I had questions about what type of appointment my needs would be and she scoffed at my lack of understanding. She then told me I would need to find my birth control records from over 10 years ago to even schedule an appointment. I asked why and she told me her providers are so booked in advance I should just try somewhere else and hung up. I'm sure the providers here are lovely but you seriously need a new receptionist. She's the first person people speak to so she's the face of your company and it's not a nice face.

They tell you on the phone when you schedule and also have you sign a legally binding contract to let you know they will nickel and dime you for every darn thing you unfortunately had scheduled for your nether-regions in the first place. But these people can call you 15 minutes before your appointment, you know, the one you're literally almost at, the one you found someone to watch your kids for to only have them call and say that the OB is tied up in a birth. I'm sorry, was the practice unaware an hour prior when I was sent check in paperwork, or how about 30 mins prior when the doctor was obviously still not there and ready!?! 15 friggen minutes. Be better if you expect your patients to do the same. My time is just as valuable as yours.

Well, at my old doc--I never got to see her, she was always gone delivering babies. I went 3 years seeing her nurse practitioner and not seeing my doctor. Now, I get to see doctor Barndthouse everytime. He calls you personally with your test results, even if nothing is wrong. I admit, at first I was scared to go to a "man" and he was my first man gyno. Get over it and go see him. If you are at the stage of your life where you are done having kids, and I don't mean old just done with babies everywhere--this is a great practice with super friendly staff and a wonderful and caring doctor. I hope he doesn't retire because I am unaware of anyone else in the metro who only does gyno and not OB.

I ended up, at 20 weeks going in to find the gender of our baby, only to actually find out he had NO Heartbeat. To make matters worse, after my choice of giving birth to him, she wrote him down as 17 weeks so he was not considered a real child, no death certificate or stillborn certificate and basically acted like it was a bother to go back and change records after I suggested so. I ended up going elsewhere to have a third child after two other miscarriages and it was the best decision. Please advocate for yourself and get second opinions if you feel like you are not being listened to.

The referral location repeatedly said they never received the referral, and I had to call four separate times to get it resent. After nine months of trying, I finally got the HSG done elsewhere. Since then, I have been rescheduled five times for a PCT test. Every cancellation has been the day of or the day before, despite the test requiring strict timing and time off work. I even arranged with my employer to adjust my schedule for a last-minute change, and that appointment was also canceled. This level of disorganization is unacceptable, especially for patients dealing with time-sensitive fertility testing. It is clear this practice cannot reliably manage appointments or support patients through an already stressful process. I will be seeking care elsewhere and would caution others to be aware of these repeated issues.
