this one is worded"... FOUR MONTHS after the biopsy, his office realized they didn't snag a 75.00 copay out of me and REBILLED IT AS A SURGERY... so they could get the copay. Even though my insurance company has record of them being notified there would be no copay for the biopsy... Never an apology for an oversight or mistake, instead, the woman who handles their billing, acts like a collection agent, she is rude, and aggressive, like YOU are doing something wrong. When I left Dr. Chidiac's office the day of my biopsy it was HIS OFFICE that told me there was no copay. SURELY, at some point, there should have been an apology. Horrible horrible experience, to insist a patient wait 3 weeks for a doctor to return from vacation to get results that EASILY could have been given over the phone is immoral at best. My primary care physician showed me medical guidelines, which Dr. Chidiac did not initially follow... when a woman hasn't bled for more than 12 months, medical guidelines DEMAND a biopsy... Dr. Chidiac initially sent me for hormonal blood work (June 2014), with no mention of ultrasound or biopsy. If it weren't for my primary care physician physically showing me these guidelines (February 2015) I never would have had the ultrasound and the biopsy... AVOID this office if you like to be treated like a person and not a profit center. It should be noted, I found another gynecologist who actually offered me SEVERAL treatment options for my fibroids, and after hearing this story HE WAIVED MY COPAY. read more

Dr. Chidiac is an excellent doctor but he has the most incompetent people working for him. When you call to refill a prescription be ready to wait, it should not be that way at all. You are treating with people that either are in pain or need a prescription to get better. read more

Dr Anthony Chidiac is an EXCELLENT doctor. The Best . I highly recommend him to family, friends, co-workers and whoever needs a very good OB-GYN. He is very knowledgeable and caring - with very good bedside manner. He is professional and always pleasant. I have been coming to his office for the past 8 years. Because of work I had to change doctors but returned to Dr Chidiac. During consultation/ visit he listens, which is very rare to find as doctors nowadays only have less than 10 minutes to dedicate to each patient. I had a major surgery done by Dr Chidiac 8 yrs ago, all went well, thanks to him. Throughout the years I have been under the care of other OB-GYN's in NY, MIAMI,.. Dr Chidiac ranks top of the list of great doctors. His office is always clean and staff is professional. Staff makes it easy to make appointments and calling in pharmacy to order prescriptions. If I could give them ZERO stars I would...The Doc himself is ok I guess, but VERY unprofessional Staff. They document things very poorly, couldn't even tell me when they last gave me injections of Depo on sevral occasions. On my very first visit they charged me for something that should have been free and took months to refund my money. There is always someone having a problem when I'm there. They cancel appointments the day of and sometimes don't notify you. Once they canceled my appointment and made it for the following day. When I called back to confirm they told me the new appt. was canceled and said "Nobody called you!" I'm like WTF do you think??!! (Here's a lil TMI) I been on Depo for years and have not had a menstrual cycle, during my last visit to get the depo shot I don't think it went into my arm and I expressed that to the staff they seemed to not care. Here it is a few weeks later and I get a cycle! I knew the injection didnt go in my arm properly, I could hear the fluid going back in the needle inclosure, the needle never fully penetrated my skin. Complaining is pointless because of course it will be my fault. Going to find a new place to go ASAP... Also, let me add that I went for an ultrasound to check for Fibroids and they made me wait 3 weeks to come in and pay another co-pay just to tell me there was nothing wrong....could have told me that over the phone the same day. This is a deeply unethical man who took advantage of my mother in law's uterine cancer diagnosis to steal part of her savings at a vulnerable time. After paying cash and in full, over $700 out of pocket, for office visits and tests, we were told that the lab results couldn't be given over the phone so please come by the office. There Dr Chidiac rudely and crassly told my mother she had cancer, admonished her daughter for asking simple questions (refusing to answer except with "look, I'm the doctor here",) then proceeded to scare and pressure us into paying upfront for desperately and urgently (in a few days) needed surgery that he could do. (When it came time to ask for money he suddenly became nice and actually apologized for his rude behavior in delivering the news) As my mother in law did not have the money, our family ran our credit card for a refundable $2,500 deposit to prove we could pay for surgery. He counseled us not to worry about paying the hospital, just go in the emergency room and you will never have to pay them a dime, but added "I am not doing anything unless you put down a deposit now equal to my full cost of doing the surgery." After we left the office we did some research and found out that for uterine cancer it is highly recommended that a gynecologist who specializes in oncological (cancer) cases do the surgery, and that Chidiac, who is just a regular gynecologist, was not the optimal choice to be doing such surgery. We called him to just ask some questions about how the surgery would be performed and how many cancer cases he had been involved with, and he immediately cut off the call, saying if we preferred someone else to do the surgery, he would give us our deposit back. When we dealt with a qualified gynecologist/oncologist we found out that the urgency of the surgery was exaggerated by Dr Chidiac, and that the standard in such cases is that the surgery should be done within 30 days of diagnosis. The next day when we called Dr Chidiac's office to arrange the refund of our deposit, we were informed that they could not mail me a check and that they were going to keep $250 of our money, as they were adding on an office visit charge for when they gave us the lab results. This charge was never previously discussed, and was only added on once they realized we were not doing the surgery with Dr Chidiac. Then began a long game they played, of me protesting the charge was not right, and being told I need to speak to the office manager, who when I finally get a hold of her, tells me I need to speak directly to Dr Chidiac about it, and that he would call me back. Then I suddenly get a check in the mail but $500 has been subtracted. (Note even if there was a valid office visit charge it would be $65, not $500, and $65 would be for a real office visit with an examination, not 5 minutes to rudely tell someone test results.) Of course he never does call us back, then eventually I am told that I need to come into the office to speak to him, so I get out of work early to get there in time to speak to him, but then the story changes again, he is there but refuses to speak to me, and that I am trespassing by sitting in the waiting room. I completely understand that being a doctor is a tough business, and that there are patients out there who will take services and then not pay for them. However the answer to this problem for the Doctor is not to steal $500 from the hardworking patients who do pay in full for their services. Throughout the process the office staff has been either uninformed or complicit in the theft, saying at one point "I am not getting paid enough to deal with this." Preying on patients, stealing money from them once you realize you won't be able to get any more money legitimately from them is shameful on its own. Using a cancer diagnosis and the vulnerability it creates to facilitate the act is even more despicable. If this is how he treats a 59 year old lady who has just learned she has cancer, how do you think he will treat you as a usual patient just looking for routine services? read more

There's not enough stars here to give Dr Chidiac. He is truly one in a million and deserve wayyyy more than 5 stars. This is a very educated Dr who knows his stuff. I would recommend my husband if I could. If you are looking for a very educated Dr who stays current with technology, a dr who tells it like it is AND is willing to get you through whatever you are facing WITHOUT GIVING UP ON YOU (I get teary eyed when I say this), a dr office where you are in and out within an hour, a dr office that could draw blood from very tiny tiny veins on the first try ......then this is you guy. I've been with Dr Chidiac for 21 years now and he delivered my last 4 kids. I had two normal pregnancies and 2 high risk pregnancies. I was his first patient to get the nexplanon (implant gave me too many headaches) and his first patient he removed it on. One time I passed out in his office and Dr Chidiac was right by my side when I woke up. But this last pregnancy cut the cake. I almost bleed out after giving birth to my last child and Dr Chidiac put in countless hours to save my life. He even stayed in contact with my husband. I must truly say because of Dr Chidiac expertise and the grace of my heavenly Father, I am alive today. You can't go wrong with Dr Chidiac on your team. #TeamChidiac4life read more

I don't usually complain about my bad experiences with companies or medical professionals, but if I can save someone from having the experience that I had, then I will. I was recommended to Chidiac for my pregnancy with my 1st child in 2014. I mostly went to the office on Saturdays because I didn't want to take time off work. On these days, I only saw the Physician Assistant, which is understandable. I loved the PA! Near the end of my pregnancy, I saw Chidiac, and the appointments went smooth, I really trusted him and found him to be friendly and warm. But I saw a completely different side of him on delivery day. I went into the hospital the morning of my scheduled delivery and he came in a broke my water at 10 a.m. and started me on Pitocin. I received the epidural shortly after. My labor was progressing faster than expected. The baby was in the birth canal by 2:00 p.m. and I felt ready to push around 2:30.... but where was Chidiac? All of the nurses started calling him and he wasn't answering his phone. When he finally answered, he said he was in the parking lot. 20 minutes after that he still wasn't there. I saw the nurses start to panic, so they tilted my bed- my bottom half was in the air to keep the baby inside. Chidiac finally showed up at 3:15 and I started pushing. The baby was a little too big, so he did an emergency episiotomy, and when he did he nicked the baby's umbilical chord on accident. There was blood spurting around the whole room, it looked like a massacre. He used a plunger to get the baby out finally, and when the baby came out she was as white as a sheet because she lost so much blood when he nicked the chord. I also felt light-headed from the blood loss. They had to call the NICU doctor to monitor her and make sure she was pinkening up. Thank fully, she started to pinken up in the next 15-20 minutes. I'm expecting again now, and I'm not going to Chidiac. I feel like he's getting to old to do his job properly and he just isn't providing quality, loyal service to the pregnant women who rely on him on delivery day. I know a lot of people respect him as a doctor and go to him for every pregnancy, but I am not one of those people. read more
