A year later my wife and I moved to San Rafael, CA. So neither my son or I were in Chicago anymore. Michael handled the sale of Andy's condo and set up the closing for us with a local attorney. It was handled in a highly professional way and I'd definitely work with Michael again if we were ever to do something in the Chicago area again. I've worked with several real estate agents over the years as Lynn and I changed residences. Michael was one of the best we've worked with and I highly recommend his services. In the interim....stay safe, wear a mask and make it a great day!

I signed up the site to find a buyer agent and Rich contacted me that evening, Thanksgiving evening! He spent quite a bit of time asking exactly what I was looking for and set me up with a website I could log into to see condos that met my criteria. I found ones that I wanted to look at, we met and looked at a few places. I found a place I liked, he helped me with negotiation then helped me find a great home inspector and an excellent lawyer. He helped me with any questions I had, which I had more than a few, and I've got a condo now! I recommend Rich and the Harty Group. I was a bit afraid that since I was looking for a cheaper place, that I wouldn't get the best help or that I would need to pay out of pocket for an agent, but there was no need to worry. I am so pleased with the service Rich provided! He really knows his stuff and seems to enjoy doing what he does, helping people find their new home.

Our first transaction with him back in 2000 he caught a mistake in our closing statement that was different than what we agreed to and would have given him more money but he pointed out the mistake and that was enough for us--he is honest and has integrity and we can't say that about everyone in this business. We have referred family members and business associates to him over the years without hesitation. Ralph has been our exclusive realtor for 25 years and we can't recommend him enough. I have been working with Mark for 12 years and have bought and sold multiple properties with him…read more He is an absolutely fantastic real estate agent to work with, 100% recommended. What impresses me most about Mark is that he puts his client's interest above his own. As a buyer, he helps you negotiate the price down even though that's less money in his pocket. As a seller he helps you walk away from deals that are not in your best interest, even though it means a lot more work for him. In my most recent sale with Mark, I lived 6 hours away so it was difficult for me to do everything that needed to be done with the property to be ready. Mark was instrumental in working with contractors, working with tenants, showing the building, communicating with me, and generally working his butt off to get the deal done. Amazing. And if that's not enough, Mark has a tremendous team behind him. He has great people that he works with like contractors, lawyers, mortgage brokers, and property inspectors, that are instrumental to the process. We obviously knew very little going in (although my wife is a researcher-supreme, so we were at least not caught completely off-guard), and Mike made every step of the process painless and easy to understand. He's patient, respectful, and does his due diligence; he gave us helpful advice about all aspects of the homebuying process, and his insight helped us make good decisions that we'd have otherwise had more trouble making. Realistically, people are in real estate to make money, right? The nice thing is, we never for a second felt like this was a factor in Mike's approach to us; he didn't try to up our budget (actually, he tried to be pretty conservative until we gave him the thumbs up to start climbing) and made it crystal clear that the important end result was a place we'd love AND feel comfortable with financially. My Yelp account is basically a place for me to highlight food joints I've really enjoyed, but Mike is such a great guy, and such a gem of a realtor that I wanted to make sure other people got the chance to check him out and hopefully work with him in the future. Whatever your goal is, he won't disappoint you. Also, his suits are killer!
