The person working the cash register looked it up and said it would be $51. 3 minutes later, I found the EXACT same shawl in a small which had a price tag of 41.50 (the first one was a medium). We asked him to honor the price, and he said "nope, mediums probably cost more because, you know extra fabric." Okay, first of all, that's not how clothes work. But to humor him my friend tried on the small and it fit, and we asked to get that one. "Nope (again) all sales are final (he and not told us that). You can't exchange it, for the exact same item for the correct price. You CAN go buy something else for the price difference (not easy to do), so she bought a bracelet and paid more. Such a contrast to the experience I'm accustomed to shopping on Frisco Main Street. NOT a good reflection on our town at all. I will never bring a guest there again. Plenty of other local shops who treat locals and visitors well.

This store was filled with many different types of furniture and items that were donated. I find that the quality and selection of merchandise really depends on the neighborhood that they are located in. I really found that this store was a bit pricey. I found a couple of paintings that caught my eye and they were asking for a price that was more than it was worth because the original price tags were still on the back of the paintings. They were $10-$20 dollars cheaper then what Habitat for humanity was asking for. After seeing that it I lost some interest shopping in the store. Since I was now just in browsing mode it's interesting to see what was donated in this area.

I understand some things will be priced high if it's expensive furniture to begin with, but literally EVERYTHING is overpriced. And if there is no price on it, you bring it up to the front, and you'll get different prices depending on which employee you ask. I once asked a price on a lamp, and was told $20; brought it up to the front and the cashier said $30. Just as I was about to check out, the manager (I assume?) told her to charge me $45 instead. Literally all within a twenty minute time frame. Like I said- although their selection is nice, the price points feel a bit scammy, especially considering they make up the price on the spot

We had the best time and spent over two hours checking everything out. It is the coolest place for all ages. If you like the Wild West then you are really going to enjoy this. So many buildings and artifacts to check out. Such a great way to learn the history of Leadville. The associates were very friendly. There was even an associate that walked around outside in case you had any questions. There are scavenger sheets for the kids. There's even a video that you can watch in one of the buildings. Make sure to climb around on the caboose and train engine. Are you tired but haven't got to see everything yet? Your ticket allows you to leave and come back during the same day. Such an affordable price for such a fun adventure. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back. Keep up the great job!!

The exterior of the building is beautiful and there are a few historical plaques placed around the outside to further educate you on the cool history of this place. Great photo opportunity!
