And when I say organic...I mean for you, your body, your kids, your pets, your loved ones, basically organic for everyone! The shops markets itself as an eco friendly and clean boutique and it is a great find for those interested in farming, gardening, preserving, herbs, and homesteading in general. You never know if and when you will need to live off the grid! We visited on a Saturday afternoon and had just missed the morning crop swap (a great concept), where you bring your home grown produce and trade for something you need and leave your crop for others to enjoy! The shop owner is engaged and shares information about the products in the shop. I am looking forward to returning for the caffeine face mask (a 3 time use, beauty regimen)! In addition, the husband and I discussed trying the 100% Pure products (the Kona coffee scrub and eye cream smelled so good I wanted to drink them both)! I am sure we will return shortly with our own organic produce and to pick out some seeds. If you're conscious of your plastic consumption and harsh chemicals that are have become a common place in products sold in our modern society, the alternatives offered at this store and tried and true products that one can implement to start making a difference. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable of the products. I wanted to purchase essential oils for a do it yourself hand sanitizer project and the person helped me find the right product that provided the antibacterial and disinfecting properties with my partner using sanitizer quickly as a result of the pandemic. Another employee was gracious enough to help me find the right pair of Thinx underwear that was purposed created for feminine care needs. The best part about this store is it's accessibility. The internet makes it seem that to be live a sustainable life one needs to order from online companies. However, these stores are based in Seattle and New York, and with the consideration of CO2 emissions with delivery I'm glad I could find a store like this closer to me. I was excited to try this zero waste store but ended up disappointed. The older male employee with grey hair in the store was wearing their mask underneath their nose. That alone is more than enough to tell me that it isn't a store I want to shop at. The zero waste store ended up being a waste of my time. Re:Cyan I would like to clarify that I am not the person from the health department, but this solidifies the idea that you are not using the appropriate mask protocols. As you mentioned we've been in this pandemic for over a year therefore your employees have had ample time to find a mask that fits over their nose. I'm not sure why you felt the need to mention that your husband is POC. There was no racial motivations in my review. I would say 90% of all business have enacted the same protocols as your business, but they're all in vain if a mask can't be worn correctly. If you "#followthescience" you would comprehend the most effective way to prevent the spread, indoors and with others, is to wear a mask correctly. I think those that have suffered from covid would appreciate your grace in preventing the spread. read more

What were those goodies??? Top shelf CBD! I am extremely picky about the products I use and was able to purchase some pre-rolls and gummies for anxiety. Also, the pain salve that they sell is hands down the best relief out there. My husband completely destroyed his knee and has lived in pain for years before this miracle topical cream. The zero-waste refill stations are something I noticed was popular while I was there. Although this store had a small selection for herbs and Trinkets, it was still a nice place to browse and discover new things. Why I won't go back and recommend all to avoid is the lack of descent customer service. The owner (I believe) was not helpful when I asked a questioned. She did not seem interested in answering and when it was time to close she loudly stated for everyone to leave and that the store is closing.
