Also, the Google Maps location is a bit off, so you might need to wander around a little to find it in like the next building over. Once you're there, just go past the counter to the back and check out the freezer cases of goodies. Be aware that it is a mix of vegetarian ("vege" in the name) and vegan items, so some things may have milk products in it (but I don't think anything had eggs last I checked). Also, their selection of items changes, so just because you found it there on e doesn't mean you'll find it again (like those Lypid thick cut "bacon" slabs). Other thing to be aware of is that payment is either by cash or Venmo (and the Venmo goes to a person's name rather than "Vegefarm"), so be prepared for that! The offerings are more diverse than what you'll find at most Asian markets' vegetarian section, and the prices are a bit better, too (not to mention the apparent turnover). They do have some little specials posted on a piece of paper on the front of the freezer cases, too, so keep an eye out or ask the person at the front desk. Each time I have gone it's been the same lady, and she's always been helpful and friendly. The place is kept reasonably clean (on par with most Asian markets I frequent), too, but the hand written prices can occasionally be tough to read. Pretty sure I'll be a regular customer going forward now, though, LOL!

I walked in and the person mentioned at the front said it is not a normal grocery store and I couldn't look around and very courtly said goodbye. Seems that there might be some misunderstanding here or at least not particularly friendly people working at the moment, at least to me.

For this specific meal, I'm not sure I would so inclined to pay full price for the meal prep since it is cheaper and very easy to make this at home. That said, I can see the appeal for those who are just too busy overall and want fast, healthy meals without having to cook. Overall, glad to have tried another local establishment. Would recommend trying this on 2G2G first if you're not sure you'll like the food.

Staff tends to be fairly stable and many of their items friendly people who serve me have been here for some time. I generally find folks to be super helpful. I also trust their fish department - something I don't do at some of the other grocery stores. And, as I said,t heir meat department in general is quite good. The store is well stocked and well-run -- it's always a pleasant stop when I can drop in. I'd probably give it a 5th star if I could find a way to do most of my shopping there, which I just can't. But I love it nevertheless - even through the myriad name changes it's experienced over the past decade or so as they've somewhat inexplicably changed their name several times. (Mid-life crisis? They are right next door to Home Depot and I never go there unless I have to do major hardware shopping like lumber. So it's unclear whether I would make the effort to go to Mega Mart except to get stacks of short ribs or shabu shabu meats.
