She takes her time with you and answers all your questions. She's courteous and makes you feel comfortable. The best OBGYN if you ask me. I love going to this office. It's clean and the office staff are friendly. There isn't a long wait to see the doctor; they always follow up. If you're looking for an OBGYN, she's the one!

She can't seem to figure out which insurance policies they accept and instead of trying to HELP you and work with your insurance company - she "suggested," i seek another doctor!!!!!! As per my insurance company they are in network... so this really just boils down to laziness and overall lack of care or consideration. Do yourselves a favor ladies and find another practice as the manager, Julie, so impolitely suggested. This way you can save yourselves the stress I had to endure. What a disappointment. Its really a true disgrace when a dr/her office you have been seeing for many years could care less about you!! AWFUL, AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

Dr Eckert basically saved my life! I was having all the symptoms of peri menopause at a young age,…read morebut the Dr I was seeing at the time was not taking me seriously, did not do blood work & literally looked at me said "you are too young, go home & make a cup of tea". Really?! Flash forward, my girlfriend told me about her Dr. (Eckert) so I went expecting to be told the same. Not only did he sit with me for about 30 mins first visit while I cried & rattled off my symptoms from depression, weight gain, night sweats to my husband & kids thinking I'd lost my mind. He immediately ordered blood work & when it came back he again sat with me to explain what it all meant & we put together a plan best suited for me. My experience has been amazing with him & whole staff! My daughter also sees him & several of my girlfriends Ive sent who also were not happy with their previous experiences with Dr's not helping them through early stages of menopause. I feel amazing, lost the weight, barely have night sweats anymore & my husband & kids like me again!

Update: Stop saying false statements to the public? Really. His character has been noted in many…read moreother reviews besides this one. I am absolutely appalled by the unprofessional, inappropriate, and outright disrespectful behavior displayed during a recent interview with your company. What should have been a standard, respectful hiring process turned into an uncomfortable and unacceptable experience that raises serious concerns about your workplace culture. Dr. Eckert conducting the interview asked bizarre and irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with the position. At one point, he questioned why a mother would choose a name like that , then followed it up with a condescending "how is that going for you?" a remark that felt mocking and deeply unprofessional. It only got worse from there. He proceeded to ask questions "are you married, do you have children." Questions that are widely recognized as inappropriate and, in many cases, unlawful in a professional interview setting. When answered calmly and professionally that the questions had nothing to do with the job. Instead of respecting boundaries, you ended the interview. That response alone speaks volumes. As if that wasn't enough, the assistant present during the interview exiting out the door after the interview followed muttered something under her breath. This kind of behavior is not just rude, it is hostile, humiliating, and completely unacceptable in any professional environment. Interviews are meant to evaluate qualifications and fit, not to belittle, interrogate personal life choices, or create an intimidating atmosphere. This experience reflects extremely poorly on your organization and should be addressed immediately. The Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits employment discrimination based on sex and other protected characteristics, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission explicitly warns against asking about marital status or children during interviews, as these questions can be used to discriminate. Additionally, under the Florida Civil Rights Act, discrimination based on marital status is illegal, and employers are not permitted to use or pursue this type of information during the hiring process.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE: They could not perform ultrasounds when I went, requiring visits to the associated OB or even the ER in urgent situations. Spent 4 hours and tons of tears in the ER because heartbeat was not detected due to this lack of in-office capability. All my medical concerns and discomfort during pregnancy were repeatedly dismissed and met with "pregnancy is uncomfortable", basically deal with it. This led to missed and delayed diagnoses, including unmanaged levels and late-detected anemia. Insensitive comments about my weight had me feeling body-shamed during pregnancy. I was once asked if I noticed the beautiful thin pregnant patient in waiting room because she was great! During my quick labor and once she actually acknowledged my pain, asking if I wanted epidural, it was too late. At one point, she yelled at me to shut up. My postpartum appointment was impersonal; she did not remember basic details about me and also asked the gender of my child she had just delivered. It was laughed off as she was so busy, how could she remember them all. The associated OB she must work with to overlook her patients, Dr. Cantero, provided rushed, impersonal care. We received quick ultrasounds without much explanation or even time to enjoy the experience. He left the room so fast once, leaving the door wide open while I was reclined half naked in the chair needing help to get up. Worst of all, he incorrectly gave us our baby's gender ensuring he was "99% sure." I still STRONGLY advise choosing a qualified OB over midwifery, especially if complications or health concerns arise. Nelly lacked empathy (possibly the knowledge) and care to send me high-risk help in my situation. With such great reviews on both providers, I felt the need to leave my honest, detailed experience hoping it helps someone. High ratings don't always mean high quality, especially when those reviews lack detail.
