I've been a Ready Refresh customer for over 3 years, and everything was fine until March when my deliveries suddenly stopped. I waited for months thinking it would be resolved, and finally in June I called to cancel. It took over 3 hours on hold just to speak with someone and officially cancel my account. Fast forward; I am STILL being charged every month, even though I cancelled. I have emailed multiple times, and they simply don't respond. I refuse to sit on the phone for another 3 hours just to say the same thing again. This company is like a gym membership you can't escape; they keep charging you even after you cancel. To begin, they withdrew $300 from my account, claiming I hadn't paid for my rental, despite my invoice clearly indicating that I had been paying a monthly fee. I was with Primo for 4 years with absolutely no hiccups. My delivery driver Mario sent me xmas cards every year. Love the guy. Then Primo got bought out by Ready Refresh and I haven't gotten water since. First I scheduled my water a few days earlier than normal (Tuesday instead of Friday) because I had people over and needed more water. They missed Tuesday but rescheduled for Wednesday. Then rescheduled to Friday. Okay, I had juuust enough water to last me to Friday, which was my normal delivery date anyway. Then they reschedule to Monday! So now we are out of water and I am definitely not expecting to actually receive water on Monday. (update: they rescheduled to Tuesday the day after I posted this) So I am firing Ready Re-suck because apparently they don't want my money anyway. I am going with a local water shop. I implore everyone having issues with Ready Re-suck to immediately cancel and go local if possible. This company needs to go out of business. I've been a customer of Sparkletts Water and Primo Water for 35 years. When the merger came and Ready Fresh took over the Sparkletts brand, I've never been more disappointed in a company. They put my credit card on automatic payments and over charged my bank without my approval. I don't write one-star reviews, and this may be my first, but I have to say that I am really unhappy with the service. To begin with, they stopped delivering Sparkletts brand. I started service with Primo on April 29, 2025, and initially received my AC+ION™ Ion Charged Alkaline Water 5-Gallon jug. After that first delivery, the product was consistently out of stock, and I was given "spring water" instead--without notice or consent. So I canceled. I spoke with Paul around August 18, 2025, who told me the bottles and dispenser would be picked up on September 19. He also confirmed that as long as everything was returned--which it was--I would not owe anything further. I even received a case number: #66637473. Then came the bill. A charge for renting the cooler--never disclosed, never agreed to, and directly contradicting what I was told. When I called customer service on October 29, I was told, "The best I can do for your billing concern for today is to waive the $20 late fee." That's not a solution. That's a script. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told I'd have to wait 24 hours. Apparently, accountability is on back order, too. This isn't just my story--it's a pattern. Primo Brands/ReadyRefresh does not uphold the legacy that Sparkletts built. Sparkletts had a long-standing reputation for reliability and customer care. What we have now is a rebrand with none of the backbone: long hold times, surprise fees, and customer reps who can't resolve basic issues. Last week, I called and after being on hold for almost an hour, a rep came on and said they would not charge for me for delivery this month and promised to deliver a week ago; they said there was some change in ownership. I've been trying to get them to pick up an old dispenser for months, and despite multiple calls and assurances, it's still sitting here. The first ignored me after asking questions trying to get me not to cancel and the second did the same until I told her I would be filing a complaint because it should never take this long. We are located in Washington DC and we've been a customer for many years. Even with Ready Refresh the deliveries were never done on time, the monthly invoice would show items we never purchased, and the customer service was terrible. After it was acquired by Primo Brands the situation became even worse, almost unbearable. Now, when they complete a delivery, they add items that belongs to other customers, they increased prices of products and delivery fee, and the customer service was sent overseas, making contact and communication almost impossible. We are still waiting on them to fix our last invoice and refund the amount they overcharged, for items we've never received. It has passed almost 30 days and several contacts with the customer service, but we are almost losing hope. DO NOT WASTE your time and money. Overcharging my cards. Attempting to make unauthorized charges for $63-$73. Mind you, I have a dispenser rental and recurring 3 5gallon bottle delivery which is approx $30. I paid my bill in full balance is $0.00 I did not receive a delivery. I have a new bill for $23.80. I called to ask where is my delivery and was told 3 different stories. I then escalated to a Jim. I was told I had not made a payment. My payment is right there on the computer ReadyFresh website. I was then told I had auto pay that did not got through, I do not have auto pay. I was then told that the delivery was not made due to the $23.80 payment due. I have questions??? Why do I have a bill and did not receive water? I have had nothing but problems with this Ready Refresh company. I started water delivery many years ago with Sparklets, and setup auto pay and paperless statements. Everything went smoothly until a month or two ago when a paper statement showed up in the mail. I didn't ask for it, so I looked into what was going on. I found out that I was being charged a monthly fee for paper statement, and I also discovered that I was charged a late payment fee. It's interesting to note that the online invoices for my account clearly indicated auto pay. I contacted customer service regarding their issues, and have yet to hear from anyone or get reimbursed for the incorrect charges. I'm actively looking for alternatives to this company.
