From the moment you begin planning until the last guest leaves the dance floor, Rhett and his family are incredibly hands-on, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your event a success. It's truly a family affair, with Rhett, his wife, son, and daughter all pitching in to make everything feel seamless. One of the things that sets Wave Street Studios apart is how effortlessly the space transforms throughout the evening. Our guests enjoyed dinner, then the room transitioned beautifully into a lively dance floor without missing a beat. The lighting, technology, and overall atmosphere create a magical experience that feels both sophisticated and welcoming. Rhett also coordinated seamlessly with one of their preferred catering partners, Fire on Wheels Pizza, who not only served fantastic food but even created a custom signature mocktail just for our event. It was such a thoughtful touch that our guests loved. Hosting a nonprofit gala requires countless moving pieces, and having a venue partner who anticipates needs, solves problems before they arise, and truly cares is invaluable. Wave Street Studios does exactly that. Add in the tremendous value for everything that's included, and it's hard to imagine a better event venue on the Monterey Peninsula. What we especially love is that it doesn't feel like another generic hotel ballroom. The space has personality, warmth, and a sense of place that made our guests feel like they were part of something truly special. It created an experience--not just an event. If you're looking for a unique venue for a fundraiser, wedding, corporate event, or celebration, I can't recommend Wave Street Studios highly enough. We look forward to coming back again.

I felt relaxed & confident in front of the screen. What made it so much easier, even though I memorized the script, was having the teleprompter right there within the face of the camera (IPad) so all I had to do was read the script & it looked as if I was looking directly into the camera. Mike operated the camera & interviewed me at the same time, which went smoothly in one take, but we did 2 just as backup. We shot at the golden hour, around 3pm, which made the video/ photos turn out stunning! He also took shots of me posing in workout stances to assist the verbal testimonial. I love the results of both the video & photographs! Overall, Mike Buffo was personable & professional & I would definitely recommend him as your next videographer! Thank you!! Yvonne Foletta :)

Being a Big Sur/Monterey local, Adam provided extremely helpful insight and feedback for my proposal. He definitely helped relieve a lot of the stress during the planning phase of my proposal. On the day of the actual shoot, the day-of jitters was overwhelming at times, but Adam's energy and demeanor was very centering. He was patient and gave my new fiancee and I space to calm ourselves, and also knew when to take charge and guide us with our poses. He also had amazing and creative ideas for how to pose and brought us to local, reclusive spots to take intimate photos. Best of all, Adam always had a smile on his face and he made us really think like we were supermodels walking the runway haha. If you're going to do any photoshoot, especially a proposal or engagement shoot, in the Big Sur/Monterey area, I would highly recommend getting Adam!!

She made wedding guests feel comfortable when shooting their video commentary which helped add humorous moments to the occasion and captured all of the special moments in unique and creative ways. She processed edits timely and flawlessly and produced an excellent final video presentation. Fast forward 15 years after my wedding, my father (Daddy-O) who walked me down the wedding aisle passed away suddenly. I wanted to incorporate portions of my wedding video that show my Daddy-O smiling, dancing, laughing and living his best life into his memorial slideshow presentation, however, I got divorced and couldn't find my wedding video. I contacted Peri in hopes she still had it, and she was able to confirm within a matter of minutes that she saved my video footage. Peri provided a test video for me to download to make sure it was compatible with the video editing software i'm using for my Daddy-O's slideshow. Once I confirmed it was a compatible file type, she provided a secondary high resolution file to download, all within a few days which will help me complete my father's slideshow presentation in time for his memorial. Truth be told: I was not 100% sold on a wedding video, but my mom (a psycho-therapist) told me it was a good idea for years to come of how we felt on that day. I'm very glad we did do the video because it captures the day's emotions in a totally different way than still photography and with all the excitement of the day, its hard to remember every detail (or impossible otherwise to see different perspectives).... and our wedding was only a few months ago! I really appreciate Peri's genuine/ positive/ caring attitude, there is nothing pretentious or high pressure about her. She is extremely responsive and present. These characteristics are important in enjoying the time we spent together, around our guests and to getting the best, most authentic wedding video. Peri obviously loves what she does, she listens to clients and provides a great end product. We will enjoy our wedding video for years to come!!

When I called them, a young guy just answered, "Hello?" How unprofessional! First red flag. I told him I was impressed by their website, but the way he answered the phone was really unprofessional and sends up a red flag; but I'm willing to move past that and inquire about their services. That was his cue to express a modicum of humility and apologize, but no -he just asked how they could help, with a tone that clearly indicated he really didn't care. There was no life in his voice. When I began telling him what I'm interested in, he cut me off and said he's busy with a client. Wow! Obviously all that glitters isn't gold, as this is clearly NOT a professional business -one that would have someone answer calls when they're with a client, or simply not answer the phone, so they can stay focused on their client. Taking away from a client's time (and money) to answer calls is disrespectful and unprofessional. Seeing any further conversation would be wasted on him, I hung up.
