I think this facility is about as good as it can be, based on the product it's offering. I remember…read moreback in the day, getting out of this facility was a nightmare. It's still a challenge to get thousands of people out who all want to arrive or leave at the same time, but it seems to me there are a lot more options than there used to be. We got lucky and had an uneventful departure. Out arrival was a little more challenging, but still better than anticipated. Seating remains a "get what you pay for" experience. If you're in the lawn, there's a decent chance you'll bake, unless you get unseasonably cool day. And if you're that far back, your view will not be great. But I don't think there's any way to avoid that. There are lots of restrooms and merchandise stands, along with some genuinely interesting food options. Overall, it's still the kind of place I try to avoid, but it's a very good version of the summer shed music theater. And I still call it Deer Creek. :)

They sent frequent text updates about the storm protocol and show status, which helped everyone know what to expect when it was safe to enter. That said, the venue was flooded in some areas, and by the time the gates opened, which was nearly 2 hours after the originally scheduled gate opening time, the lines to get in were quite long. We had purchased lawn tickets, which had good sightlines and reasonable pricing (~$40/ticket), but keep in mind you have to pay for a lawn chair if you want to sit, outside chairs are not permitted. Food, drinks, and merchandise were available, but the lines were long and prices were high. Leaving the venue after the show was a bit frustrating. The Uber pickup area wasn't well-marked, and it was difficult to find a ride back to our off-site parking. Cellular connection within the venue grounds is rather poor, and with so many others requesting rides, Uber was backed up. Overall, Ruoff has a decent setup and good communication, but expect some challenges with flooding, long lines, and post-show transportation.

They played a good mix of classic and modern music that we all appreciated, and it felt like they tailored their set lists to our group incredibly well. I also have nothing but good things to say about working with them in getting the gigs scheduled. They have always been quick to respond, easy to work with, and inspired plenty of confidence leading up to a show. Highly recommend these guys - they rock!

RougHouse absolutely CRUSHED it at the 2024 Irvington Halloween Ball!…read moreFrom the moment they kicked off their set, the energy was electric, and the crowd was hooked. Their mix of classic rock anthems (and a couple Halloween-themed surprises for the crowd) had everyone dancing and singing along ALL NIGHT LONG! The vocals were powerful, the guitar work was insane, and the rhythm section kept things tight and driving all night. These guys know how to command a room and deliver an engaging performance! Beyond their incredible talent and stage presence, what really stood out was their professionalism. The band showed up early, fully prepared, and worked seamlessly with the event organizers. Setup, soundcheck, and coordination were smooth as could be--they're clearly seasoned pros who know how to handle a big event. For the level of talent and performance they delivered, Roughouse is more than fairly priced. They brought the atmosphere, the energy, and a concert-quality sound! Worth every single penny--and then some. It wasn't just a show--it was a full-blown experience. The themed outfits, the stage presence, the seamless crowd interaction--it all added up to be one of the most memorable and fun Irvington Halloween Balls. If you want a band for a wedding, a corporate event, a Halloween Festival , or anything in between. Look no further!!!! RougHouse brings top-tier musicianship, a professional and hassle-free experience, with tons of fun and energy....5 stars! No question!
