Ive used the Ready Refresh water service for the past two years. Their website is pretty poor and was a pain to make changes on, but the service was regular and decent I have recently moved and set up service in Oxnard, CA. The first delivery day a no show, the second day a no show, the third day a no show. I finally cancelled the service and requested my equipment picked up, another no show. I have called repeatedly, so clearly neither the drivers nor management can do their job properly. I've rescheduled my pickup for tomorrow again. What a waste of my time and energy. read more

Similar to other reviewers here, I'm really getting tired of Ready Refresh's scheduling issues. As another reviewer said, when it was Poland Springs, it was great; Ready Refresh... Not so much. On several occasions they keep rescheduling delivery. In one case, they rescheduled day-by-day which ended up being a whole week late. The delivery person is pleasant and always has a smile - this review isn't against him. But Ready Refresh's unapologetic horrible scheduling without any offers to "make up for" the issues is leading me to looking for a new delivery service. read more

Horrendous customer service. We had constant struggles with them to get them to deliver what we actually wanted when we wanted. When they jacked up their rates without warning, we cancelled. Then they delivered to us again, bottles we did not ask for or want, and refused to refund them. Further, when we returned our last bottles for deposit, they refused to refund us the deposit money -- they just show we have an account balance owing us money that they won't pay. If you decide to sign up with them anyway, definitely do not give them a credit card for automatic payments. Once you do, the only way to remove it is by **faxing** a paper form to head office in Kentucky, because that's how little they care about customer service. read more

complete rip off company is designed to keep charging you with no way to make it stop . I canceled account and every since have been billed for water delivery that I never received. No one will respond back from email and phone calls are redirected to message with no voice mail. The one time I got a hold of someone after hours on hold waiting person hung up as soon as they knew it was a complaint. I started as a Poland Spring customer in 1989 and was relatively happy until fairly recently. I have made a number of attempts to contact customer support since October and several more attempts to cancel my account since February. They refuse to answer their customer services or respond to emails to their customer service email address. They made a delivery after I had attempted to cancel my account on several occasions and charged my credit. This service is worse that the cable companies in the 1980's. read more

I cannot believe the complete incompetence of this company. It took two weeks to even get in touch with anyone. I set up delivery for our dispenser and four 5 gallon tanks. It was supposed to get here between 8am-12. It is now 2:30 and I haven't heard a thing from anyone. The website is constantly down (the internet isn't new and you shouldn't have this many problems) and it takes ages to connect on the phone (if they're not telling you that they can't even take calling unless they're related to password reset- seriously??!?). I ordered something from amazon yesterday afternoon and IT WAS THERE THAT SAME AFTERNOON. I cannot believe how awful this company is. And this is our first delivery. Nestle should be embarrassed. *just spoke with someone (after being on hold for 20 minutes...then another 10...then another 5). Apparently, even though someone else earlier in the day assured me the delivery was on its way, there was a problem in their system so the driver never got the downloaded ticket for delivery. Got a CostCo 'Deal' of free delivery/rental and bottle only 7.95 for each bottle. Well sounded great. Then the monthly bill cam in at 35 a month. I tried the website and it says to call unable to help at this time. I call the customer service line and was meet with this person that was insulting and demeaning. I just wanted to know why I was getting charged 35 for two bottles of water. The answer: two bottles, rental and delivery fee plus tax. When I explained the Costco deal she said she didn't have it on record. I then asked to be reimbursed and the answer was no. I said I took a picture of the promotional woman and flier at Costco (which I did) and the answer changed to yes. Amazing how that works. Then I asked why my delivery date has changed to a random day every month and she said its every 30 days... Okay I said but I asked it to be every first Wednesday of the month. Then the answer was we don't do that you will have to manual change that on the website (which I new and had done so) I let her know that I did and she said I don't have record of that. I told her I screen shot it (which I did) and the answer changed to, 'oh, yeah I see that now.' Lesson from this. They will try to take as much money as possible and lie to you. If your going to deal with them then make sure you record everything. In the end they canceled my account and I'm left with the bubbler and 4 empty water bottles that I would love to have them pick up so they don't turn around and charge me later. read more

Listen to these reviews and avoid them like the plague. I was a customer for a long time with Poland Spring but everything changed when Ready Refresh took over. As we speak I'm on the phone trying to cancel this mess and the dispatcher, who speaks perfect English by the way, cannot seem to grasp that I'm calling to CANCEL. Horrible customer service! If there was an option for no star that is what they would get. After ReadyRefresh has been bought out their delivery has become so unreliable. This is the third this month that they have rescheduled. The first one they rescheduled and never turned up. I tried to speak to a customer service and there was no human to talk to. I then went to my account to check the scheduled to see if they rescheduled it. Well, they must have decided that I don't need deliver this month that they scheduled it for next month. I then rescheduled it for October 6th and I just received an automated call saying they have rescheduled it for October 7th. I am not holding my breath! Awful, rip-off company looking to raise or charge fees wherever they can. 2019 saw big increase on 5-gallons (each year too). They charge and increase delivery/energy fee constantly. Never heard of such fee. And now they will charge $3 for paper bills. Never heard of that either. And like every review here, the phone wait is beyond. They don't want calls. They also forget what agreement they have made with you, thus prices resume at their preferred. Their website is lacking functions. This is a review for Poland Springs (aka Ready Refresh) water delivery. I switched over to Poland Springs for business and personal (home) accounts after having used Crystal Rock for a few years. I'm pleased with the change in vendors. The Poland Springs delivery person shows up when scheduled, plus I'm notified by text message at least three days before delivery reminding me of the delivery giving me time to edit or skip the delivery if necessary. It appears to be a little more expensive than Crystal Rock, but I've found it worthwhile due to Poland Spring's reliability. read more

First, they don't come when they say they will. They have a texting system that should work if they used it correctly. They text you saying they are coming, then don't show up or they text you after they show up. They have raised their prices multiple times and during covid. The worst is that now, you can't even call. They only work via email now which they take a month to reply to. You can't edit anything online, so you can't cancel your membership or edit your payment. I tried canceling for over a month via so many emails after I returned everything, and they are not closing my account. First, they said I needed to return the water cooler, which I did already. Then they said I needed to return 2 water bottles which I also did already. Crazy how this company is still going. If you look them up, they have 1-star across the board. This water delivery service has gone downhill over the past year. Prices have gone up. And service has gone down. Rented a cooler and a day after I got it the hot water didn't work. Didn't bother complaining or getting it fixed. Then started receiving messages that they couldn't deliver on delivery date. Had to reschedule. Then I was receiving text message that water was delivered and it was never delivered and I was paying for this product. Needless to say, I'm no longer a customer. Beware with the rising pricing. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Really I so wish. They have changed and rescheduled multiple deliveries on me. That...I could slightly overlook. However this time... no...my rented cooler broke. It was no longer cooling the water. I called up and I scheduled to have it exchanged. They give me a time frame, I have to be home between 8am to 1pm. Fine, I rearanged my schedule to accomodate that. 1pm comes and they are still not here. I call customer service and they told me that the delivery will be late. New time is 3:45pm to 4:45pm. I am BS that no got in touch with me to let me know that. My husband then calls at 4:30 and asks where are they. Get this...they told him delivery was canceled because the system said we weren't going to be home. Then he gets a manager on the phone and the man said that the driver ran into complications around 2:30 so he couldn't complete the delivery. What????!!! So if I want cold water I need to hang around the house again because now they will kindly deliver between 2 to 5 tomorrow. All I can say is if you are contemplating this company....run! Poland Springs was a great, service oriented company as it should be. It's unfortunate acquisition by Nestle and re-branding as Ready Refresh is a travesty. It has mutated into everything a service business should not be. Their "updated" website IS AWFUL, an exercise in frustration. This is from a Fortune 500 company? If I wasn't the aggrieved customer, my entire experience with them has been so bad it would be funny. My only hope now is that I can cancel my service without wasting any more time dealing with them. I would not use this service again. Delivery is not reliable. After their repeated text reminders about delivery, I lug out all my empty bottles for them to take, and they repeatedly cancel/reschedule the delivery. From the beginning, my water dispenser did not work properly (both levers deliver the same temperature water even though one is for cold and one is for room temperature), and they never fixed it or replaced it. Now without warning they increased the prices SIGNIFICANTLY (with my delivery it will amount to $18 more per month) so I am cancelling. read more

What a Nightmare... Good product, but you better pray you don't have to speak to their customer service team. I am moving and reached out to understand what I needed to do... Every time you call you get a different response. Seems like there isn't any training for these folks because they have no clue how they're company works. I was told that they would need to pickup the new dispenser and then drop off a new one at my new address. I then got an email confirming that they would be picking up the dispenser from the new place where i don't live yet. I called back and they explained that my address should not have been changed yet. So i scheduled for pick up from 12pm-5pm... I waited until 7pm and no one showed. I reached out multiple times during this time frame to check in on the status and kept receiving different responses. The final response i received was "they're probably not coming out anymore, you should have scheduled further in advance just in case something like this happened". WOW! I am now supposed to move my dispenser with me because that's what i should have been told in the first place according to the rep.
