But I can say that I love Dr. Johns and his staff, and I feel super comfortable with them. This is a really no-nonsense, get in and get out, all very professional office and team. I don't experience trouble getting appointments or long wait times. The setting is super clean and warm, not overly cold and scary-sterile like so many. Basic well-woman exams, mammograms, sonograms of all sorts, getting blood work done, etc. -- it's all quick, pretty painless, and you're made as comfortable as possible considering. I've been seeing Dr. Johns for about 12 years now, and have no plans to change doctors. I always feel really safe and wholly taken care of. He performed a minor surgery on me years ago, and again, all went well. When I was first looking for a primary care office to set up with I initially searched online and called around to various practices to ask questions and figure out which practice might be right for me and my family. Some places I called either didn't want to take the time to answer my questions, didn't know the answers or just didn't seem very friendly/caring. When I called here, the person on the phone was super friendly, didn't make me feel rushed and patiently answered my many questions. I then decided later that day to make an appointment (but at that point it was after hours on a Friday) and was able to do everything online, while they were closed - including scheduling my own appointment - I didn't have to wait for them to reopen after the weekend. It was amazingly convenient and easy to do. I've seen Megan approx 4-5 times now, I love the convenience of self scheduling online and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. You can do in-person or online (depending on what you need) and I've done both so far, both were on time and easy to do. If you like the convenience of self scheduling with a tech-forward practice, or you're tired of feeling like a number on an assembly line, or tired of dealing with a doctor who doesn't listen and only spends 5 minutes with you, then absolutely check out this place for care. We were told our son has a mild case that may resolve on it's own but we should consider seeing them every two weeks and him wearing a brace they would provide. Upon trying their suggestion, we realized our son would be traumatized and we decided to not move forward. 4 months later we got a surprise bill of $450 and another for $160. On calling they explained they don't need to disclose anything and looking back 5 months of visits, we would be thousands of dollars of surprise bills coming our way months later. Their reasoning is: we don't make the price this is what insurance deductibles are. Complete blame shift and lack of morals here. I do believe they have decent doctors, but not decent procedures in place. If it isn't illegal, it sure should be. Please do your homework and attempt to get answers up front.
