I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the whole showroom and the assistance I received while visiting the store to see what they have to offer. My experience was: Showroom has an impressive amount of product, and much of it has the price displayed. However, it turns out that a good deal of what is on display is old stock that isn't available. We cycled through several rounds of bids, one was incomplete (no materials), another had vastly overpriced labor, finally got a bid that we all agreed on. Then when the job was done and it was time to pay, the agreed upon bid disappeared and we were sent the vastly overpriced labor bid as an invoice. Quite a bit of back and forth settled when I sent their bid to them, as they denied that the bid we had agreed to existed. Generously, their estimating process and record keeping needs a lot of improvement. Most of the work done was good, generally very good. Some of the detail work was not good. I had already paid my invoice when I contacted Ralph's about the issues. No response to texts, emails, voicemails. Finally got ahold of my rep, she led with "well, they all do that", which pretty much set the tone of the conversation. Needless to say, no, they never followed up with me after promising to do so, and at this point I'll just hire someone else to complete the job. Check cashed=customer no longer exists. Summary: mostly good result, but there's got to be better options in the area.

Then, this salty woman told me picking out flooring was not for me. Joke is on you bc everyone who has toured my home loves all of the flooring I picked out. So classless of you! We had Fairhaven Floors install flooring and stair carpeting in our home. The floor installation…read morewas mostly fine, the stair carpeting was chaotic, and in both cases there was unfinished work. The owner made several promises to fix the unfinished bits, while stating that it wasn't going to be possible to properly do so, but never did come back and complete the work. Three and a half years later, I'm having flooring done in another part of the house, and the flooring guy was quite easily able to address the issues with the carpet and floor installation that Fairhaven left unfinished. Yes, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. My mistake for paying before the job was 100% complete.

The initial bid was to remove the carpet and refinish the original wood floors while also installing new wood floors in the remaining living areas. Once they started the work, though, we found that the original floors had issues and there were several necessary support beams missing, all while I was coordinating a move from Seattle and trying to be out of storage and into the house by the end of May. Mike and his team bent over backwards to accommodate me - they fit me in around other jobs, worked on weekends, helped find someone to fix the beams on very short notice and met the original schedule - all at an affordable price. They were professional, did an excellent job of communicating where we were in the process and the floors are beautiful.

The showroom was great, Mike helped us pick out great LVP and carpet, and then as the job was started, the lockdown hit! Morris managed to manage the ever changing restrictions, and also rolled with the punches when our flooring came up and revealed a pretty wonky surface underneath. They levelled the floor like pros - it's amazing the amount of work they did! Could not be happier. We couldn't even be there, as we live in Canada, and the border was closed, preventing us from getting to our Cabin at Mt. Baker, they did the whole thing remote, sending us photos. Could not give a bigger thumbs up for the entire crew at Morris Floors!
