I was by myself, he invited me into the back to see the process, told me his story and walked me down the street to show me the walking trail at the end of the street when he heard I didn;t ski. We were just stopping in to admire the glass art and the owner invited us to the back for a glass blowing demonstration. Well, it was more than a demonstration, we helped! It was amazing to see small pieces of glass come together to form a wonderful design in glass. We ended up purchasing the creation (a sake glass) and came back to have them custom design and create a larger piece for our home. Really a fun place to stop by (and I am not one who likes to frolic through shops). The owner's humorous approach made the process fun. Be sure to stop by when you are in Summit Country. read more

The "Must Do" of Breckenridge! My wife and I did the 3 hour class with John while in Breck for a week for our anniversary. John far exceeded our expectations. To say it was "hands on" is an understatement. I could go on and on but trust me, don't miss the opportunity to participate in what is sure to be a once in a lifetime experience. This place is a MUST if you are in the area. Take a class from John. It is seriously so fun!! It is a bit pricey but worth it if you can afford it. John teaches you the basics and helps you create your masterpiece. It's so fun to learn the steps and work on your piece. He is a great teacher and helps you learn and do your best. My whole family went and John even went over the designated time to make sure all 5 of us got to make our own piece. Very fun experience. read more

I love this place! If you're looking for something to do in Frisco, this is so cool. My kids and I went to Frisco and attended one of the free demos John offers from 2-6 on Thursday. My daughter had an amazing life experience learning how to blow glass. She made a little vase that she's beyond proud of. Highly recommend the demo and the classes he offers. read more

Our first visit as a family to Colorado! Looked forward to meeting owner, artist and glassblower John Hudnut. We read that he had demonstrations on Tues, Thurs, Sat & Sun from 2-7pm. He was very interactive with all of us, especially our young kids. During our time there, he made a beautiful dolphin, transformed two beer bottles into a cup, wove in shards of different color glass and stretched glass across the length of his studio into an amazing glass sticks with colors swirled in (our girls got to take home a small piece as a souvenir) and finally made a beautiful Christmas ornament. We saw different techniques and tools and our girls (us and other audience members) were sitting engrossed in the amazing experience! A neat break from the snow activities here. read more

What an incredible family experience. John walked us through the creation of a beautiful glass bowl. His friendly demeanor coupled with his experience made for an enjoyable time. The highlight of our family vacation. I highly recommend taking one of his classes, as a couple or as a family. He was wonderful with our kids, allowing them to perform many of the stages of the glass blowing process. We left with great memories as well as a beautiful piece of artwork.
