Real Paint Fire is a good choice to do a ln individual project , date , couple or family craft activity. I would say ages 5+ can enjoy an art session here. A few weeks ago I made a reservation online a day before my visit. I was able to choose what craft I was doing and there is an option for indecisive crafters as well. The next day I walked over from my hotel (it is one block east of Main Street). I checked in and the sales person at the counter said I could look around the pottery room and or head upstairs if interested in other paint projects. When you walk in there is a candle bar to make candles, there is also a retail store. When you head upstairs somebody will take you to your table and explain how to start your project depending what you chose to do. They will give you a small menu if you want any small snacks or beverages. I chose a tile project and others opted to paint ceramics. We crafted for about 2 hours and there was always a person seeing how things were going and to help. Even though everyone was very helpful and kind, Sidney was especially fantastic from start to pick up the next day of our ceramic and tile projects. I think Sidney was really genuine in making sure that our projects would come out great and that we were enjoying our time here. I would suggest if you want to take a break from walking around and shopping this would be the best thing for a little fun time. read more

This place was AMAZING! My mom and I came here and we did candle making the first day and pottery painting the next. The people here are absolutely incredible and kind and the experience was so much fun! For candle making it's like wine tasting where your nose gets to taste all the different scent options. You get to choose a vase for your candle and you really learn about the process in detail. The painting the next day was peaceful and user friendly! Took my four year old here for a fun family activity! Very lovely staff who took the time to interact with us and provide us age appropriate guidance for my daughter! Busy but sooooo worth the time spent there! My group of five got super lucky and got our own table for a bit before we had to combine with some other people. The place was little cozy and welcoming. The ladies were great and gave us a run down of the entire place. Be aware there is a $10 studio fee that is good for the entire week, but the comparably cheaper pottery pieces made it worth the fee. I was able to get a decent sized bowl for $20. My group spent around 2.5 hours painting and decorating our pieces. It does get a little bit noisy because of the small children, but the ladies seek to keep them magically in check. My wife and I visited Breck in May for our first anniversary, and one of our favorite experiences of the weekend was Ready, Paint, Fire. First, when my wife called ahead to learn more about the place, Beth was extremely friendly and helpful. She told us about their "happy hour" on Saturday evening, where the studio fee and drinks are half-price! We took advantage of that and had a great time. (Also, the studio fee is good through the weekend, so you don't have to repay if you visit multiple times.) The atmosphere is really fun. We enjoyed the music, which was a great mix of classics and pop. As far as what to do, there's lots of possibilities. We both chose pottery to paint, but we also really liked how there were lots of step-by-step guides for canvas painting, plenty of which were Colorado- / mountain-themed. We actually both used those canvas painting guides to paint our pottery, and it turned out great! Perfect for those like me who lack creativity when confronted with a blank slate. This was a great place to sip wine, listen to fun music, and try something artistic. And Beth was an awesome host to it all! read more

Can't go wrong spending an afternoon at Ready Paint Fire --- lots of great pottery painting options. For a reasonable studio fee you can be there as long as you want - only additional costs are to purchase the pottery itself. It's a fun, low key atmosphere no doubt supported by the really kind and friendly owner who always seems to be there when I visit. The staff are there to help if you need anything, from basics like a need for tape or fresh water for your brushes, to more high maintenance questions like, how do I remove the tree I painted poorly. Everyone is friendly. There are other craft options that I've never done - mosaics, canvas painting. Tip for the future - they have (adult) beverages, you can bring in snacks. Might be a fun way to get the guys to come although it is a fun girl (or even solo) outing. read more

This place is so much fun! I always make time for a stop in Ready Paint Fire every time I'm in Breck and take my friends and family whenever they visit. The canvas parties on Thursday and Saturday nights are always a blast! I've taken groups of friends (girls and guys). Some were skeptical before arriving that they wouldn't be able to paint or would be bored but everyone consistently ended up having a great time and walked out with a painting they were very proud to hang up at home. The instructors are great and very helpful. Even my 8yo son and 10yo daughter have done paintings there that look amazing! Pottery painting during other times is better than other places too! The owner is always friendly, helpful, and eager to assist with ideas and techniques that I never would have come up with on my own. She taught my kids a fun technique using bubbles that resulted in the coolest coffee mug in my cabinet. I can't say enough about how much I love this place! read more

We've been coming here every summer for 5 years during our summer vacation to Breckenridge. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. They offer appropriate help for all age/skill level. They have a large variety of items to paint (small, big, useful, fun, decorative, etc.), including painted canvas projects and interesting glass projects. It's fun for kids and adults. They sell beverages (juice, soda and alcoholic drinks) so you can hang out for a while and enjoy your time. It's a cute shop and is in a great location. If you can't pick up your finished items, they'll ship them to you. We live out of state, our items were well packed and arrived in good condition. Unexpectedly tucked in a cute house, this place offers something for all ages. Owner is wonderful. She is friendly, helpful and fun. Prices are reasonable and pieces are prices proportioned to their sizes etc. They play pretty good music and you can sip a glass of wine if you choose to do so. There are a lot of different projects to choose from. When we first visited my husband was hesitant thinking he was going to be bored. On the contrary, he had a good time and we we very happy with the humble creations of ours :) it takes couple of days for them to fire the ceramic after painting is finished so schedule accordingly if you want to take your piece back home with you. If not, they ship as well for a small fee and they surely did a great job with packing when they shipped our pieces one year. I love going to this place since it is relaxing, creative and fun. They take the time to work with you on your project(s) to ensure you have enjoyed yourself, learned something and taken home an item that you are proud to have crafted. What is better than that?!? They now offer additional workshops such as painting on canvas, mosaic tiles and glass fusion, which all appear to turn out beautifully as you watch the students go! I don't even know where to begin! We came across Ready Paint Fire in the What to Do magazine we picked up in Breckenridge. I mentioned it to everyone and we looked it up online. You can't really see all the project options so we called. I talked to Bethany and she advised there was indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor is considered VIP and she was sending me a private link to reserve. Our cell reception has been in and out so I emailed her to advise her it wasn't accepting the coupon in the What to Do. Bethany advises me there were no coupons and I thought I wonder if she knows she has an ad in this magazine. I emailed her back and she very bluntly stated that due to the COVID-19 operations had changed and she was not able to honor it. I stated that I understood and we would discuss it. We are a group of 11. We got together with every last night and decided to go do some shopping so we thought we would just stop by and see what was actually available. We sent one person up and she said her next class was at noon. We parked in a paid parking lot. The other half of our party arrived and pulled into the lot. There were two unused parking spaces dedicated to RPF so they pulled in it and we were going to go back up to sign up for the 12 class but Bethany came marching out the back clapping her hands at us like she was telling us to "shoo" and telling our other guests "you cannot park there unless you have a class booked!" Before they could say that's what they were doing she ranted on "and you are parked the wrong way. If I have an appointment come the can't get in here or here!' She was so dramatic with her gestures and didn't let anyone say a word. Our guests stated that they did not want to give someone so rude and abrupt their business so we all left! I emailed Bethany to tell her that is no way you treat people who have drove 1500 miles to vacation and bring her our business. I advised her that she acted that way in front of 11 people who would definitely leave a review! She emailed me back stating that she reviewed all of the guidelines (we didn't speak for 2 minutes and parking was never mentioned or the fact you couldn't stop to schedule) of parking and booking online and proceeded to insult my family and friends by telling me she hoped we would practice safety while visiting Breckenridge! We all had masks on in the parking lot but this made my blood boil. I have been a nurse for 27 years and with no incentives whatsoever I have continued working full time since the outbreak. She then continued with untruths that she supposedly said and did and followed up with "I'll post this to the review as well!" I have all correspondence if anyone would like to see but what if Someone just drove by thought this looks interesting and stopped? Would SJD have treated them the same? read more

My friend and I discovered this studio while on vacation and how much fun. The work with the resort we were staying at and we missed that day so we went to the studio. We had so much fun we went back another day. The price was right and they had so much options in materials. There were so many options in things you can do. They teach you how. I was in Breck with my family last year. We flew over from the UK to spend some time on the slopes. I bust my wrist day 2... what should I do? I spent much of my time in here. I loved the place. There's loads of different pottery to paint so I ended up doing an entire dinner set over a few days. My kids came in a few times and we painted dragons, animals, football helmets... they loved it. Awesome awesome place. The lady's were fantastic with our 3 and 5 year olds. We went early so nobody else was there... but no matter, they have numerous stations set up. I've personally never been to a place like this, although my wife has and she said it was good to go. Did this on our last day, but they will "fire" the "things" and mail them to you.
