The change was effective 3/25/2019. I receive notice on 3/28/2019. I called Diamond Springs on 4/1/19 for clarification and was informed Ready Fresh should have sent out new customer notifications. I called ReadyReFresh on 4/1 who said they had sent out notices. (The notice came on 4/4/2019). First couldn't find me without customer#. Located me with my phone#. Delivery date would stay the same but nothing else. Prices & delivery fees were higher, water brand would switch to Nestle's water (which I hate). Cancelled service with Readyrefresh.

UPDATE The service outage was an anomaly. Several individuals were ill and couldn't be at work and one person could not successfully juggle everything. I received a call today. Business Review: LHWS of NC - A Nightmare Experience If…read moreyou're considering Water Leaf of NC for your water filtration needs, I urge you to run in the opposite direction. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare--filled with lies, deception, and complete disregard for customer service. Deceptive Sales Tactics I hired LeafWater of NC to install a sulfur water filter for my newly purchased home. The salesman, Mr. Farr, knowingly sold me a system that was not capable of handling my sulfur levels. His water tests should have clearly indicated this, yet he proceeded with the sale, hiding the fact that the system wouldn't work. After installation, they instructed me to "run the system for two weeks" to allow it to cycle and function properly. That was a blatant lie. I later discovered that the system cycles in just 20 minutes--meaning if it didn't work immediately, it never would. They knowingly installed a useless system. False Promises & Poor Installation Failure to Connect the Refrigerator: Mr. Farr assured me they would connect my refrigerator water line. They didn't. When I called him about it, they said they would charge me an entire new installation fee to come back. Obviously, I refused. Delayed Installation: They scheduled my installation 10 days later than I needed it. When I found out the system didn't work, they scheduled another 10-day delay before attempting to fix it. Lazy Troubleshooting & More Lies: When the technician finally arrived, he claimed that two water lines were "flipped backward" and told me, again, to wait two more weeks for it to work properly. But as I already knew, the system cycles in 20 minutes, not two weeks! Useless "Process" to Avoid Taking Responsibility: After it was clear the system was faulty, they refused to take it back. Instead, they scheduled another technician visit 10 days out again, just to "read the panel." This was just another stall tactic. Customer Service is a Joke I called Water Leaf at least ten times, and every response was a robotic, scripted excuse. They refused to pick up the faulty system without first sending a technician--who, when he finally came, arrived in a car with no way to remove the system! When I explained this was pointless, he called his boss, and I received the same zombie response: "We have a process." Translation? "Screw you, we're keeping your money." Even Water Leaf's corporate office in Ohio attempted to intervene, but their calls to the Greensboro branch were ignored. That was two weeks ago--and Water Leaf still refuses to take back the filter. How I Finally Escaped This Scam Thankfully, I disputed the charge with my credit card company, which refunded my money and promised to take Water Leaf to court if they fight it. Today, I had a fully functioning sulfur filter installed by a reputable company (K-N-T-Co). Their installer confirmed that Water Leaf is infamous for being the biggest crooks in the area. To make matters worse, I found out that: Mr. Farr was fired from K-N-T-Co before Water Leaf hired him. This very house had a Water Leaf filter installed 7 years ago--and it was immediately returned! Mr. Farr was the salesman back then, too. He came here, recognized the house, knew the system wouldn't work, and still scammed me anyway. Final Verdict: Avoid Water Leaf of NC at All Costs Their sales team lies and hides critical information. They delay installations and repairs to stall customers. They refuse to take back faulty systems. Their customer service is worthless. I strongly recommend going with a trusted local company instead. If you're in North Carolina, stay far away from Water Leaf--unless you enjoy being lied to and scammed.

Amber and John had high levels of customer service and found a solution for us that would work the best. We ended up settling on a water filter with no softener. The master plumber Todd came out on time, and performed the job cleanly. One small part was missing, and the owner came right over to replace it to ensure the job was completed on time. So A+ on customer service. The water filter did an incredible job filtering out chemicals; it was unbelievable how much better showering and other living functions were with the filter. I am bald so I often get scabs on the top of my head, which was caused by chlorine drying out my scalp. No more! I had a fantastic experience with this company and would recommend for anyone looking for a water system.

Stuart came out, tested the water and his great understudy, Jeremy, installed a RO system under our kitchen sink and ran a RO line to our fridge. Our second home (Durham) is were his expertise shined! When we moved into our 25+ yr old home we got 3 quotes as we needed a new well pump, well tank, RO and softener (VERY hard water). We learned the hard way by going with a company that could "do it all" (with good reviews) as Stuart doesn't do wells and our choice turned into a nightmare. The newly installed softener head broke 3 x's thus causing a sulfur smell in our water as the lack of backwash contaminated the lines. Said company chlorinated and even replaced the softener fully, but could not remedy the smell. (Note: smell occurred only after softener head broke.) The kitchen RO tank was also not holding as much water as it could have and lacked pressure. New well pump fried as they forgot to ground it at the head. Back and forth and months of frustration we finally called Exquisite Air & Water for help. Stuart and I had many emails and phone calls determining how to proceed. His patience and knowledge a gift as we were distraught going through what I just mentioned. Under Stuart's discretion, kind and patient Jeremy placed a new easy to use softener system, carbon filter, and big blue pre-filter in. They even got our RO system to hold more water in the RO tank and have a more powerful stream at the sink. How we wish we would have gone with Exquisite Air & Water from the start! Fair pricing.
