They're okay. I ordered a regular bubble tea and a taro tea. They used powders for both of them--including the milk. The boba was good, or so I thought, until I bit into a hard boba. And then another, and another. I had to spit the hard ones out as they were inedible.

Freehold Raceway Mall has new bubble tea place. It's nice to have another option other than Coco's. Ordered was a medium Classic Milk Tea with bubbles at a whopping $6.39. Made with liquid sweetener, milk powder and shots of black tea from a machine?!? Overall the drink was OK. The tapioca pearls were rubbery in the middle and somewhat soft on the outside. The black tea was underwhelming. I would pass on the Classic Milk Tea. Real Fruit is known for their Mango Fruit Teas. Next time! Stay tuned!

We went for a Harry Potter theme and were treated to a cute lore to go along with our afternoon tea tower. Starting with a polyjuice potion antidote (tea infused lemonade), having a wide selection of themed teas in addition to their normal large selection, and then the tea tower itself was filled with a flavorful assortment of savory and sweet items. To top it all off the staff gets paid a proper wage so tipping is optional (huge props to the ownership for this!). Not to mention, the staff is absolutely delightful to interact with, and their selection of ala carte treats and even the afternoon tea itself was incredibly reasonably priced. I'll definitely be checking back to see what themes they come up with in the future!

The theming was a little weak but the food itself was good, which is the important part. Each person got 3 savories representing 3 of the 4 houses (apparently Hufflepuff was forgotten ) , a vanilla scone, and a pecan tart, matcha cookie and lemon meringue tart. Their tea menu was also pretty extensive, and had something even for picky me. Also wanted to make sure I point out that Sweet Tease doesn't require tipping, which (hopefully) means they pay their staff fairly. I think that's worth a shout-out considering it's one of a handful of places I've been to that have made this statement. Overall a good time! They apparently have new themes pretty frequently so we'll likely be back at some point!
