I just came back from getting a gel manicure from Amber, and it's probably the best manicure I've ever received. I came in on a Saturday around 2pm, and it was pretty busy. There were a few people waiting to be seen, but I only had to wait about 15 minutes without an appointment. They have plenty of seating at the front and have coffee and beverages for anyone waiting. They offer a good variety of gel polish brands and in more colors than most salons would offer. Amber was great. She listened to my needs, fixed the terrible mess from my prior manicure, and was really gentle. She engaged in conversation the whole time, always made sure I was comfortable, and kept me updated the entire way through. Overall, the manicure looks amazing. There is not one bubble, it is perfectly coated, shaped, and cleaned. I honestly can't remember the last time I ever received such a thorough manicure where they actually took the time to make it look exactly as you would expect. Really happy about my experience here and will definitely see Amber again for my next appointment. :)

They scrub down the tubs very well and even have a sign indicating that the seats have been cleaned after the previous appointment. Pedicure: 5/5. Good, strong massage! It looked like I had rubbed my feet on sandpaper. The massage and paint were still good but the toughness of my feet looks unattractive. The experience was very soothing, and the technicians were gentle and checked in frequently to ensure the length and colors were to our liking. I have been coming to this nail salon for over a year, but unfortunately my experience has become…read moreincreasingly disappointing. Over time, they have changed my nail specialist multiple times. During my last visit, I had an appointment with Britley. I specifically told her to make sure my white tips were done properly so they would not come off, and I also asked for proper cuticle cleaning. Unfortunately, the work was poorly done, and not even a week later my tips are already coming off. I paid around $250 for a manicure and pedicure, and while money was not the issue, I expected quality service for what I paid. I had previously told Lilly that I preferred a more senior technician since Hayden had been moved to the downtown location. When I called back today asking them to fix the issue, they gave me an appointment with Hayden, who apparently is back now. However, when I tried calling again for over an hour to change the appointment time, the staff repeatedly hung up on me (which has happened before). Eventually someone answered, I politely asked if I could change the time, and they immediately hung up and blocked my number. This level of customer service is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have also personally witnessed staff mocking customers behind their backs, and it feels like they clearly have favourite clients while treating others poorly. After being a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed. The environment feels toxic, and the way customers are treated is unacceptable.
