Parking is usually easy to obtain although it can be crowded depending on the time of day and the day of the week that one is visiting the medical center. The restrooms are clean and fully stocked. The center itself is neat and clean. Oregon Clinic Cardiology is difficult to contact, with return calls often not addressing what the message was. My own cardiologist has been a challenge to work with but the facility itself is decent. I hope that Oregon Clinic Cardiology can take a "customer service note" from Legacy and up their game to match my experience with Legacy's excellent customer service.

Dr. Keenen listened to my history and my concerns. He presented the options clearly and made sure I understood, for the first time, the risks and benefits of each. He presented a timeline of events post surgery. He used my MRI, back models of spinal fusion and video to explain the procedure. I decided to move forward with the spinal fusion in November 2017. Within one week I reached out to her stating I did not see any improvement and her response was to give it 6 weeks. I have had other treatments in the past on my legs and was familiar with the healing time and expected results so I was concerned. At that time, I rescheduled a follow up appointment. She spent approximately 45 minutes going over my legs a second time with a different laser and on my way out of the clinic instructed me I owed her an additional $600. I stated how uncomfortable I was paying for a second service when the first service had not provided me any results. She accused me of not wanting to pay because I simply could not afford it. I am a reasonable person and very fair. However, this felt unprofessional, especially when she reminded me I signed several documents prior to my first treatment agreeing to her terms and prices. I explained to Houda that I have dry, sensitive skin and am on tretinoin, which further sensitizes skin. Certain ingredients don't mix well with tretinoin and if you're doing a peel, micro needling, etc you have to stop tret use for several days leading up to treatment. During my facial, she applied a salicylic acid mask that immediately burned my skin, to the point that my eyes were watering and it was unbearable to leave on longer than about a minute or two. By the time I got home, my skin was bright red, like a bad sunburn. By 10/11, my skin was peeling off in chunks. I emailed Houda and she replied some dryness and tightness is normal. I am now 4 days out and my entire face is still peeling in large pieces. If I was there for peel, that'd be ok, but I just went for a facial and had no intention of getting a peel and it was never discussed. Houda's response to my concerns has felt a bit dismissive and told me this is a normal reaction. If that's the case, I wish the communication had been better- I had no idea she was going to use a product that'd cause my face to peel intensely for days on end. After looking into the product used, it is not intended to cause peeling. It seems like this product shouldn't have been used on sensitive skin or on a client using tretinoin. The manufacturer of the product advised me to see a doctor regarding this reaction. Based on other reviews I know Houda can do great work, unfortunately I don't think this is a good option for people with sensitive skin looking for a facial.

Houda, the proprietor, zapped them in a matter of a few minutes and they are now completely gone. Houda also does tattoo removal - for people who lacked the good judgement not to get dolphins and Garfield that Cat tatted to their ankles back in the 80's. The salon is gorgeous and she works Tuesday - Saturday: 10 am - 6:30 pm and her prices are lower than other salons that I'd checked out. If you want to get rid of some cherry moles or ridiculous tattoos (that your mother warned you not to get), give her a call.
