I found Ernesto on Nextdoor, got a couple quotes and his was the best. He has great communication, fast response, and punctual. He did an amazing job removing all the junk he tore up from my mom's backyard (an old rotting deck, old jacuzzi we cut up, lots of rotting lumber my dad saved for years, and tons of junk from the garage). He took 3 truck loads and worked so fast I was impressed! He even make sure to sweep up after all our junk left tiny scaps. See for yourself the amazing before and afters. read more

Highly recommend. Ernesto and his team were great from start to finish. I used Yelp to request a quote for removing a fountain in my backyard. Ernesto responded quickly with a competitive quote and showed up the next day right on time to remove it with his truck. He and his team were quick, professional, and friendly. I'll definitely call them again after I clean out the garage and prep more items for removal. read more

Their service, accountability and communication is top notch. I would highly recommend them for any furniture / junk removal service.

We just bought a house and are starting to tear it apart ...cause that's what you do when you buy a new house, right? Anyway, Ernesto was easy to reach, he got back to us quickly and set up a time to come check out the pile we needed to get rid of. The quote was reasonable (he beat every quote I received) so we booked him for the next day. Ernesto and his crew were available an hour before our scheduled time so he texted and asked if he could come earlier. When they got here, they were polite, efficient and got the huge pile of wood and junk out of my yard in a timely manner! I love that he accepts Venmo- super easy to pay him and I thanked him for the good work! I will be using his services again! read more

Great! Responded quick, price was very fair, very nice and professional workers, job was done in 5 minutes. Would recommend and hire again

Ernesto was quick to reply on BOTH times when I used his service. All he asked was to take pictures of what needed to be hauled and he gave us a quote within 10-20mins. First time, we rented a 10x10 dumpster which he dropped off and picked up after a week. Next time, I called him last minute and he was able to accommodate us on the same day but at the end of the day. Ernesto and his colleague pulled up with their dump truck and took all our junk in 10 mins! I would definitely use Ready Set Junk again, if we had more junk haha. Thank you again for the great service and quick communication! read more

Ernesto is a fantastic gentleman! I originally found him on Marketplace and noticed he had a Yelp acct so with that said I am writing this review. Ernesto Is a very professional, respectful, responsive, and punctual young man. He did an estimate to remove my hot tub and dispose of an old tv. He was also kind and disposed of some odd and ends for me as well. Once he completed the job, he called me outside to double check if everything was done to my expectation, and it was! Thank you Ernesto and team. You are amazing! If you need things cleaned up, he's your guy! Hire him! read more

Needed to haul away spring cleaning garbage that had accumulated for awhile. Ernesto gave the best rate and had availability for the date requested. He replied quickly and communicated on pickup day. It was a plus that they're nice guys on top of providing great service. I highly recommend this business. read more

If you're shopping for rates, are looking for a good deal and junk removed quickly, look no further! Ernesto and the RSJ crew are your guys! This review is long overdue, but as the saying goes, "better late than never!" I can't say enough great things about working with Ernesto. He was super communicative and easy to work with, super professional and has a great demeanor. In January, I had a listing that needed some major decluttering and junk removal. After calling several places and getting estimates on what it would cost to remove 6 loads of junk from the house, Ernesto's quote was the most affordable and his timeline worked perfectly with what we needed. Over one weekend, Ernesto was able to clear out the entire home and took every scrap and bit that was needed to be removed. I will for sure be calling Ernesto for all my future junk removal needs - you really won't find a better deal elsewhere. read more

I was looking for someone to help clean out my storage unit. I came across Ernesto shot him a text. He promptly responded with a quote and his availability. By the way his quote was the best quote I received even by those who stated that they had the best prices around. We scheduled for the next day and make a long story short I had an awesome experience. Ernesto was very professional and kind. He kept in constant communication as to his arrival. Which I greatly appreciated. He also helped me put some things in my car. I would definitely recommend and use this company again!! read more

Omg these guys are Angels! Ernesto was super kind, timely, reliable, and they offered the lowest price (I received 5 quotes for about 26ft length/4-6 ft width/height of junk). They went above and beyond, sweeping any large debris leftover and emptying our green bin before leaving. I also love that they do their best to recycle and reuse as many junk items as possible. I'll definitely be calling them going forward and referring them to my friends and family. Thank you so much! read more

Solid 5 stars. There are a lot of junk pick up businesses out there (and we've used others in the past) but this transaction was so smooth that we would recommend this business and use them again for the future. I think what stands out for me is the clear communication. We worked w/ Ernesto. He got back to me in a timely manner with a quote via pictures we sent him. I was able to schedule a pick up 2 days later! And they also sent texts, reminding us and notifying they were on their way. I paid what I was quoted and the price was fair; very convenient that they accept Venmo. And they work fast! 100% would recommend. read more

They showed up on time to drop off and pick up. Easy to communicate, they were very clear about the service.

This company does do an excellent service. Ernesto and Raymond are awesome guy. Very prompt, professional, honest and friendly. Reasonable price. I am very pleased with their service. It's really worthy to give them a five star on my review. Highly recommend and will definitely use their service again. Thank You guys and I really appreciate, more power to your business! read more

These guys are amazing! Super efficient, super friendly and very fair priced. I was quoted $150 higher by another place, so I know they are fair and they got everything picked up so quick that my grandma didn't even know they had already been here! Haha. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Really happy with the service that Ready Set Junk provided. I reached out to Ernesto with the desire to have a small fence and shed removed from our yard. He was quick to return my messages and gave me a reasonable quote compared to the other vendors I was looking at. We scheduled a day to have the shed/fence and Ernesto checked in frequently due to the inclement weather we have been having. The rain cleared up about an hour before the project was supposed to start, and he let me know that they were on the way and would be there five minutes early. Once him and his coworker arrived they both wore masks for the duration of the project, and got the shed and fence taken down in under an hour. He was pleasant to work with, and we will absolutely look to hire Ready Set Junk again for future projects. read more

Ernesto responded to my quote really quick and his pricing was unbeatable. He was able to accommodate me pretty quick since I wanted to get rid of a bunch of furniture in less than a week. Requested Ernesto's help with post bathroom remodel junk removal. He and his team provided good value, responsive and reliable service. Would definitely look for him for any major junk removal in the future. read more

I stumbled across this company via Yelp because the real estate company I work for sold a property that needed an old freezer removed from before handing over the keys to the buyers. It was a last minute job and sent out a quote to Ernesto and a few others in the area. Let me just say I barely closed the app within seconds of sending the quote out to which Ernesto was responding within seconds. He was professional and transparent not to mention compared to other quotes I received minutes after from other companies and he was by far the most competitive with pricing. Other guys wants hundreds of dollars for this quick job; meanwhile, he charged $75. Not to mention he made the experience seem less and quick. Good conversation as well! Most folks are a little awkward when doing the job but this guy is definitely a people person. Learned he is a young yet highly motivated entrepreneur. Definitely saving his number for more jobs for our company! 10/10 recommend! read more

A HUGE shout out to Ernesto at Ready. Set. Junk! He gave me a reasonable bid within minutes of my posting a request, and worked around my schedule to haul away household items and furniture. I received bids from 5 companies but Ernesto was the most reasonable. He was very pleasant and accommodating, arrived right on time, wore a mask and gloves, and provided me with a receipt. We will definitely work with him again in the future should the need arise for hauling (which most likely it will since we don't own a truck)! Overall a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Ernesto and his company to anyone in the Bay Area. Thanks so much! read more
