I read their Google reviews, which I thought were good. Now I wish I would have come here for a more accurate picture. I called their listed phone number. No one answered & I got an automated message that noted the mailbox is full, so I couldn't leave a message for anyone to call me back. About a half hour or so later, I got a text from a different number, unknown to me, that simply said, "Please text me." Kind of creepy but I reached out & said, "Looking for land survey for a property I just purchased." 6 minutes later I got a response that only included a contact named "Red Bluff Office" with a phone number. I called the number & A woman answered. She was a bit short on the phone & I had to drag out the process she/they would conduct in order to provide me with the property lines I needed in order to install a fence. That was a week ago. No call. No text, no email. there has been no communication what so ever & reaching anyone, is literally impossible. Thankfully, I didn't pay anyone for anything, which was never asked of me, or I would have done so right away. The woman I spoke with said she'd research to see what she could find & would call the following day. That was a week ago. I don't believe this company is legitimate at all. I really should have taken the fact that no one answered my call & I got a weird, unprofessional terse text back, as a HUGE red flag. Wanting to assume the best, I gave the company a chance. They just ... failed, miserably. My search for a reputable, residential land surveyor continues as Realm is in another realm of reality :/ read more

Terrible service and communication. Realm outsourced all of my projects such as blueprints, energy calculations and soil samples to other companies then charged me 50 to 60% on top. I had repeatedly asked Realm to clarify which part of the work they were actually doing. I received no meaningful explanation. They told me to pay them and be grateful they did not charge me double. If you are building a new home, I would highly recommend getting a list of what needs to be done from your counties building department. Take a few minutes to look up companies that will do blueprints, energy calculations, soil samples etc and just place the orders yourself. Although all communications were polite, throughout my interaction with Realm Engineering, communications were inefficient and untimely, resulting in work commencing without asking or confirming what I wanted done- resulting in over 1k$ worth of work that I hadn't needed. Estimates that I requested were simply forwarded emails with imprecise information regarding time, scope of work and cost breakdowns and were completed days over the promised deadlines. After weeks of back and forth, I paid up and will use a different firm in the future. read more

This firm lacks communications skills; all appointments were at the convenience of the firm, not its client, and changes that were asked to be made, were made on one draft, then on the next draft they weren't there. Very inconsistent. Kept on missing requested changes; it was very frustrating. They were not familiar with the building style we wanted. read more
