He over charged my insurance and then when it was time to pick my car up he said it was ready for pick up and when i arrived here he said i had to pay out of pocket for part he got extra. When he said it was ready.Which doesnt make sense that my car was ready and he wanted to charged more. They are also doing foul business with the tow trucks and charging more . I dont know if it cause im young he try to play me and on top of that the owner said he bought parts from The dealer BMW . But was a lie because he bought used parts and said they were brand new. I want everyone who reading his reviews to really take your car to a place where people are genuine. these people are scammers and as im leaving all the workers were all in a circle talking and try to block my vechicle inside . I have never been in such an evil place . It's crazy because he was very nice in the beginning but towards the progress things were changing and he wasn't keeping me updated with any information. He fixed my driver rear door ( one of the hardest parts of a vehicle to repair damage on when not replacing the door ) that scraped a pole back to looking like brand new and smooth like glass...like it was never ever been painted which is the ultimate compliment any body shop can receive. My front bumpers lip was scratched and the paint was starting to fade as you can tell in the before pictures. Besides getting a very fair price as I was paying out of pocket, the pictures speak for themselves. I recently smashed/scraped the side of my 2006 Toyota Corolla on a column in a parking structure. Luckily, no one else was involved, but it was annoying because I knew that it would probably be expensive and I naively thought I should just pay it out of pocket. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I've never had to go to a body shop here in L.A.--I get all my tune-ups from my dealership and since my car is new and ridiculously reliable, I never need any major repairs. I found an auto repair shop on Yelp with decent reviews and was directed to the Real Body Shop. I believe it is family-owned and I thought that was nice. Arthur is who I dealt with primarily, but anyone who answered the phone when I called was very helpful. WHAT I LIKED: -The actual repair was impeccable. They even painted over minor scratches on my bumper not located near the impact area. My car looks brand new. -They advised me to use my insurance and I ended up spending $250 on a repair that was almost $2,000. Even though my premiums will go up some, it's still definitely the better choice and I'm glad they explained that to me. -Their estimate was almost exactly what my insurance company estimate was, so I know they're honest. WHAT WAS KIND OF ANNOYING: (To be honest, none of the following is too terrible--just a little inconvenient.) -Even though it says they open on 8 a.m. on Saturdays on their website, they really don't open until around 9:30 a.m. -I had to rush them my payment because they needed to deposit money in the bank and initially, I thought it seemed a little shady, but now that I've gone through the whole process and got such a deal, I'd still definitely do business with them again. This is the best body shop I've encountered in California! I was referred to them by a friend who has a classic car she loves with an unusual paint color that they've always been able to match if she endured any significant scratches. I have a black Jaguar convertible that was hit by someone when it was parked along a side street. Real Body Shop delivers superb quality auto body work when it comes to paint job. These guys know color, metal and shape. I was extremely happy with the results on my car on two different occasions. I can say they do a great job of 'undo' when it comes to damages to your vehicle. So about two weeks ago my window came off track and fell inside the door, and i needed of course to get it repaired, out of desperation i stopped at the first Body Shop I could find to temporarily fix my window and get a quote, long story short they quoted me $380. Luckily i told them I would wait and shop around for another quote. A few days later I recalled a co-worker promoting her father's shop, so I figured I'd give them a try. Went to get a quote, brought the original quote so they would know exactly what parts were suggested. After talking to Naz, one of the owners, he discovered I only needed one of the 3 parts, and he thoroughly went over all the parts required for the window and what i needed in order for my window to work properly. Naz was patient, and wanted what was best for my car and my budget. I ended up only paying $165 vs. $380. Saving me $200 dollars. The work was done w/in an hour and my car was done in a flash. They originally told me 3-4 days (which sounds right for the damage) and then they called in a day and a half & it was all done- I was elated. So quick! They also detailed my car (which other body shops don't necessarily do) so it was super nice to get a clean car back- better than when I brought it in. I brought in my 2004 Toyota Tacoma damaged from an accident and left with a truck that looks practically brand new!! The body work, paint job, paint blending is impeccable. The owners want you to be completely satisfied. Naz, one of the owners, is meticulous which reflects in his work. Though an owner, Naz repairs the vehicles along with his staff. The only difficult experience was with the insurance companies. Though under what the shop desired for payment, the shop graciously accepted the insurance company's final estimate (offered a ridiculously low amount at onset - requested numerous supplements). Elated with the outcome and because extra work was done at no cost, I offered to pay more. However, the shop refused my offer. Everything looked great.....yeah like everyone who has given them positive reviews says...but wait a couple of years they repainted the fender on my H3 referred by the dealer to them why I don't know?? clear coat started to peal took it back they wanted to charge me to re-do their bad work....This should have been a warranty deal the rest of my car looks like brand new...of course they did not touch that. I clearly remember them saying when I had it done "Any problems if anything wrong bring it back"...yeah so they can charge me to fix it all over again. Should have at least lasted as long as the GM dealer factory paint if the dealer referred me. Also they stated that they removed the fender but didn't to paint it the new body shop showed me the over spray on the rubber seals. I have a classic 1965 Buick Wildcat that I took to Real Body Shop. It sat at our family farm in Sanger, CA for over 30 years. It was rusted out and just a mess after I wrecked it as a kid. I did not want to part with the car because it was my mom and dad's car, and my sister drive me to high school and I took my drivers' test in that car. Fast forward, Nazoe, the owner of the Real Body shop in Van Nuys, CA restored my car from the frame up. He didn't cover up the rust with Bondo but took the painstaking time to weld metal into the rusted out areas which covered most of the car. He also made by hand, parts that I could not find after searching for over two months. Nazoe turned my car into a show car, which I do go to, and that car has brought back a lot of good memories and joy to a lot of people. He also oversaw and contacted the restoration of the interior and engine. Everytime I go to shows, people always ask, who restored your car and I tell them the genius at the Real Body shop, Nazoe, and without question, I pass out his business cards.
